Dr. Frank M. Boals, 83, of Alton, died July 20, 1998, in Saint Anthony's Health Center in Alton. He married Margaret Monfort, who survives. He was an osteopath prior to retirement, an active member of the Alton Symphony Orchestra, and the Alton-Godfrey Rotary Club, where he had more than 50 years perfect attendance. Also surviving is a son, Dr. David Boals of Stuttgart, Germany. A memorial service, through Gent Funeral Home in Alton, will be conducted at a later date.
