Clyde Clinton Goss, 89, died Apr. 28, 1997. He married Ruth Suit, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Frank of Godfrey; daughters, Pat Conway of Godfrey, Pam Gray of Rosewood Heights, and Marjorie Hembree of Bandura, Tx.; brothers, Wallace of Godfrey, and Pearley of Lafayette, In.; and 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Services were in Elias-Smith in Alton. Memorials may be given to the Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Wallace Goss, 86, of Godfrey, died July 3, 1999, in Saint Anthony's Health Center in Alton. He married Shirley Voorhees, who survives. Also surviving are sons, Kevin and Larry, both of Brighton, Dennis of Deltona, Fl., Donald of Godfrey, Wallace of Orlando, Fl., and Robert of Urbana; and daughters, Diane Mead and Debra Kruse, both of Godfrey, Sharon Rensing of Red Bud, Theresa Goss of Cleveland, Oh., and Mary Jones of Brighton. She had been president of DeGerlia General Hauling and Excavating in East Alton.
