Mr. John Murray Knight
John Murray Knight, 73, of Waverly, Illinois, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2002, at his home in Waverly, Illinois. He was born November 11, 1928, the son of John Nicholas and Mary Adcock Knight. He married Marjorie Jean Dorwart on April 21, 1951 in Balboa, Canal Zone.
Mr. Knight retired as a Shipping Supervisor from Mobile Chemical. He served 22 years in the United States Navy, and was a member of the Waverly American Legion Post #262. He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife; 2 sons, Gereth Lee Knight of Waverly, Illinois, Daniel W. (Cindy) Knight of Glenarm, Illinois; 2 daughters, Cynthia L. Turner of Sherman, Illinois, Laura L. (Pat) Sellers of Jacksonville, Illinois; 7 grandchildren, 1 brother, Gareth “Bud” Knight of Centerville, Ohio; 1 sister, Gloria (LN) Caldwell of Okeechobee, Florida.
Funeral Services will be at 10am, Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Waverly, Illinois. Family will meet friends from 5pm to 8pm, Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at the Neece Funeral Home in Waverly, Illinois. Burial will be in Waverly East Cemetery in Waverly, Illinois. Memorials are suggested to the Waverly Rescue Squad or The American Cancer Society.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joyce Dunseth.
Mr. John M. Kollins
John M. Kollins, 63, of Waverly, formerly of the Gillespie, Illinois area, died on Monday, April 1, 2002 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois. He was born on October 30, 1938 in Litchfield, Illinois, the son of Martin Valentine and Jane Royce Kollins. He married M. Jane Selgert on November 30, 1963 in Sacred Heart Church on Livingston, Illinois and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons: John (wife, Jill) Kollins of Springfield, Illinois; Joe (wifer, Melanie) Kollins of Belleville, Illinois; Jamie Kollins of Springfield, Illinois and two granddaughters.
In January of this year, he retired as a carrier from the Springfield Post Office. He was principal of Waverly School from 1970 to 1972, and had been a coal miner in the Gillespie area for ten years. He was a member of the Virden Knights of Columbus, The National Railway Historical Society, served on the Waverly Library board for several years having been president and was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Waverly.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2002 in St.Sebastian Catholic Church in Waverly, IL. The family will receive friends at the Neece Funeral Home in Waverly from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2002 with Fr. Kevin Laughery leading the prayer service at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Gillespie, Illinois. Memorials are suggested to Waverly Rescue Squad or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Mrs. Maxine L. Kuhlman (Cooper)
Maxine L. Kuhlman, 80, of Jacksonville, died Monday morning, September 2, 2002, at her residence. She was born on January 9, 1922 in Beardstown, the daughter of Rolland and Cecil Griffin Cooper. She married Elmer L. Kuhlman on January 20, 1940 in Bowling Green e, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on November 20, 1980. She is survived by one daughter, Judith (husband, Harry) Driver of Jacksonville; two sons, Jack Kuhlman and Jay (wife, Julie) Kuhlman, both of Jacksonville; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Catherine (husband, Dale) Stambaugh of Astoria and Eileen Bowers of Almagordo, New Mexico, and one brother, Donald (wife, Shirley) Cooper of Beardstown. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Kuhlman was a homemaker, and dedicated herself to being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Women of the Moose, and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Jacksonville. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2002 at the Williamson Funeral Home. Interment will be at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home, with the family meeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Gambro Healthcare in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Zelma Lackscheide (DeWitt)
Zelma Lackscheide, age 83, of Perry, Ill. died late Sunday evening (Dec. 8, 2002) at her residence. She was born May 24, 1919 in Brown County, Ill. close to Buckhorn Township daughter of the late Hurley and Ada Stevenson DeWitt. She married Cecil Lackscheide on November 24, 1937 in Canton, Mo. and he preceded her in death on November 5, 1983. Surviving is one daughter, Shirley Cook of Perry, Ill.; a grandson Eugene Gansz of Springfield, Ill.; a sister, Winifred Lackscheide of Perry, Ill.; and a brother, Guy DeWitt of Perry, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Cecil DeWayne Lackscheide; and a brother, Kenneth DeWitt. Mrs. Lackscheide attended Fargo School in Brown County, Ill. and attended high school at Brown County High School in Mt. Sterling, Ill. She was a past employee of the Jacksonville State Hospital in Jacksonville, Ill. for many years. She was a past election judge in Perry Township, and a member of the Perry American Legion Auxiliary #1040. She was also a member of the Perry Presbyterian Church and a member of the Presbyterian Guild at the church. She loved pets and enjoyed her Pekinese dog Sus-ce who lived with her 17 years. She enjoyed her family and friends and visiting. Zelma enjoyed the coffee group at the local restaurant, which she attended every day before she fell, fracturing her hip in 1997. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday (December 14, 2002) at the Airsman-Hires Chapel in Griggsville, Ill. with Rev. David Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery in Perry, Ill. Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Harry Leon Lakin
Harry Leon Lakin, 61, of White Hall was pronounced dead at his residence
on Feb. 12, 2002 at 1:30 P.M.
Born in Carrollton on Jan. 1, 1941 he was the son of the late Charles and
Evelyn DeShasier Lakin.
He married Janice Swearengim on March 30, 1962 and they later
divorced.
Surviving are a daughter: Cheryl (husband Tim) Soucia of Vacaville,
Calif. , 2 sons: Deon and Leon Lakin both of Fairfield, Calif., 4
grandchildren: Jessie, Jennifer, Derrek and Jered, 5 sisters: Norma Mann of
Springfield, Twyla Painter of Berdan, Mary Hughes of Walshville, Janet
Barlow of Berdan, Joyce Cummings of Rockfalls, 5 brothers: Glen Lakin of
Shelby Township, Mich., Elmer Lakin of White Hall, Terry Lakin of
Beardstown, Lyndle Lakin of Berdan and Neal Lakin of Maine. He was
preceded in death by 3 brothers: Royal, Randall and Raymond Lakin.
Mr. Lakin served his country for over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force
retiring in 1980 as a Tech. Sargent. His service included a tour of duty in
Vietnam. He later worked for Golden North Transport as in their
wherehouse and as a driver. He was a member of the AmVets in Litchfield
and the White Hall VFW. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until service time at 1 P.M. at the Berdan
Baptist Church in Berdan. Burial will follow in the White Hall Cemetery.

Ms. Betty Lou Lamb
Betty Lou Lamb, 72, of Jacksonville died Thursday, May 23, 2002 at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville. She was born on August 12, 1929 in Ashland the daughter of Hamilton and Lillie Maud Lamb McCarty.
Ms. Lamb is survived by her close friend, Lin Beeley of South Jacksonville.
Ms. Lamb was raised in Ashland, attending classes there through the 10th grade. Following the death of her parents, she lived and worked for Ms. Minnertz in Ashland and enjoyed her relationship with her relatives, the Elmores, of Pleasant Plaines. She later cared for the elderly in their homes in Ashland and Springfield.
Ms. Lamb enjoyed reading, animals, and viewing television programs on animals. She particularly enjoyed visits with friends, and community outings.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2002 at Calvary Cemetery in Jacksonville. There will be no visitation. The Williamson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Nancy J. Lambie
Nancy J. Lambie, 66, of Woodson died Monday morning, February 25, 2002 at St. John’s Hospice in Springfield. She was born on November 14, 1935 in Jacksonville, the daughter of Harry Kitner and Verna E. Vaniter.
She is survived by two sons: Jay (wife, Chris) Chaplin of Auburn and Scott (wife, Angela Lambie of Pontoon Beach; four daughters: Toni (husband, Dennis) Barela of Diamond Bar, California, Sandy (husband, Rick) Morris of Jacksonville, Joy (husband, Jeremy) Horrer of Chapin, and Chris, (husband, Mark) Savage of Winchester; 22 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and one brother, George L. (wife, Deborah) Vaniter, Jr. of Woodson. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Roxy Hobbs and one sister, Joanne Taylor.
Ms. Lambie was a developmental supervisor at Jacksonville Developmental Center, retiring after 25 years. Following retirement, she worked for the United States Postal Service in Woodson and served as the treasurer for the village of Woodson.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at Williamson Funeral Home with burial at Chapin Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon on Wednesday at the funeral home where the family will meet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Johns Hospice in Springfield.
Mrs. Catherine M. Lane (Rider)
Catherine M. Lane, 80, of Altamont and formerly of Jacksonville, died early Wednesday morning, April 10, 2002 at Lutheran Health Care in Altamont. She was born on August 28, 1921 in Winchester the daughter of William Orville and Ethel Piper Rider. She married Virgil Delmore Lane on April 29, 1967 in Jacksonville and he survives in Altamont.
She is also survived by two step-sons, Ronnie (wife, Vickie) Lane of Queen Creek, Arizona and Lonnie (wife, Gayla) Lane of Indianapolis, Indiana; three step-daughters, Kathy (husband, Lyndall) Woodward of Effingham, Pam (husband, Jim) Jones of Jacksonville, and Judy (husband, Joe) Hughes of Houston, Texas; fourteen step-grandchildren; seventeen step-great-grandchildren; one brother, George (wife, Mary) Rider of Brandenburg, Kentucky; and four sisters, Grace Elliott, Melba Six, and Ruth (husband, Aaron) Brogdon, all of Jacksonville, and Helen Thomas of Brandenburg, Kentucky.
Mrs. Lane was retired from Bound to Stay Bound Book Bindery where she worked repairing book bindings. She had also been employed as a waitress at Hudson’s Dairy. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, latch hook and traveling. She was of the Protestant faith.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2002 at the Williamson Funeral Home with burial at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, south of Jacksonville. Ms. Ilene Langdon
Ilene Langdon, 91, of Jacksonville, died Friday afternoon, August 23, 2002, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville. She was born on August 13, 1911 in Murrayville, the daughter of John W. and Bridget Lonergan Langdon. She is survived by one brother, Paul (wife, Peggy) Langdon of Jacksonville, and four nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Egan and Alma Langdon. Before her retirement in 1972, Ms. Langdon was a professor at the University of Illinois-Chicago, College of Nursing. For many years she was active in teaching and administration in the nursing profession. She was a member of the Church of Our Saviour, Catholic Daughters of America, St. Louis Council of Catholic Nurses, American Nurses Association, and the National League of Nurses Association. She was a graduate of St. Louis University and Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at the Church of Our Saviour with burial at St. Bartholomew Cemetery at Murrayville. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Monday at the Williamson Funeral Home where the family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A rosary service will be conducted at 5:30 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 5:45 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Our Saviour Old Rectory or Routt Catholic High School.
Alma Lanier
Alma Lanier, age 55, of Quincy, Ill. and formerly of Perry, Ill. died early Sunday morning (August 4, 2002) at her residence in Quincy, Ill. She was born June 14, 1947 in Pittsfield, Ill. daughter of the late Melvin L. and Virginia Orr Lanier. Surviving are two sisters, Barbara Lanier and her friend Ed Hildreth of Perry, Ill. and Sandy Kendrick and husband Bill of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; four brothers, Leslie Lanier of Perry, Ill., Gary Lanier and wife Kathy of Little Rock, Ark., Larry Lanier and wife Linda of Springfeld, Ill., Michael Lanier and wife Sandy of New London, Mo.; a special friend Donnie Dodds of Quincy, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Recently, Alma was employed by Sycamore HealthCare in Quincy, Ill. as a nurse’s aide. She was very active in Special Olympics, The Golden Games, and Guss Macker Tournaments. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday (August 6, 2002) at the Airsman-Hires Chapel in Griggsville, Ill. with burial in McCord Cemetery in Perry, Ill.. There will be no formal visitation. Ms. Catherine J. Large (Denham)
Catherine J. Large, 45, of South Jacksonville, died Tuesday evening, November 5, 2002, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was born on October 21, 1957, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Russell and Dorotha Myers Denham. She is survived by one daughter, Christy Large of South Jacksonville; three sisters, Mary Elizabeth (husband, Wendell, Jr.) Stephenson of Alexander, Deborah Kay (husband, Walter) Zupances of Georgetown, Indiana, and Russann (husband, Earl) Turner of Jacksonville; two brothers, William Russell (wife, Tina) Denham, Jr. of Franklin and James Thomas (companion, Debbie Krell) Denham of Alexander, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ms. Large was an insurance clerk in the business office at Passavant Hospital for over 25 years. She enjoyed computers and the internet. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2002 at the Williamson Funeral Home with burial at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, south of Jacksonville. Mrs. Shirley Ann Lash (Crawford)
Shirley Ann Lash, 66, of Franklin, died Sunday afternoon, July 7, 2002 at her daughter’s residence in Franklin. She was born on April 25, 1936 in rural Franklin, the daughter of Earl and Thelma Conrad Crawford. She married Charles E. Lash on January 14, 1953 in Jacksonville and he survives.
She is also survived by one daughter, Sharon Ann (husband, Pat) Bonjean of Franklin; two sons, Charles Timothy (wife, Deb) Lash of Waverly and Thomas Edward (wife, Martha) Lash of Citra, Florida; five grandchildren, and one sister, Alma Fulton of Temple, Texas. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Crawford, Jr., and James Richard Crawford; and one infant sister, Helen Crawford.
Mrs. Lash was an inspector with Bound to Stay Bound in Jacksonville for 34 years, retiring in 1998. She enjoyed flowers, especially roses, and playing cards with her friends. Mrs. Lash was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2002 at the Williamson Funeral Home with burial at Franklin Cemetery in Franklin. The family will meet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Samantha Elizabeth Lawson
Samantha Elizabeth Lawson, infant daughter of Joshua R. and Emily Elizabeth Price Lawson, was stillborn, Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She is survived by her parents of rural White Hall; one brother, Justin Lawson at home; maternal grandparents, Ted and Theresa Price of White Hall; paternal grandparents Edward and Tina Lawson of rural Hillview; maternal great grandmother, Joyce McEvers of White Hall; paternal great grandparents, Robert and Marjorie Lawson and David and Linda Darr, all of rural Hillview; and paternal great-great grandmother, Juanita Colton of Muscatine, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Myrl McEvers and John and Marion Price . Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002 at the Walkerville Cemetery. The Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Maurice Lee Lemarr
Maurice Lee Lemarr, 60, of Hettick, Illinois passed away Saturday, March 23, 2002, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois. He was born January 14, 1942 in Palmyra, Illinois, the son of Russell and Claraetta Shearburn Lamarr. He married Karen Laux in April of 1995 in Palmyra, Illinois.
He served in the United States Navy, retired after 31 years from Laclede Steel in Alton, Illinois and was an avid tractor collector. He was a member of the Macoupin County Historical Society and the Antique Tractor Club. He was also a member of the Palmyra Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; mother; 3 sons, Earl (Mary) Lemarr of Modesto, Illinois; Maurice (Penny) Lemarr of Highland, Illinois; Michael (Jaime) Lemarr of Palmyra, Illinois; 3 step sons, Aaron Bedrowsky of Washington, D.C.; Edward (Shannon) Bedrowsky of Xenia, Ohio; Elwood (Becky) Jacobs of Sawyerville, Illinois; 1 step daughter, Anne (James) Shell of Bellbrook, Ohio; 2 brothers Leslie (Stella) Lemarr of Alton, Illinois; Geoffrey (Thu) Lemarr of Poway, California; 1 sister Mary (Mitch) Walden of Carlinville, Illinois; 12 grandchildrens; and 1 great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at 10:30am at the Stults-Neece Funeral Home in Palmyra, Illinois. Family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm, Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Palmyra, Illinois. Memorials are suggested to the Palmyra First Baptist Church.

Martha L. Levi (Darr)
Martha L. Levi, 95, of Carrollton died at 4:30 P.M. on Thursday April 18,
2002 at Reisch Memorial Nursing Home in Carrollton.
Born in Bluffdale Twp. on March 23, 1907 she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Adeline Flatt Darr. She married Lloyd P. “Doc” Levi on Mary 27, 1927 in Alton and he preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1994.
Surviving are a sister Mary Hillig of Carrollton and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Graveside rites will be conducted on Sunday at 1 P.M. at the Eldred Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Eldred. Memorials may be made to Reisch Memorial Nursing Home. Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Carrollton is in

Mr. J. Reed Lewis
J. Reed Lewis, age 94, of Jacksonville, Ill. died early Saturday morning (November 30, 2002) at Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville, Ill. He was born June 11, 1908 near Exeter, Ill. son of the late Walter and Eunice Tharp Lewis. He married Velma Eileen Lawless on October 12, 1938 in Clayton, Missouri and she preceded him in death on February 13, 2002. Surviving is one daughter, Carol (husband Don) Mason of Roodhouse, Ill.; one son, Darrell (wife Betty) Lewis of Jacksonville; four grandchildren; two brothers, Elmer W. Lewis and Robert T. Lewis both of Jacksonville, Ill.; two sisters, Belle Whewell and Marie Culp and her husband Bob all of Jacksonville, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and one son, Danny Joe Lewis; two sisters, Kate Coultas, Ellen Black; four brothers, James E. Lewis, John W. Lewis, Lyle D. Lewis and Everett Lee Lewis. In his younger years, he worked and lived in St. Louis, Mo. Later, he farmed east of Winchester, Ill. for six years before moving to Morgan County where he farmed southwest of Jacksonville, Ill. retiring in 1978. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, Ill. He pitched horseshoes throughout the area. He loved baseball and played on a recreational league while living in St. Louis, Mo. and was an avid Cardinal fan. He also did woodworking. But his greatest love was visiting with family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday (December 2, 2002) at the Coonrod Funeral Home in Winchester, Ill. with Rev. Bruce Pilcher officiating. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery in Winchester, Ill.. Friends may call from noon until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Jacksonville Youth Elks Baseball, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, or to the Jacksonville Sportsman’s Club.
Velma Eileen Lewis (Lawless)
Velma Eileen Lewis, 82, of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday morning (February 13, 2002) at Skyview Terrace in Jacksonville.
She was born December 29, 1919 east of Winchester the daughter of the late Roy E. and Mary F. Fletcher Lawless.
She married J. Reed Lewis October 12, 1938 in Clayton, Missouri.
She attended Hart School and Winchester High School. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm.
Mrs. Lewis was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, she was also a member of the Hart Community Club. She truly loved spending time with her grandchildren, she also loved flowers and animals.
Surviving is her husband Reed Lewis of Jacksonville, a daughter Carol (husband Don) Mason of Roodhouse and a son Darrell (wife Betty) Lewis of Jacksonville. 4 grandchildren also survive.
Preceding her in death was a son Danny Joe Lewis.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday (February 15, 2002) at the Coonrod Funeral Home in Winchester.
Burial will be in the Winchester City Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 2:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home where the family will meet with friends.

Mrs. Frances W. Liehr (Walker)
Frances W. Liehr, age 89, of Springfield, Ill. and formerly of Perry, Ill. died 2 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 8, 2002) at Lewis Memorial Christian Village in Springfield, Ill. She was born July 20, 1913 on the family farm near Perry, Ill. daughter of the late Russell and Florence Dorsey Walker. She married Leonard Liehr on April 2, 1938 in Perry, Ill. and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2001. Surviving is one son, David R. Liehr and wife Judith of Springfield, Ill.; two grandchildren, Heather Goldsberry and Benjamin “Alex” Liehr both of Springfield, Ill.; two great-grandchildren, Devan and Coltan Allen Goldsberry of Springfield, Ill.; one brother, James Walker of Louisville, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one son; and two sisters, Algerine Simpson and Theresa Meyers. Mrs. Liehr attended Dexter School near Perry, Ill an was a 1931 graduate of Perry High School in Perry, Ill. She was a member of the Parkway Church of Christ in Springfield, Ill. and was a past Sunday school teacher who held Bible story times in her home for the neighborhood children. She was a member of the Meredosia Women’s Club, a past Girl Scout leader, and had taught First Aid for the American Red Cross. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 11, 2002) at the Airsman-Hires Chapel in Griggsville, Ill. with Bro. Wayne Hammitt officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery in Perry, Ill.. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Perry Cemetery Association.
Mr. Francis O. Liming
Francis O. “Pug” Liming, 97, of Jacksonville died Saturday afternoon, January 19, 2002 at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville. He was born on April 23, 1904 in Jacksonville the son of Issac March and Evelyn Gilliland Liming. He married Stella M. Miller in 1936 in Jacksonville and they were married for over 66 years. She preceded him in death on September 14, 2001.
He is survived by one daughter, Louise (husband, Ed) Castleberry of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren, one step-grandchild, fourteen great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, and one brother, Andy Liming of Decatur. He was preceded in death by two sons, Herbert Liming and Roy Liming; three brothers, Harry, Ray, and Earl; and two sisters, Edna and Lucille.
Mr. Liming was a packer at J.Capps and Sons for 48 years. He enjoyed riding his bicycle and playing pool. He attended Centenary United Methodist Church in Jacksonville.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2002 at Jacksonville East Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 2 to 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday at the Williamson Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the family.
