Memorial services for Sonya M. Burget, daughter of John Gadberry and sister of Sarah Meyer, both of Litchfield, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Methodist Church at Illiopolis. The remains will be cremated. Bisch and Son Funeral Home, Sppringfield, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Burget died Monday, November 22, 1999, in Illiopolis. She was 37 years old on September 14. She was born in Jacksonville, a daughter of John and Marie Gentry Gadberry. She married Robert Allen Burget in 1984 in Beardstown. He survives. Surviving also are a daughter, Jennifer Leigh and a son, David Allen at home; brothers, Wade Gadberry of Virden, Wyatt Gadberry of Auburn.
Burk, Ada
Ada Burk, grandmother of Chris White of Litchfield, died at 3:45 a.m. Monday, October 19, 1998, in Bethalto Care Center. She was 94 years old on May 9. She was born in White County, a daughter of Charles and Sarah Emiline Justice Dickey. She married Frank Burk on March 26, 1966, in East Alton. He died November 9, 1978. Surviving are a daughter, Jewell Glendola Diveley of Bunker Hill and many grandchildren. Preceding her in death were a son, Charles White; daughter, Mabel Thomas; brothers, William and Homer Dickey and sisters, Flora Huston and Sylvia Hand. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Paynic Home of Funerals in Rosewood Heights. Services will be held there at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Maul Miller officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Park, Godfrey.

Memorial service for John M. Burr will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, New Albany, Ind. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Litchfield. Seabrook, Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Home in New Albany is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Burr, of Lanesville, Ind., died Monday, February 15, 1999, in his home. He was 76 years old, and an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was an art teacher for the New Albany Floyd County School Corporation before he retired. He also worked as a picture framer for Preston's Art Supplies and as a clerk at Wells Hardware store in New Albany. He was born in Norwalk, Conn., a son of John Gould and Betty Field Burr. Surviving are daughters, Sally Hussung, Jane Pirtle, both of Lanesville, Ind., Mary Peterson of Fairfax, Va.; brothers, Allan Burr of Norwalk, Paul Burr of Massachusetts; and seven grandchildren.

Memorial service for Donald A. Burris, Sr., of Staunton, will be held at noon Tuesday in Williamson Funeral Home there with the Rev. Clint Braman officiating. The remains were cremated. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from one hour before the service. Mr. Burris died at 3:30 p.m. Friday in his home. He was 63 years old on January 22. He resided in Staunton for the past 12 years and was a caster with Olin Corporation in East Alton. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Burris and his marriage ended in divorce. Surviving are daughters, Brenda Gurley and husband Pat of Wood River, Cindy Stewart and husband Jon of Staunton, Shelia Schoettle and husband Norman of Staunton, Judy Molinar of Staunton; sons Donald Burris, Jr. of Springfield, Virgil Burris of Staunton; brother, Richard Burris and wife Edelgard of Godfrey; step parents, Naomi and George Middleton of Alton; 15 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.

Mr. Burris, of DesPlaines, died Wednesday, November 25, 1998, in Holy Family Medical Center there. He was 52 years old on October 24. He was a machinist at Precision Instruments in DesPlaines, and an avid fisherman and reader. He was born in Hardin, a son of Charles and Theressa Gress Burris, and graduated from Hillsboro High School. He married Katherine S. Burval on September 18, 1976, in the New Hope Baptist Church in rural Litchfield. She survives. Surviving also are brothers, Charles A. Burris and wife Maureen of Ganite City, Ron Burris and wife Shiela, Larry D. Burris and wife Barbara, all of Hardin; sisters, Marylou Blackwell of Hardin, Barbara Lucykow of Livingston and Doris Zumwalt and husband Howard of Litchfield. A brother, Jimmy Wilson, preceded him in death.

Bill Dewain Burroughs, of rural Sorento, died Sunday, June 29, 1998, in his home. He was 39 years old on February 5. He was an upholsterer for Harris Upholsterers in St. Louis. Surviving are his father, William Dewain Burroughs of Bonne Terre, Mo.; mother and stepfather, Delores Ann Grayson and Gene Davey of rural Sorento; brothers, Rick of Granite City and Mike of rural Sorento. Service was held Wednesday at graveside in Brown Cemetery, Old Ripley.

Funeral Mass for Grace Marie Burrow, of Coffeen, will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John's Catholic Church there by the Rev. Father Carl Schmidt. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Toberman Funeral Home, Coffeen. The family suggests memorials be directed to Masses or to the Coffeen Senior Citizens. Mrs. Burrow died Tuesday, April 27, 1999, in Hillsboro Hospital. She was 92 years old last May 31. She was a member of St. John's Church, the Altar Society of the church, the Coffeen Senior Citizens and the Senior Citizens of Montgomery County. She was born in Hawk Point, Mo., a daughter of James and Agnes Laura Martinek Strother. She married Cecil Burrow on June 8, 1946, in St. Louis. He died April 8, 1977. Surviving are sisters, Pauline Christopher, Harriet Dobberstein, both of St. Louis and Georgia Dobberstein of Arlington, Texas. Preceding her in death were brothers, Paul and Martin Strother and a sister, Beatrice Miller.

Survivors include a son, Larry Busby of Litchfield and a daughter, Martha Eckhart of East Hampton, N.J. Services for Orville L. "Lucky" Busby, of Litchfield, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Plummer Funeral Home with Mike Bates, pastor of Litchfield Southern Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Mr. Busby died at 7:56 a.m. Sunday, September 27, 1998, in St. Francis Hospital. He was 70 years old on March 31, and a Navy veteran of both World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a river boat captain and had worked for the Ohio River Company, Twin City Barge and Towing and Material Service Corporation. He was a member of Litchfield Southern Baptist Church and the Marine Officers Association of St. Louis. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and camping. He was born near Green ville in Bond County, a son of Harry and Lurinda Parton Busby. He married Audrey Marion Rowe on December 13, 1952. She died March 25, 1987. He then married Nancy Lawson in September 1987, and they were later divorced. Surviving are a son, Larry Busby of Litchfield; a daughter, Martha Eckhardt and husband John of East Hampton, N.J.; a sister, Crena Payne of Green ville; and a granddaughter, Shannon Leigh Eckhardt. Preceding him in death were an infant son, George Rowe Busby and a brother, Harry Maurice Austin Busby. Services for Orville L. "Lucky" Busby, of Litchfield, were held at 10:30 this morning in Plummer Funeral Home. Mike Bates, pastor of Litchfield Southern Baptist Church, officiated. Mike and Barb Bates sang "My Lord Is Near Me All the Time." Other musical selections were "Amazing Grace," "The Lord Is My Shepherd" and "Navy Hymn." Memorial Mass for Marilyn F. Buscher, formerly of Litchfield, will be offered at noon Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church by the Rev. Father Dave Schmidt. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Ms Buscher died at 12:15 a.m. July 8, 1999, in Presbyterian - St. Lukes Hospital, Denver, Colo. She was a graduate of Litchfield High School and Denver University. Licensed and active in the Denver real estate community since 1980, she joined Distinctive Properties, Ltd., in 1988. She served for many years on the Denver Board of Realtors and was a consistent member of the Million Dollar Roundtable. She was born in Litchfield, a daughter of Mrs. Virginia Buscher and the late J. Paul Buscher. Surviving besides her mother are a sister, Maureen Meyers and family, Larry, Laura, Michelle, Meghan and Michael of Edwardsville; brother, John Paul Buscher of Shelbyville and son, Aaron Buscher of Phoenix, Ariz. Others surviving include a special friend, David Durstine. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Holy Family Building Fund or the Montgomery County Chapter of the American Cancer Society. Services for Vincent George Bushmiller, of Mt. Olive, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Becker and Son Funeral Home there with the Rev. Matthew Woodcock officiating. Olive Ambulance or the First United Methodist Church. Mr. Bushmiller died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday, July 11, 1999, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. He was 85 years old on March 14. He was employed by Franklin Research Company in Chicago until his retirment. While residing in Chicago he served as treasurer for Grace Bible and was Sunday school superintendnent and Bible School teacher there. In Mt. Olive, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church, former chairman of the board there, head of the Chapman Cemetery Improvement Fund, member of Mt. Olive Senior Citizens and the Mt. Olive Civic Center. He was born in Mt. Olive, a son of Charles and Anna Masky Bushmiller, and graduated from Mt. Olive High School in 1932. He married Amy Hendrickson on August 22, 1935, in Chicago. She survives. Surviving also are sons, Vincent Charles Bushmiller and wife Elberta of Lexington, Ky., Richard Joseph Bushmiller and wife Linda of Morrison, Colo.; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were brothers, Wilbert, Winamore and Felix Bushmiller. Following the services on Wednesday a lunch will be served to family and friends in the Methodist Hall by women of the church. Services for Vincent George Bushmiller, of Mt. Before moving to Miami in 1972, he was affiliated with Buske Lines of Litchfield and Warsaw, Ind. In Miami he worked for CSR American, Inc., and retired last March after 26 years of service. He was a member of the King Lutheran Church in Miami. He was an Army veteran, having served from 1955 to 1957. He was born in Litchfield, a son of Edwin H. and Alvina Weishaupt Buske. He married Ruth Walz on October 27, 1956, in sttaunton. She survives. Surviving also are a son, Scott Buske of Arlington, Texas; daughters, Susan Hines and husband James of Tallahassee, Fla., Sally Buske of Arlington, Texas; brother, Glenn Buske and wife Velma of Maryville; sisters, Jean Vasel and husband William of Litchfield; and one grandchild, Cheyenne Hines of Tallahassee. Mr. Busonic, of Tovey, died Monday, January 18, 1999, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. He was 82 years old on January 12. He was a coal miner with Peabody Coal Mine 10, retiring in 1978 after 50 years of service. Before going to work at the mine, he was employed at a steel mill in the Chicago area. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He was born in Benld, a son of Mike and Verona Kosak Busonic. He married Frances M. Szaina in 1939 in St. Louis. She died in 1998. Surviving are a son, Michael Busonic of Nashville; daughters, Gloria Chalacoff, Sheila Frazier, both of Kincaid, Vickey Ginger of Taylorville; other sisters, Margaret Ban, Betty Sanders, both of St. Louis.; nine grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Glenn R. Butler, formerly of Hillsboro, died November 9, 1999, in Dallas, Texas. A resident of Richardson, Texas, since 1963, he was 68 years old on April 27 and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. born in Hillsboro, he graduated in 1965 from the University of Oklahoma and worked for the Internal Revenue Service before retiring in 1981. Surviving are his wife, Donna; sons, Craig, Gary, Grant Butler, all of Richardson; brothers, Harold and Richard Butler of Decatur, Jim Butler of Hillsboro; and one granddaughter, Serena. Services were held in Dallas with burial in the Restland Memorial Park.

Mr. Butts died at 3:18 p.m. Friday, March 12, 1999, in St. Francis Hospital. He was 66 years old on January 4, and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. A life resident of Litchfield, he was a carpenter by trade and had worked for Clarence Tschannen, Litchfield, and was a union carpenter with Alexander Lumber Company. He retired in 1990. He was a member of the Litchfield Southern Baptist Church and Carpenters Local 725 in Litchfield. He was born in Litchfield, a son of George Henry and Matilda Frances Riemenschneider Butts. He married Dolores Jane Saathoff on December 15, 1956, in Hernando, Miss. She survives. Surviving also are daughters, Linda Stepp and husband Wallace of Springfield, Phyllis Jenkins and husband Rick of Carlinville; brothers, Kenneth Butts and wife June of Mountain View, Calif., Marvin Butts and wife Mickey of Big Spring, Texas, Virgil Butts and wife Mary of Litchfield; sister, Mildred Saathoff of Litchfield; four grandchildren, Heather Otto and Ricky Jenkins II, both of Carlinville, David and Nathan Kalaskie, both of Springfield. preceding him in death was an infant sister, Helen. Services for Wayne Ray Butts, of Litchfield, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Plummer Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Bates of the Litchfield Southern Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. Musical selections were "Face to Face" and "Just a Closer Walk with Thee." Pallbearers were Harold Ellinger, Bill Hahnenkamp, Boyd Lively, John Riemann, Pat Timmons and John White, all of Litchfield. Full military rites were conducted at graveside by members of the American Legion Post 436 and VFW Post 3912. Participating from the American Legion were Will Tackaberry, post commander, Lee Baker, Bill Bates and Bill Rogers. Participating from the VFW were Dave Allen, Larry Heisman, V.C. Chasteen, Corky Parton, Jim Benton and Phillip Burdell. Dave Allen presented the flag to Mrs. Dolores Butts. Adam Roach played "Taps." Following the services a luncheon was provided for family and friends by the women of the Litchfield Southern Baptist Church. Mr. Butts, 66, died Friday, March 12, in St. Francis Hospital.

Wayne T. Cain, husband of a former Litchfield resident, died September 15, 1998. He was a resident of Neoga and owner of Cain Roofing in Champaign. He was 72 years old on June 1. Surviving are his wife, the former Doris Cress, daughter of the late Wesley and Mary Cress who resided here for many years; their children, Michael Cain, Patricia Simko, Bill Cain, Darlene Simko and Roche Cain; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A brother preceded him in death. Funeral Mass was said Thursday in St. Matthew Catholic Church, Champaign. Burial was the Ivesdale Cemetery.

Mrs. Calcott died at 12:42 this morning, Wednesday, January 6, 1999, in St. Francis Hospital. She was 96 years old on June 4. She was the church secretary for many years and a member of the Litchfield Southern Baptist Church. She was born south of Womac in Macoupin County, a daughter of Jesse Clement and Rosa Ella Perrine Mitchell. Her first husband, Orin Edwin Joiner, whom she married on March 1, 1922, in Hillsboro, died December 22, 1963. She married Clinton Calcott on March 3, 1971, in Litchfield. He died January 10, 1980. Surviving are two step daughters, Dorothy West and husband George of Litchfield, Laverne Bullock and husband Charles of Oxnard, Calif.; a brother, Floyd "Bob" Mitchell of Litchfield; a sister, Nina Sellers of Taylorville; nine step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were a brother, Marvel Mitchell; two half brothers, James and Scovel Loveless; and two sisters, Nona Crawford and Lina "Dolly" Fuller. Services for Anna Marie Calcott, of Litchfield, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Meinschein Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Bates officiated. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. She was an Avon dealer for many years and in March would have reached her 25th anniversary with the company. She was born in St. Louis, one of nine children of Staneslaw "Stanley" and Catherine Koper Komor who immigrated to America from Poland in 1905. She was married twice, both husbands preceding her in death. She and her first husband, Edward Kowalski, were wed on July 9, 1934. They had two daughters, Shirley, wife of Marvin Hawley of Litchfield and Dolores M., wife of William Ranger of Gillespie. Mr. Kowalski died in 1940. On March 6, 1943, she married Perlie H. Calcott. They had two sons, William P. Calcott and wife Amy of Litchfield and Robert H. Calcott and wife Trudy of Edwardsville. Surviving besides her four children are sisters, Sophia Murphy of Creve Couer, Mo., Eleanor Nikonowicz of O'Fallon, Mo., Rose Pollard of Litchfield; a brother, Frank Komor of Litchfield; 14 grandchildren and 17great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were sisters, Stella Przyzycki in 1973 and Angela Hayes in 1983; and two brothers in infancy. Funeral Mass for Mary Calcott, of Litchfield, was said at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Holy Family Catholic Church. The Rev. Father David Schmidt presided with her great grandchildren, Robbie and Natalie Albrecht, as servers. Placing the pall were her granddaughters, Shelley Calcott and Brenda Albrecht. Madelon Sophir was the reader. Bearers of gifts preceding the Communion were her nieces, Brittany Ranger and Bobbie Williamson. Ministers of Eucharist were Mary Thunhorst and Sr. Rosella Uding. She was born in Italy, a daughter of Floriano and Anna Cannestrini Angeli. Her husband, Basil Caldini, preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Floyd Caldini and wife Anna Mae of Mt. Prospect; grandchildren, Mary Kay McMahon of Mt. Prospect, Claire Caldini of Arlington Heights; and a great grandson, Neil McMahon. Preceding her in death were a son, Ettore Caldini; brothers, Romano and Archangeli Angeli; sisters, Maria Tarter, Armeda Zampiero and Rosa.

Services for Georgia Combs Caldwell, of Benld, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Landers Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, with the Rev. LeRoy Fahnestook officiating. Burial will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Mrs. Caldwell died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 1998, in Carlinville Area Hospital. She was 60 years old on July 13. She was born in Ridgeway, a daughter of Elvis Earl and Carrie Nellie Kelly Combs. Surviving are a son, Randy Caldwell of Staunton; daughters, Melody Smith of Bunker Hill, Jessie Lyons of Gillespie; sisters, Mary Ann Thomas, Kathleen Nelson, both of California, Earline Birch of Wood River, Frances Holbrook of Elsah and Sheila Ogas of Arizona; grandchildren, Randy Caldwell, Hannah Smith, Shafer Smith, Haley Smith, Bobby Lyons, Kasie Lyons, Sylvia Lyons. Preceding her in death was a brother, Clarence Bud Combs.

Services for Norma R. Caldwell, formerly of Nokomis and Morrisonville, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hough Colonial Home, Morrisonville, with the Rev. Randy Perry officiating. Miss Caldwell, of Taylorville, died Monday, October 19, 1998, in St. Vincent's Hospital, Taylorville. She was 72 years old on February 28. She was born in Morrisonville, a daughter of Leaon and Goldie Mae Green Caldwell. Surviving are a brother, Donald Caldwell and wife Alberta of Taylorville along with five nieces and nephews. A brother preceded her in death.
Calvert, Chester L.
Memorial service for Chester L. Calvert, of Staunton, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Williamson Funeral Home there with the Rev. R.E. George officiating. The remains were cremated. Family will receive friends in the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Calvert died at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 1998, in Heritage Manor of Staunton. He was 70 years old on January 11, and a Navy veteran with service from 1945 to 1949. He worked for Emerson Electric in St. Louis for 25 years, retiring in 1991 as a quality control supervisor. He was born in Gorham, a son of Eugene and Hilda Webb Calvert. He married Sylvia Duke on December 7, 1969. She died March 30, 1998. Surviving are daughters, Crystal Calvert of Staunton, Carla Calvert Altermott of Benld; son, Michael Calvert of Culpeper, Va.; brothers, Audie Calvert of Kentland, Ind., Robert Calvert of Midlothian, Donald Ray Calvert of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Sarah Altermott of Benld, Matthew Dawson of Shiloh; and six great grandchildren.
Cameron, David W.
No services are being planned at this time for David William Cameron, of Hillsboro. His remains have been donated to Washington University, St. Louis, for scientific study. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Patton Memorial Home. Mr. Cameron died at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 1999, in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield. He was 80 years old on December 5, and an Army veteran of World War II. A resident of the Hillsboro area for most of his life, he worked as a machine operator at Hillsboro Glass Factory for 35 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 1306 in Hillsboro. He was born in Witt, a son of Maple Benjamin and Anna Weigand Cameron. He married Betty Shryock on September 25, 1948, in Hillsboro. She survives. Surviving also are sons, Clark Cameron and wife Stacy of Hillsboro, Mike Cameron and wife Connie of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Judy Traylor and husband Gene of Irving; brother, Gene Cameron and wife Colleen of Schram City; sisters, Barbara DeLong of Arkansas, Myrtle Helzer of Gillette, Wy.; four grandchildren, Tammy Richardson, Terry Traylor, Justin and Carly Cameron. Preceding him in death were brothers, Maple "Fat," Ralph, Clyde and Louis "Gab" Cameron and a sister, Louise Buch.
Campbell, Harold L.
Harold L. Campbell, formerly of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, September 1, 1998, in Schenectady, N.Y., while at work. He was 58 years old on June 21. He was employed by the State University of New York as a food service manager. He also played tuba for a Dixieland band for many years and was a member of the Albany Musicians Union. He was born in Hillsboro, a son of Frank and Lucille Campbell, and graduated from Hillsboro High School where he also participated in band. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Ann Russo; sons, Kirk Campbell of Lemoyne, Pa., Craig S. CAmpbell of Harleysville, Pa.; step sons, Laurence and Eric Gregory of Hudson, N.Y., Timothy Gregory of Syracuse, N.Y.; his mother, Lucille Campbell Wilson of Hillsboro; brothers, Robert Campbell of Hillsboro, Dan Campbell of Auburn and Cahrles Campbell of Coffeen; sisters, Mary of Mt. Olive and Doris of Hillsboro. Services were held in New York.

Dr. Cannon died at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 1998, in the Regency Nursing Care Center. He was 80 years old last October 17, and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was an oral surgeon and in 1956, invented the first electric tooth brush. He was a member of the St. John's Hospital staff. He was a member of the GB Black Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, board of directors of the Illinois Standard Order Breeders Association, U.S. Trotters Association and the Knights of Columbus. He was a graduate of Cathedral Boys High School, where he was a boxing champion, and from St. Louis University Dental School in the class of 1940. He was born in Litchfield, a son of Joseph F. and Ella Strueber Cannon. He married Helen Thompson on April 25, 1942, in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Springfield. She survives. Surviving also are a son, John F. Cannon Jr. of Chicago; daughters, Patricia "Trinket" Eckler of St. Charles, Kathy Maslouski of Springfield; a sister, Rita Christine of Springfield; five grandchildren and a great grandson.
Carey, Clair E.
Clair E. Carey, of Green ville, a professor of Mathematics at Green ville College and former chairman of the Math department, died Sunday, December 27, 1998, in Fair Oaks Nursing Home there. He was 97 years old on November 18. He retired from Green ville College in 1971 after spending 24 years as chairman of the Mathematics department. He was born in Franklin, Pa., a son of Charles Burton and Carrie Arminta Walford Carey. He married Dorothy Allison on June 28, 1933, in Punxsatawney, Pa. She died April 10, 1960. He married Gyneth M. Herstine on June 15, 1962, in Green ville. She survives. Surviving also are a son, Charles Boyd Carey of Spring Arbor, Mich.; a daughter, Phyllis Jean Carey of Madison, Wis.; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were three brothers and five sisters. Services were held Wednesday in Green ville with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery there.

Services for Steve Carlock, of Taylor Springs, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Patton Memorial Home, Hillsboro, with the Rev. Ernest Flowers officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery at Fillmore. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be directed to a college trust fund for his son, Dustin Carlock. Mr. Carlock died at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, February 23, 1999, in St. Louis University Hospital. He was 42 years old on January 10. He worked at the Capri IGA in Hillsboro for nearly 20 years, and was always very considerate and helpful to shoppers. He was a member of UFCW Local 655. He had resided in Taylor Springs for the past 14 years. He was born in Fillmore, a son of Bill and Darlene Lipe Carlock, and graduated from Nokomis High School in 1975. He married Angel Lansing on September 6, 1980, in Fillmore. They were later divorced. Surviving are a son, Dustin Carlock of Taylor Springs; a daughter, Jodi Turner and husband Jessie of Frederick, Md.; his parents of Fillmore; brothers, Brian Carlock and wife Tamie, Mark Carlock and wife Catherine, all of Fillmore; and two grandchildren, Dylan and Shawn Turner of Frederick.
