Services for Shirley M. Kuethe, of Staunton, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Zion Lutheran Church of Staunton with the Rev. Leslie J. Mitkos officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in Williamson Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Zion Lutheran Church of Staunton. Mrs. Kuethe died at 7:52 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 1999, in Staunton Memorial Hospital. She was 70 years old on January 12. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Staunton and the Concordia Ladies. She was born in Livingston, a daughter of Glen and Clara Salter Grange. She married Kenneth Kuethe on October 22, 1950, in St. John's Methodist Church, Edwardsville. He survives. Surviving also are sons, Terry of Holiday Shores, Larry and wife Monica of Brighton, Kevin and wife Peggy, Brian and wife Debbie and Mike and wife Kayla, all of Staunton; a sister, Florence Blotevogel of Troy; eight grandchildren and one great grandson. Preceding her in death was a sister, Rosalie Kayser.

Kuhn, Grace I.

Grace Irene Kuhn, sister of Rodell Huddleston of Nokomis, died Wednesday, October 6, 1999, in Decatur Memorial Hospital. She was 79 years old on January 17. She was born in Velma, a daughter of Vollie and Ada Smith Huddleston. She married Everett Emil Kuhn on October 30, 1941, in St. Charles, Mo. He died November 7, 1998. Surviving are sons, Everett V. Kuhn of Oreana, Lloyd R. Kuhn of Springfield, Wayne Kuhn of Pana; and several grandchildren, including Kenneth Kuhn of Nokomis. Services were held Saturday in Pana with burial in Ohlman Cemetery

Kuklis, Genevieve D.

Services for Genevieve Dmytryk Kuklis, of Arvada, Colo., will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Dormition Church, Benld, with the Very Rev. Paul Waters officiating. Burial will be in Holy Dormition Cemtery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in Kravanya Funeral Home, Benld. Panikhida service will be held at 7 p.m. Mrs. Kuklis died at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 1999, in Exempla Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colo. She was 76 years old on November 12, and a Navy veteran of World War II. She had resided in Arvada since 1971 and was employed as a secretary for a telecommunications firm before she retired. She was born in Benld, a daughter of Michael and Mary Rydgig Dmytryk. Her husband, Edward M. Kuklis died February 18, 1996. Surviving are a brother, William Dmytryk of St. Augustine, Fla., and sisters, Irene Krend of Lemoora, Calif., and Lucille Adams of Benld. A brother, Harold Dmytryk, preceded her in death.

Kulenkamp, David Kenneth

David Kenneth Kulenkamp, brother of Ruth Clayton of Irving, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, August 29, in Torrance, California. He was 54 years old last October 12, and a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War. Son of Kenneth W. and Emily Harris Kulenkamp, he was employed as a lab technician for a paint and glass factory in California. He worked there for 31 years. Surviving are brothers, William Kulenkamp of Carlinville, John Kulenkamp of Milford, N.H.; three other sisters, Clara Garlich of Pugent Lake, Minn., Dorothy Kulenkamp of Alton, Peggy Udinsky of Carlinville. Graveside services were held September 26 in the Shipman Cemetery.

Kulenkamp, Ina M.

Services for Ina Mae Kulenkamp, of Gillespie, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Kravanya Funeral Home there with the Rev. H. Christopher Sheets officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Carlinville. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today in Kravanya Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Kidney Foundation. Mrs. Kulenkamp died at 10:50 p.m. Friday, August 13, 1999, in St. John's Mercy Hospital, St. Louis. She was 66 years old on May 14. She was a resident of Gillespie for the past 29 years and worked at Bernhardt's restaurant in Gillespie before she retired. She was born in Modesto, a daughter of Walter Dale and Thelma Mae Coonrod Goode. She married Ralph R. Kulenkamp on February 3, 1956, in Carlinville. He survives. Surviving also are a son, Ralph "Kim" Kulenkamp and wife Sabrina of Gillespie; daughter, Lisa Heyen and husband John of Gillespie; brother, Walter Goode of Gillespie; sisters, Shelba Smith and husband Tom of Pittsfield, Connie Simmons and husband Bob of Branson, Mo.; and six grandchildren.

Kulick, Gage V.

Private graveside service for Gage Viseur Kulick, infant son of Brian and Renee Kulick, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Father John Schmidt officiating. The baby was born at 9:08 p.m. Friday, April 16, 1999, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, and died about 20 minutes later. He weighed 14 ounces and was approximately in the 21st week of gestation. Surviving besides his parents are grandparents Don and Renate Viseur of Litchfield and Ken and Carol Kulick of Oak Lawn. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis, was in charge of funeral arrangements.

Kuncl III, Charles F.

Graveside services for Charles F. Kuncl III, formerly of Litchfield, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Scotia, Neb., with the Rev. Melanie Adams officiating. Ord Memorial Chapel, Ord, Neb., is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Kuncl died Wednesday, May 5, 1999, in Spartanburg, S.C. He was 66 years old on January 30. He worked for Illinois Power Company for 34 years, and retired in 1989 as district manager. Litchfield was his final post with the company. He continued to reside here after his retirement and worked as the city's economic development director from November 1990 until August 1991. He was also a member of the Industiral Planning Commission, the Rotary Club and the Presbyterian Church of Litchfield. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with a bachelor's degree in 1955. That same year, he married, moved to Sparta and began working for Illinois Power. He was also drafted that year and stationed in Monterey, Calif. After his discharge in 1957, he returned to work for Illinois Power. He was first sent to Clinton where he stayed a short time then he was transferred to Ottawa where he stayed two years. He was next sent to Sparta where he lived for 10 years before moving to Litchfield in 1978. He was born in Omaha, Neb., a son of Charles, Jr., and Lillian Young Kuncl. He married Marcia Ann Gebhardt on September 3, 1955. She died August 7, 1989. Surviving are a son, David Kuncl of Chicago; daughter, Patricia Moss of Spartanburg, S.C.; and three grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Patrick Kuncl.

Kurfiss, Jr., Lenny V.

Services for Lenny V. Kurfiss, Jr., of Hillsboro, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hough and Sons Funeral Home there with the Revs. James Howie and Ed Diveley officiating. Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery, Hillsboro. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Hillsboro High School football program. Mr. Kurfiss was pronounced dead at 3:45 p.m. Friday, November 26, 1999, following an explosion in a machine shed where he had been working on his parents property in rural Hillsboro. He was 35 years old on March 9. He was a self-employed mechanic and auto body repairman. He was a member of the 1981 Hillsboro High School football team and graduated from the school the following spring. He was a member of the Waveland Presbyterian Church. he was born in Hillsboro, a son of Lenny and Joyce Bandy Kurfiss. He married Georgia Lynch on September 18, 1993. She survives. Surviving also are a daughter, Lindsay Kurfiss of Litchfield; step children, Justin Reynolds and Jessica Reynolds of Hillsboro; his parents, Lenny and Joyce Kurfiss; brother, Larry Kurfiss of Hillsboro; sisters, Lynn Kurfiss of Hillsboro, Lea Pennington of New Paris, Ohio; grandmother, Lueva Fraley Bandy of Harvel.

Services for Anna LaBroscian, of Witt, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Barbara's Catholic Church there with the Rev. Father Pat Jakel officiating. Burial will be in St. Barbara's Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Stiehl�Dawson Funeral Home. Prayer service will be held at 5:45 p.m. Mrs. LaBroscian died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 1998, in her home. She was 76 years old on June 16. She was a bakery employee before she retired, and a member of St. Barbara's church. She was born in Witt, a daughter of Stephen and Catherine Benya Vavrek. She married Frank LaBroscian in 1946, in Cicero. Surviving are sons, James J. LaBroscian of Crestwood and Robert J. LaBroscian of Bartlett; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Preceding her in death were brothers, Steve, Mike, George and John Vavrek and sisters, Helen Toschak and Kate Sokal.

Lachowicz, Leonard S.

Services for Leonard S. Lachowicz, of Plainview, were held at 11 a.m. today in Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie. Burial was in Union Miners Cemetery, Mt. Olive. The family suggests memorials be directed to SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church or VFW Post 4547, Gillespie. Mr. Lachowicz died at 11:15 p.m. Friday, November 19, 1999, in St. Francis Hospital. He was 83 years old on September 7, and an Amry veteran of World War II. He was a bus driver for the Chicago Transit System for many years before his retirement. He was a member of VFW Post 4547, Gillespie, lifetime member of Moose Lodge 1 in metropolitan Chicago and lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He was born in Chicago, a son of Anthony and Agnes Genge Lachowitz, and never married. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were brothers, Harold and Sylvester Lachowicz, Theodore and Sigfried Lackie and Robert Rodney; and sisters, Cecilia Korunka, Josephine Sykora and Stella Lachowicz.

LaFuria, Mike

Serivces for Mike LaFuria, of Coffeen, were held at 1:30 this afternoon in Becker and Son Funeral Home, Mt. Olive. The Rev. Ron Tucker of the Coffeen Free Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Mt. Olive City Cemetery. Musical selections were "How Great Thou Art," "My Jesus I Love Thee" and "Trust and Obey." Soloist and pianist was Rosemary Messner. Pallbearers were John Bone, Jeff Bone, Steven Bone, Daryl White, Albert Glagg, Mack McCloughan, Dan Frizzo and Dan Millick. Following the services a lunch was provided for family and friends in the First United Methodist Church Hall by the women of the church. Mr. LaFuria died at 11:15 a.m. Friday, November 6, 1998, in Montgomery Health Care Center, Taylor Springs. He was 82 years old on November 9, and an Army veteran of World War II having served as a Medic. He was a coal miner before he retired and life member of the Yurkovich Beck American Legion Post 594 in Mt. Olive. He attended Benld Public Schools. He was born in Arma, Kansas, a son of Mike and Christina Cardaradi LaFuria. He married Roberta Osborn LaFuria on Janury 3, 1942, in the Methodist Parsonage in Mt. Olive. She survives. Surviving also are a son, Denny LaFuria and wife Betty of Arenzville. Preceding him in death were four brothers, Sam, Louis, Roy and Phillip LaFuria and a sister, Frances Taylor. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Mt. Olive Ambulance Service.

LaFond, Anna M.

Anna Margaret LaFond, formerly of Hillsboro, died Thursday, July 22, 1999, in Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village. born in Hillsboro, she was 84 years old on March 25. She was a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur for 22 years before retiring in 1981. Surviving are sons, John LaFond of Chapin, S.C., Stephen LaFond of Aurora; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her husband, John V. LaFond, preceded her in death. Services were held in Naperville with the Beidelman - Kunsch Funeral Home in charge. Interment was private.

Lair, Grace E.

Services for Grace E. Lair, of Girard, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Davis Anderson Funeral Home there with the Rev. Jim Norman officiating. Burial will be in Girard Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. Mrs. Lair died at 9:40 a.m. Monday, January 4, 1999, in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield. She would have been 81 years old on January 11. She was a beautician for more than 45 years, working in her home for most of the time. She was a member of the Nilwood Southern Baptist Church. She was born in Dubois, a daughter of Rollo and Margaret Kroeger Qualls. She married Paul E. Lair in November 1936, in Girard. He survives. Surviving also are sons, Norman Lair and wife Nancy of Marseilles, Lynn P. Lair and wife Sandra of Chatham; brothers, Gene Qualls, Roland Qualls, both of Mesquite, Texas; sisters, Irene Schott of Girard, Rachel Ritchie of Springfield, Esther West of Hettick. Preceding her in death were brothers, Raymond Qualls, Ralph Qualls and in infancy, James Dean Qualls; sisters, Vivian King and Donna Waring.

Lakamp, Freda M.

Freda M. Lakamp, formerly of of Hillsboro, died Saturday, February 27, 1999, in Barton W. Stone Christian Home at Jacksonville. She was 96 years old on January 5. Miss Lakamp was a registered nurse with the Montgomery County Health Department for several years. She was also a member of the Republican Women, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. She was a recipient of the Service to Mankind award in Hillsboro. She was born in Jacksonville, a daughter of Gust and Anna Tholen Lakamp. Surviving are brothers, Edwin, Clarence and Herman Lakamp and a sister, Kathryn Lakamp, all of Chapin. Services will be held in Chapin at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery.

Lancaster, Zelma B.

Services for Zelma B. Lancaster, of rural Gillespie, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Kravanya Funeral Home there with the Rev. Dennis Hill officiating. Burial will be in Girard City Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Benld Nutrition Center of the Gillespie - Benld Ambulance Service. Mrs. Lancaster died at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 1999, in St. Francis Hospital. She was 93 years old on May 26. She was born in Shaws Point Township of Macoupin County, a daughter of Carson and Ethel Gates Besanceney. She married Paul R. Lancaster on February 18, 1925, in Litchfield. He died March 4, 1988. Surviving are a son, William Lancaster and wife Daisy of Gillespie; daughters, Marjorie Leefers and husband James D. of Carlinville; sisters, Reba Hart of Peoria, Verna Bowles of Litchfield; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Others surviving include a daughter in law, Naomi Lancaster of Gillespie. Preceding her in death were a son, Robert Lancaster; a daughter, Betty Lancaster in infancy; and a sister, Opal Talbert.

Services for Phyllis J. Land, formerly of Litchfield, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville, with the Rev. John Keller officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery, Litchfield. Friends may call Friday in the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Childrens Miracle Network Foundation. Mrs. Land died at Wednesday, July 22, 1998, in her home in Taylorville. She was 59 years old on November 19. She was a customer service manager at Wal�Mart in Taylorville. She was born in Litchfield, a daughter of Charles and Esther Kessler Wolfe. She married Roger M. Land on June 21, 1957, and they were later divorced. Surviving are daughters, Lisa Gesell and Katrina Ittenbach, both of Kincaid; sons, Brent Land of Hillsboro, Earin K. Land of Elwood; brothers, Charles Wolfe of Boulder, Colo., James Wolfe and Warren Wolfe, both of Litchfield; and three grandchildren.

Landolt, Lucinda

Lucinda Landolt, sister of Benice Towell of Sorento, died Saturday, September 18, 1999, in her home in Breese. She was 85 years old on February 9. She was a teacher for many years in Breese, Ramsey aned Mulberry Grove. She was born in Old Ripley Township of Bond County, a daughter of Torrence and Martha Clanton Tipsword. She married Leo Lundolt on October 17, 1937, in St. Charles, Mo. He died November 15, 1990. Surviving are a son, Edward Landolt of Breese; daughters, Julie Schroeder of Richview, Linda Juneau of Rolla, Mo.; brothers, Julius Tipsword of Grant Fork, Thomas Tipsword of Old Ripley; another sister, Shirley Tipsword of Old Ripley; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were a daughter, Martha Landolt in infancy; brother, J.R. "Harley" Tipsword; sisters, Mayme Traub, Julie Ann Tipsword, Charlene Frueh and Lillian Caulk. Services were held today in the Donnellson - Wiegand Funeral Home, Green ville. Burial was in Brown Cemetery near Old Ripley.

Landreth, Everett E.

Services for Everett E. Landreth, formerly of Morrisonville, were held this afternoon in Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville. Burial was in Morrisonville Cemetery. Mr. Landreth died Monday, May 24, 1999, in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville. He was 80 years old on May 21. He worked for Balsley Implement in Morrisonville until he retired in 1954. In 1990, he moved from Morrisonville to Taylorville. He was born in Flora, a son of Claude and Grace Belle Hammer Landreth, and married Virginia J. Gill there in 1940. She died in 1994. Surviving are a daughter, Juanita Miller of Taylorville; a brother, Robert Landreth of Jacksonville; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Lange, Howard R.

Funeral Mass for Howard Raymond Lange, of Raymond, will be said at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Raymond's Catholic Church there by the Rev. Father W.M. Maul. Full military rites will be conducted at graveside in St. Raymond's Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in Hough Funeral Home, Raymond. Prayer service will be conducted at 5 p.m. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials be directed to the Raymond Park or the Raymond - Harvel Ambulance Service. Mr. Lange died at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 1999, in Hillsboro Hospital. He was 81 years old on Feb. 25, and an Army veteran of World War II. He was mill foreman for Ralston Purina for 30 years before he retired. Later, he worked as custodian at the Raymond Park. He was a member of the Raymond American Legion Post 299 for 43 years and served in the Legion Color Guard. Member of St. Raymond' Church, he was a member of St. Raymond's Knights of Columbus Council 4696. He was, also, past treasurer of the Raymond - Harvel Kiwanis, past member of the Raymond Fourth of July Association, and an organizer of the Raymond - Harvel Community Fund. He enjoyed golfing. He was born in rural Harvel, a son of Louis and Minnie Felk Lange, and graduated from Raymond High School in 1938. He married Dolores Baker on September 4, 1947, in Decatur. She survives. Surviving also are a daughter, Linda Pinkstaff and husband Gary of Gilbert, Ariz.; brother, Russell Lange of Girard; sister, Faye Teak of Tuscola; grandchildren, Dr. David Pinkstaff and wife Kristen of Gainesville, Fla., Susan Gentry and husband Thomas of Phoenix, Ariz. Preceding him in death were a brother, Wayne Lange and a sister, Helen Warrens.

Langel, Amelia C.

Amelia Catherine Buchler Langel, step mother of Verda Chappelear of Hillsboro, died Sunday, September 19, 1999, in St. Joseph Hospital, Highland. She was 85 years old on April 30. She resided in Highland. She was born in Aviston, a daughter of August and Anna M. Strubbart Baer. She married Fred J. Buchler on October 29, 1935; he died November 7, 1965. She married David A. Langel on October 28, 1972, in Highland; he died February 1, 1994. Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy A. Voegele of Highland; step son, Charles Langel of San Leandro, Calif.; brothers, Charles Baer of Marine, Elmer Baer of Glen Carbon; sisters, Irene Hoffmann of Highland, Bertha Lindley of East Alton; four grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Services were held Highland with burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Trenton.

Langen, Bernard William

Bernard William Langen, formerly of Morrisonville, died Wednesday, July 8, 1998, in Methodist Medical Center, Peoria. He was 82 years old on December 30. A resident of Peoria, he was a pipefitter for Caterpillar, Inc. and also worked for the Sanitary Towel Supply before retiring in 1982. He was born in Morrisonville, a son of Theodore and Alice Seelbach Langen. He married Mildred M. Fireman there in 1949. She died in 1994. Surviving are sons, James and Gary Langen of Peoria, David Langen of Mapleton; a brother, Wayne Langen of Morrisonville; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services will be held in Peoria at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann's Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Peoria. Davis�Fulton WEstern Fuenral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Langenfeld, Mary C.

Concelebrated funeral Mass for Mary C. Langenfeld, formerly of Witt, will be said at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Springfield, with the Rev. Mrs. Langenfeld, of Springfield, died at 4:40 a.m. Sunday, July 18, 1999, in Memorial Medical Center there. She was 61 years old on June 7. She was a nurse and worked at the Springfield Clinic for 35 years before retiring in 1998. She was born in Witt, a daughter of John and Mary Jane Diggle Christian. She married John Robert Langenfeld on June 8, 1963, in Witt; he died in 1986. Surviving are a son, John Langenfeld of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter, Patricia Shriner of Chandler, Ariz.; brother, John Christian of Riverton; and a granddaughter, Colleen Shriner of Chandler.

Services for Carroll Langford, of Hillsboro, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Bass Funeral Home with the Rev. John Reynolds and the Rev. Ryan Jackson, pastor of Redemption Center Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The family suggests memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Leukemia Society. Mr. Langford died at 4:25 p.m. Monday, July 5, 1999, in his home. He was 78 years old on December 23, and an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a maintenance welder for CIPS until he retired and resided for most of his life in the Hillsboro area. He graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1940. He was a member of the Redemption Center Assembly of God. He was born in Grisham Township, a son of William and Esther Pearl Fuller Langford. He married June Skipper on July 20, 1941, in Union, Mo. She survives. Surviving are sons, Michael Langford and wife Judith of Reno, Nevada, Russell Langford and wife Terry of Burlington, N.J.; daughters, Anita Podshadley and husband Max of Virden, Kathleen Tobin and husband Michael of Peoria, Patricia Langford of Bay St. Louis, Miss., Jodee Langford Weaver and husband Ken of Reno, Nevada; brother, Gerald Langford, Leigh High Acres, Fla.; sister, Muriel Feltes of Moro; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were brothers, Victor and Osmoe Langford and Clyde William in infancy.

Services for Ina Langlano, mother of Mrs. Bobby Dill of Hillsboro, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Calvert and Ferry Funeral Home, Auburn. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Mrs. Langlano died Sunday, September 13, 1998, in St. John's Hospital. She was 72 years old on April 16. She was born in Boone, Iowa, a daughter of Earl F. and Daisy Mae Wilson Perry. She married Victor F. Langiano in 1942 in Springfield. he died in 1978. Surviving besides Victoria E. Dill are other daughters, Elena M. Walker of Andalusia and Yvonne D. Stropnik of Auburn; sons, Dominic J. and Anthony E. Langlano, both of Auburn; a brother, Douglas Perry of Springfield; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Larger, Mack

Mack Larger, father of Norma Sank of Gillespie, died Tuesday, July 19, 1999, in his home in Dolan Springs, Ariz. He was 85 years old on December 11. He was born in Livingston, a son of Max and Josephine Larcher. Before his retirement, he owned his own garage in Las Vegas and was proficient in working on jet engines. Surviving besides Mrs. Sank are three other daughters, Alvera Armour of Casselberry, Fla., Kay Forbes of Brendemeir, Fla., Carol Downing of Alton; a sister, Alma Ostrowsky of Edwardsville; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

LaRoche, Virginia M.

Services for Virginia M. LaRoche, of Gillespie, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Kravanya Funeral Home there with the Rev. Father Larry Auda officiating. Burial will be in Benld City Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Gillespie - Benld Ambulance Service or The Partnership for Educational Excellence in Community Unit School District 7. Mrs. LaRoche died at 7:40 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 1999, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. She was 75 years old on August 29. She worked at the Gillespie Cleaners for 10 years then as a waitress at The Gardens in Litchfield for 15 years. She was born in Wilsonville, a daughter of Otto and Mary Konetski Timm. She married Harold LaRoche on January 12, 1945, in Chicago. He survives. Surviving also are sons, Edward LaRoche and Timm LaRoche and wife Ann, all of Gillespie; daughter, Collen Gausepohl and husband Steve of Gillespie; brother, Otto "Sonny" Timm of Orick, Calif.; sister, Irene Calvert of Orick; and three grandchildren, Todd LaRoche, Eric Cooper, Megan Gausepohl, all of Gillespie. Preceding her in death were sisters, Margaret Bekke and Elizabeth Baffione.

Larson, Mary

Services for Mary Larson, of Nokomis, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Louis Catholic Church there with the Rev. Father Pat Jakel officiating. Burial will be in Nokomis Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Stiehl��Dawson Funeral Home. Mrs. larson died at 3:14 this morning, Monday, August 3, 1998, in Hillsboro Hospital. She was 90 years old on April 9. She was a retired nurse, member of the St. Louis Church and the C.C.W. She was born in Girard, a daughter of Ralph and Rose Fullerton Sawerbier. She married Carl A. Larson in 1934, in Pana. He died December 8, 1965. Surviving are a daughter, Mary C. Larson of Nokomis; a son, Tom Larson of Nokomis; a sister, Catheine White of Nokomis. Three brothers preceded her in death.
