The McCracken Funeral Home in Pana is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Moneyhun, of Pana, died Friday, February 19, 1999, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. She was 73 years old on July 10. She was retired from the Secretary of State's office. She was born in Springfield, a daughter of Jack and Bessie Harlow Allen. Her husband, George Moneyhun, died in 1998. Surviving are a son, Lawrence "Buddy" Moore of Pana; brothers, Floyd Allen of Dexter, Mo., Charles Allen of Taylorville, Albert Lee Allen of Odin; other sisters, Norma Atkins, Velma Bland Kelmel, both of Pana, Alda "Tootie" Jarrett of Tennessee; five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Olive, a son of Emil and Leona Heien Monke. He married Vivian Greeling on September 10, 1949; she died May 20, 1995. Surviving are sons, Jerry Greeling and wife Pat of Mt. Olive, Kenneth Monke of Arcola, Richard Monke and wife Pamela of Mt. Olive, Ronald Monke and wife Nicole of Benld; daughters, Deborah Monke, Bonny Monke, both of Benld, Sandra Svoboda of Dillon, Montana, Barbara Monke of Benld; brother, Gilbert Monke of Mt. Olive; sisters, Adele Knackstedt of Worden, Delores Crittenden, Lorene Schoen, Doris Kenneth, Sharon Pakovich, all of Mt. Olive; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services for Frank L. Monroe, formerly of Hillsboro, were held at 1 p.m. today in Bass Funeral Home there. The Rev. Matt Ferguson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Hillsboro, officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery with military rites conducted by VFW Post 1306, Taylor Springs. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation. Mr. Monroe, of Rochester, died at 8:35 p.m. Friday, January 29, 1999, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. He was 74 years old on October 17, and an Army veteran of World War II, having served from 1942 to 1946. He was an electrician for Illinois Power Company from 1952 until he retired in 1986. He was a member of the American Legion. He was born in Green ville, a son of Frank and Grace Stubblefield Monroe, and graduated in 1942 graduate from Green ville High School. He married Geraldine Hefley on November 22, 1969. She survives. Surviving also daughters, Rebecca Prehoda and husband Wesley of Springfield, Deborah King and husband Rodney of Niantic, Ann Price and husband Louie of Springfield; a step son, Dennis Martin and wife Patricia of Springfield; a brother, James E. Monroe of Vienna; a sister, Gay Boles of Laurel, Md.; and six grandchildren.

Patton Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Montgomery, of Schram City, died at 7:20 a.m. Thursday, November 26, 1998, in Hillsboro Hospital. He was 51 years old on October 21. He was born in Butler, a son of Francis R. and Marjorie A. Feeny Montgomery, and resided with his parents until 1966 when he moved to Litchfield Terrace. In 1995, he moved to Schram Plaza. He never married. Surviving is a brother, Ronald L. Montgomery and wife Mary Ann of rural Coffeen. A brother, Kenneth D. Montgomery, preceded him in death.

He was 68 years old on May 2, and a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a self-employed geologist. He graduated from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, in 1957. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Hillsboro Moose Lodge 1377, and member and past commander of Kershaw Hammer VFW Post 1306. He was born in Tovy, a son of George and Margaret O'Hara Moody, and graduated from Hillsboro High School in the class of 1948. He married Norma Jean Zimmer on January 18, 1954; she died January 16, 1994. Surviving are a son, Michael Moody of Chicago; daughters, Margaret Watson and husband Dennis of Normal, Terri Sweet and husband Douglas of Hillsboro; brothers, James Moody of Springfield, Fred Moody of Heron; and nine grandchildren. Preceding him in death were brothers, Edward and Frank Moody.

She was 85 years old on May 27. She was born in Gillespie, a daughter of William and Isabelle Turner Heyen, and graduated from Gillespie High School. She married Warren LeRoy Moore in 1935 in Gillespie. They resided in Peoria, San Bernadino, Calif., and Hemet, Calif., before he died on December 4, 1990. She returned to Gillespie in 1991. Surviving are a son, Gary Moore and wife Marilyn of St. Peters; sister, Virginia Laughlin of Gillespie; grandchildren, Alan Moore of Chino Hills, Calif., Gary Moore Jr. of Independence, Mo., Suzanne Moore of Payson, Ariz.; and two great grandchildren. Others surviving include a daughter in law, Celeste Moore of Payson. Preceding her in death were a son, Jack Moore and a brother, William Heyen.

A resident of New Douglas for the past 17 years, she was born in East St. Louis, a daughter of John and Theda Brown Berkley. She married Paul J. Moore on February 7, 1953. He died September 15, 1993. Surviving are daughters, Pam Dyckman and husband Rob, Laurie Darrah, all of Staunton; a sister, Jeanie Kasson of New Douglas, and four grandchildren, Robert and Douglas Dyckman, Stephanie and Courtney Darrah.

Mrs. Moore, of Springfield, died at 9:33 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 1999, in Memorial Medical Center there. She was 87 years old on March 18. She was a church organist for more than 60 years, playing in churches where she was a member and in several other churches. She was born in Rochester, a daughter of John E. and Rosa Plummer Fogle. She married Harold T. Moore in 1931. He survives. Surviving also are two other daughters, Wilma Reichardt of Las Vegas and Wanda Webb of Annandale, Va.; six sons, Harold L. and R. Wayne Moore of Springfield, John W. Moore of Dawson, James T. Moore of Plano, Texas, Merle A. Moore of Seattle, Wash., Joe P. Moore of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 29 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were a brother, Harry Lawrence Fogle; a sister, Gladys C. Beck; and two grndchildren.

Mrs. Moore, of Springfield, died Friday, July 23, 1999, in St. John's North there. She was 57 years old on November 10. She was an office associate with the Illinois Department of Public Health. She was born in Morehouse, Mo., a daughter of Carl V. and Ruby J. McClain Twitty. She was first married to Art Grandfield. Later she married Joseph Moore. Surviving are a daughter, Margeta Kienzler of Springfield; her father, Carl Twittty of Nokomis; sister, June Kauffman of Houston; brother, Larry Twitty of Nokomis.

He was a barber for more than 50 years and owned Moore's Barber Shop in Staunton. He was also a Staunton Township trustee. He was a member of Staunton VFW Post 1241, Staunton Masonic Lodge 177 AF&AM, Concordia Singing Society, Frist Baptist Church of Livingston, Staunton Sportsmen's Club, Amvets Post 55, Staunton American Legion Post 362. He was born in Litchfield, a son of George Earl and Maude Miller Moore. He married Norma Heinemeier on July 13, 1946, in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Staunton. She survives. Surviving also are a son, Bill Moore and wife Carla of Staunton; daughter, Debora Ann Moore of Centralia; brother, Herbert Russell Moore of Silverdale, Wash.; and four grandchildren, George III, Steven, John and Beth Moore. She worked as a cook at several area restaurants and had resided in Worden for the past 18 years. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Senior Citizens of Worden and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 204 of Wood River. She was born in Hardin, a daughter of Harvey and Bessie Hodge Fisher. Her husband, Phillip Moore, preceded her death. Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Hall and husband Bill of Worden; sister, Anna Mae Westbrook Austin of Wood River; three grandsons, Jim Hall and wife Sheila of Troy, Manny and Bill Baker III; and three great grandchildren, Brittanie Baker, Trevor and Zachary Hall. Mrs. Moore died at 10:55 p.m. Friday, October 15, 1999, in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville. She was 98 years old on December 17. She was born in Bingham, a daughter of Frank and Edith Bingham Benda. She married Clarence T. Moore in September 1923 in Vandalia; he died in November 1970. Surviving is a son, Donald Moore and wife Lillian of Fillmore. Preceding her in death were brothers, Earl and Warner Benda.
Moran, Sr., James Eugene
Memorial service for James Eugene Moran, Sr., will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bethel Baptist Church in rural Jerseyville. Graveside service will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery at Jerseyville. The family will receive friends in the church on Wednesday after noon. Eulogy will be given at 1:30 p.m. Mr. Moran, of Green top, Mo., died Saturday, January 2, 1999, one day before his 67th birthday. He was a diary farmer in Medora, Prophetstown and Sun Prairie, Wis., before he mvoed to Green top in March 1969. There he raised hogs and cattle until his death. He also worked for the Standard Register, retiring in January 1994, after 18 years of service, writing under the alias "Chicken." He always had a strong, loud and boisterous opinion when it came to politics and the pride he took in his country. He was a board member for the Adair County Public Water Supply District at Kirksville, Mo., from 1987 until the present and a member of the Kirksville Loyal Order of the Moose. He was also a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. He was a gradaute of Green field High School in the class of 1950, and served in the Marine Crops from 1951 to 1954. He was born in rural Jersey County, a son of Olvier J. and Elnora Ritchey Moran, and married twice. To his first marriage, on June 30, 1952, there were nine children born, all of whom survive. Moran of Larned, Kan., Spec. Anita Janine Rose of the U.S. Army in Fayetteville, N.C. His second marriage took place on September 14, 1979, in Miami, Oklahoma, to Helen Ritter Pickens. She survives in Glenwood, Mo. They became the parents of four children, Sandra Goodell of Corydon, Iowa, Susan Snowbarger of San Diego, Calif., Cathy Jo Farley of Downing, Mo., and Janis Burlington of Kansas City, Mo.. Also surviving are his father, Oliver Moran of Medora; brothers, Ed Moran of Kane, Leslie Moran of Rockbridge; a sister, Sharon Short of Medora; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his mother, Elnora Moran and a grandson, Derick Farley. Travis Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, Mo., is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Arthur L. "Art" Moreland, who has several step children in the Nokomis area, died Tuesday, May 11, 1999, in his home. He was 83 years old last June 20. He was born in Ramsey, a son of Thomas F. and Hettie Alice Nave Moreland. He married Uritha "Dot" Ferguson on May 5, 1973; she survives. Surviving also are a daughter, Lottie Widmer of Washington, Ill.; step son, Jeffrey Niewinski of Nokomis; step daughtrs, Mary Woodall of Splendora, Texas, Linda Dirks, Jean McCall and Juli Wilbur, all of Nokomis; brothers, Delbert Moreland of Pekin, Lyle Moreland of Monticello, Jerry Moreland of Tucson, Ariz.; sister, Fern Harris of Effingham; one grand child, 11 step grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Graveside services were held today in Ramsey Cemetery. The Rev. Louie Thiele officiated. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Moreland died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, November 28, in Anderson Hospital, Maryville, one day after her 38th birthday. She was a clerk and cafeteria employee employed by Harmon's Food for Less in Benld and the Staunton School District. She was born in Granite City, a daughter of Delbert and Janet Berkel Wood. She married Eric Moreland on June 3, 1996, in Staunton. He survives. Surviving also are sons, Jeremy and Matt Schmidt, both of Staunton; a daughter, Danielle Schmidt of Staunton; two step sons, Christopher Moreland of Mayfield, Kentucky, Keith Moreland of Livingston; her mother, Janet Wood of Mitchell; brothers, Dale Wood of Panama, Marvin Wood of Jacksonville; sisters, Cheryl Wagonblast of Brighton, Gina McKenna of Gotebo, Okla. Others surviving include a niece, Laura Rutter of Staunton. Her father, Delbert Wood, preceded her in death.

Sunday, January 24, 1999, in St. Francis Hospital. He was 83 years old on December 16, and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was employed as parts manager for Herman Motor Company in Raymond, M.I. Ford in Litchfield, Perry Thomas Lincoln - Mercury and North Town Ford, both in Decatur, before his retirement in 1981. He was a member of Holy Family Parish in Litchfield, KNights of Columbus Virden Council 2321, VFW Post 3912 of Litchfield and past commander, and Litchfield Moose Lodge 1634. He was born in Spaulding, a son of Daniel and Rose Birch Swarringim Morgan. He married Mary Lucille Graham on June 30, 1935, in Springfield. She survives. Surviving also are sons, William A. Morgan and wife Marilyn of Litchfield, Richard Morgan and wife Blonca of El Paso, Texas; a daughter, Joan Jones and husband Bobby of Fayetteville, N.C.; a sister, Alberta Rees of Dawson; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandparents. Others surviving include two daughters in law, Patricia Morgan of Springfield, Anita Morgan of Kingston, N.H. Preceding him in death were sons, Robert and Daniel Morgan, Jr., and a sister, Lucille. Funeral Mass for Daniel Lee Morgan, Sr., of Litchfield, was said by the Rev. Father David Schmdit at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery. Kathy Skinner, organist, accompanied Jan Johns, cantor, while she led the congregation in singing "Eye Has Not Seen," "Because the Lord is My Shepherd" and "Amazing Grace." Others participating in the Mass were Chad and Austin Skinner, Mass servers; Bev Skelton and Kathi Kellenberger, ministers of Eucharist; Denise Kellenberger, lector; Martin Kalaher and Francis Kellenberger, ushers. Mr. Morgan's grandchildren, Morgan Laurie and Brett Salmonds, carried the gifts in preparation for Communion. Pallbearers were Dean Brandt, Dennis Kellenberger, Bill Morgan, Ed Tuggle, Gene Tuggle and Gregg Tuggle. Full military rites were held at graveside. Those participating with VFW Post 3912 were Jim and Ray Benton, who presented the flag to the son, Richard Morgan, Frank Wlaton, Dennis Lewey, post commander, Joe and Tim Wilson, V.C. Chasteen, Larry Heisman, Larry Schneck and Dave Allen, O.D. Those particiapting with American Legion Post 436 were Wilbur Tackaberry, post commander, Lee Baker, Bill Rogers and Bill Bates. Craig Engleman played "Taps." Following the committal service a meal was provided for the family and friends by the women of the church. Plummer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. A memorial service is being held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Mannia Church in Fayetteville, N.C., where his daughter, Joan Jones, attends. Mr. Morgan, 83, died at 9:32 a.m. Sunday, January 24, in St. Francis Hospital.

Elizabeth G. Morgan, formerly of Gillespie, died Friday, December 25, 1998, in Taylorville. She was 83 years old on February 8. She was a registered nurse before she retired. She was born in Gillespie, a daughter of Louis and Anna Ross Grassel. Surviving are a daughter, Judy Morgan Kinsell of Nacogdoches, Texas; a sister, Theodora Broverman of Taylorville; a brother, William Grassel of Hoffman Estates. Services were held today in Taylorville with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery there.

Marie Morgan, formerly of Litchfield, died Saturday, June 5, 1999, in her home in Sylmar, Calif., following an illness of one and a half years. She was 87 years old on February 23. She spent most of her life in Litchfield before moving to Sylmar 14 years ago. She worked at Brown Shoe Company, Roller Derby and Eades Dairy Queen. She was born in Virden, a daughter of Guy and Edna White Williams. She married Keith Morgan on Feburary 20, 1930; he died November 8, 1980. Surviving are daughters, Letha Spurney of California and Barbara Odle and husband Dale of Litchfield; brothers, Charlie Williams of St. Louis, Fred Williams of Cold Spring, Ky., George Williams of Wood River; four grandchildren, Craig Spurney of California, Steve and Scott Odle of Litchfield, Donna Odle of Jerseyville; and three great grandchildren, Josh, Devon and Joe Odle, all of Litchfield. Preceding her in death were a sister, Adaline Williams; a brother, Harley Williams and a grandson, Dale Odle Jr. Memorial service will be held Thursday in California. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery, Litchfield, at a later date. Graveside service for Marie Morgan, mother of Barbara Odle of Litchfield, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Tony Roettgers of Litchfield will officiate. Mrs. Morgan, 87 on February 23, died Saturday, June 5, 1999, in Sylmar, Calif., where she had lived for the last 14 years. She was a resident of Litchfield for some 69 years, working at Brown Shoe Company, Roller Derby and Eades Dairy Queen before she retired. Her full obituary was in the paper June 8. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to the Montgomery County chapter of the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Morgan died at 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 1999, in the home of her daughter in Mt. Clare. She was 86 years old on June 6. She was a teacher in the Bunker Hill Elementary School and for six years in the Sawyerville Elementary School. She attended the Sawyerville grade school and graduated from Benld High School with the class of 1931. She attended Illinois State University, Normal, for one year and graduated from McKendree College in Lebanon. She was born in Sawyerville, a daughter of George and Jenny Perrott Schmutzler. She married Floyd E. Morgan on August 13, 1940, in St. Louis. He died September 10, 1963. Surviving are a daughter, Peggy Frame of Mt. Clare; granddaughter, Jill Rosentreter and husband Rodney of Gillespie; and two great grandchildren, Jimmy and Jordan. Preceding her in death were a brother, Kenneth Schmutzler; sister, Fern Murray; and a step mother, Dorthea Miller Schmutzler.

Funeral Mass for Angie M. Morgando, of Gillespie, will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church there by the Rev. Father Larry Auda. Burial will be in Gillespie City Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie. Prayer service will be held at 8:30 p.m. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Benld Gillespie Ambulance Service, Masses or the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Morgando died at 1:31 p.m. Monday, July 6, 1998, in St. Francis Hospital. She was 82 years old on March 19. She worked as a supervisor in the Secretary of State's Licensing and Title division for 26 years. She was an active member of SS. Simon and Jude Church, taking part in the church choir and the altar society. She was also a past president of the Gillespie Band Boosters and past president of the Woman's Democratic Society. She was very active politically. She was born in Clinton, Ind., a daughter of Sam and Minnie Reano Garella, and attended the public schools in Benld. She graduated from Benld High School. Surviving are sons, John Morgando and wife Sharon of Henderson, Ky., Jim Morgando and wife Georgann of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.; daughter, Judy Barnerd and husband Jack of East Alton; brother, Barney Garella of Gillespie; seven grandchildren, James Morgando II, Derrick Morgando, Michael Ringering, John Barnerd, Patty Tomerlin, CArrie Schwartz, Gina Morgando; and two great grandchildren, Brian Tomerlin and Shelby Morgando. Preceding her in death were brothers, Joseph and Angelo Garella.
Morrell, Orville Denton
Services for Orville Denton Morrell, of Fillmore, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Allen and Sutton Funeral Home there. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery. Friends may call Friday in the funeral home from noon until the time of service. Mr. Morrell died at 2:18 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 1998, in Hillsboro Health Care. He was 82 years old on October 15. He was an auto mechanic and a farmer. Active in the Masons, he was a past master of Masonic Lodge 456 AF&AM, Nokomis. He was born in Fillmore, a son of Thomas Denton and Berniece Batton Morell. He married Hilda Marie Hopwood on July 24, 1935, in Hillsboro. She survives. Surviving also are daughters, Jeanette Ball of Moweaqua, Phyllis Boch of Charlotte, N.C., Ruth Ward of Apoka, Fla., Vickie Bell of Hillsboro; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Morris, Dale E.
Private family services for Dale E. Morris, brother of Bill Morris of Litchfield, will be held with the Rev. Bob Sabo officiating. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery near Carlinville. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Heinz Funeral Home, Carlinville. Mr. Morris died at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 1999, in his home in Carlinville. He was 61 years old on September 9. He was a farmer most of his life. He was born near Carlinville, a son of Lester and Melvina Morris. His first wife, the former Nancy Lee whom he married in 1957, died in 1986. He married Tammy Thompson on June 21, 1991, and she survives. Surviving also are daughters, Theresa Morris of Walnut Ridge, Ark., Lesa Morris of Hamlet, N.C., Dalene Dawson of Springfield; another brother, Donald Morris of Springfield; a sister, Virginia Madison of Chicago; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were brothers, Dean and Melvin Morris.
Morris, Edna G.
Edna G. Morris, wife of former Litchfield resident, Charles W. Morris, died Sunday, October 31, 1999, in Christian Hospital Northeast in North St. Louis County. A resident of the St. Louis area, she was 84 years old on October 12. She was born in Elmira, Nebraska, a daughter of John and Dora Fricke Poling. She married Charles W. Morris on November 1, 1941. He survives. Surviving also are sons, Charles W. "Bill" Morris, Jr. and wife Marilyn, Robert Morris and wife Marilyn; brothers, John Jr., Robert, Gerald, Jesse and sisters, Anna and Mildred. Preceding her in death was a brother, Lester. The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. today in Buchholz Spanish Lake Mortuary, 1645 Redman avenue, St. Louis. Burial of her cremains will be held at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery, Litchfield. Memorial graveside service for Edna G. Morris will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery. Meinschein Funeral Home is in charge. Mrs. Morris, 84, died Sunday, October 31, in North St. Louis County. Her obituary was in the News-Herald on November 2. Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Morris, formerly of Litchfield, and sons, Charles "Bill" and Robert Morris.

Eastern Star service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Shriners for crippled children. Mrs. Morrison died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 1999, in her home. She was 94 years old on March 5. She taught at the Hood School years ago. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Plainview for more than 50 years, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and the First Congregational Church of Bunker Hill. She was born in Bunker Hill, a daughter of John E. and Caroline Lind Weidner. She married Harold Morrison on June 24, 1937, in Hillsboro. He died in 1976. Surviving are a son, Robert Morrison and wife Judith of Plainview; brothers, Nelson and Wilbur Weidner of Bunker Hill; sisters, Evelyn Colburn of Alton and Roberta Welch of Lebanon, Ill.; three grandchildren, Robert Aaron Morrison and Greta Elizabeth Morrison, both of Plainview, and Jonathan Estes Morrison of Lombard.

Mrs. Moruskey died at 9:19 a.m. Monday, March 1, 1999, in Anderson Hospital at Maryville. She was 89 years old on September 27. She was born in Benld, a daughter of Joseph and Domenica Moretto DeMartini. Her husband, Stanley Moruskey, died February 6, 1984. Surviving are a daughter, Roseanne Franke and husband Arnold of Edwardsville; brother, Joseph DeMartini of Benld; sister, Mary Orler of Gillespie; four grandchildren, Cara Lytle of Edwardsville, Lisa Franke Haida of Belleville, Jenny Franke Hall of Nashville, Tenn., Susan Jordan of Monticello, Ind.; and eight great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were brothers, Stephen, Pete, John and Domenic DeMartini.
Moruskey, Pete

Burial will be in Staunton Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Gillespie - Benld Ambulance Service. Mr. Moruskey died at 6:42 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 1999, in Carlinville Hospital. He was 83 years old on May 12, and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a welder with Amoco Oil Company in Wood River before he retired on February 1, 1976. He was also former mayor of Eagarville, former supervisor of Cahokia Township and a member of VFW Post 4547 of Gillespie. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He was born in Cambria, Wyoming, a son of Adam and Bertha Dominski Moruskey. He married Mary Goldasich on January 15, 1949, in Benld. She survives. Preceding him in death were brothers, Leo, Stanley and Adam Moruskey and a sister, Helen Radulovich.
