Services for Eva B. Reener, of Litchfield, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in Meinschein Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Bates, pastor of Litchfield Southern Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Mrs. Reener died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 1999, in her home. She was 90 years old on May 14. She was born in Irving, a daughter of Melvin L. and Etta May Oller Taylor. She married James A. Reener on October 10, 1964, in Litchfield. He survives. Surviving also are sons, Floyd R. Horn and wife Ida of Butler, Keith L. Horn and wife Bonnie of Litchfield; daughters, Anna Mae Beckham and husband Robert, and Delores Marie Adams and husband Richard, all of Litchfield; 18 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were sons, Charles, Harold and Vernon Horn; brothers, George, Arthur and Lewis Taylor; sisters, Marie Jett, Genevieve Taylor and Margaret Fogle; grandchildren, Earl, Todd, Harold Jr. and Paul Horn; and one great great grandchild, Zachary Hudzik. Services for Eva B. Reener, of Litchfield, were held at 1 p.m. Sunday in Meinschein Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Bates officiated. Burial was in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Musical selections requested by the family were "Be Not Afraid," "You'll Never Walk Alone" and "Peace in the Family." Michelle Sweet was the organist. Pallbearers were Floyd R. Beckham, Richard W. Funeral Mass for Gilbert John Reeves, of Hillsboro, will be said at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Agnes Catholic Church by the Rev. Father Dave Schmidt. Burial will be in Camp Butler Cemetery, Springfield. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Hough and Sons Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Prayer service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Mr. Reeves died at 10:44 a.m. Monday, May 24, 1999, in Hillsboro Hospital. He was 85 years old on September 12, and an Army veteran of World War II. He moved to Hillsboro about a year ago after residing in Springfield for 48 years. He was a sales representative for E.I. DuPont before he retired. He was a member of St. Agnes Church. He was born in Walnut, Kansas, a son of Gilbert P. and Josie F. Reeves, and attended schools there. He married Eva May Loyd in Girard, Kansas. She survives. Surviving also are sons, Gary and Ronald Reeves, both of Hillsboro, Norman Reeves of Baytown, Texas; sisters, Connie Viets, Betty Keller; brothers, Tom, Jerry and Bob Reeves; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were brothers, Jack, Don, Pat and Paul Reeves and sisters, Mary Jo Dent and Esabell Locke.

Funeral arrangements for Mary Lucille Reeves, of rural Donnellson, are pending at Bass Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Mrs. Reeves died at 11:35 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 1998, in her home. She was 88 years old on September 9. She was a teacher in rural schools for many years and had substitute taught in Coffeen and Irving schools. She was born in Montgomery county, a daughter of William Fred and Hattie Ellen Price Neece. She married Dwight Reeves on August 18, 1932. He died January 4, 1989.Surviving are sons, Roger Reeves and wife Kathy of Hillsboro, Fred O. Reeves and wife Bonnie of Mason City, LaMoine E. Reeves and wife Jean of Donnellson; daughter, Myrna Marti and husband Eldon of Afton, Mo.; sister, Jean Brady of Sunset Hills, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Geoff and Dwight Reeves, Shalene and Shelly Reeves, Sharry Mare, Cathy Leffler, Rick Marti and Becky Bergman; and 11 great grandchildren. Services for Ruby V. Reeves, formerly of Donnellson, were held at 10:30 this morning in Patton Memorial Home. The Rev. Conrad Stone, pastor of Donnellson Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Donnellson Cemetery. Mrs. Reeves died at 2:30 a.m. Friday, July 17, 1998, in Heritage Manor of Pana. She was 79 years old on November 30. She moved to Donnellson in 1953 and worked as a cutter at Demoulin's in Green ville. Later, after retiring, she moved to Assumption. She previously resided in Cowden and Brownstown. She was a member of the F.A.N.S. club and the Donnellson Baptist Church. She was born in Brownstown, a daughter of Harvey William and Goldie Emma Landers Knapp. She married Edwin Eugene "Gene" Reeves on November 21, 1953, in Fayette County. He died May 21, 1990. Surviving are a nephew whom she raised, Dale Knapp Jr. of Assumption; a brother, Dale Knapp and wife Virginia of Moweaqua; a sister, Imogene Wells of Donnellson; and five grandchildren. Preceding her in death were brothers, Homer, Fred and Darrell Knapp and one in infancy; and sisters, Rosa Doty and Rochelle who died at the age of 1 year. Services for Mary Lucille Reeves, of Donnellson, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Bass Funeral Home, Hillsboro, with the Rev. Reichel, Omar F.
Services for Omar Francis Reichel, formerly of Mt. Olive, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Becker and Son Funeral Home there with the Rev. R.E. George officiating. Burial will be in Union Miners Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Union Miners Cemetery or to Mt. Olive VFW Post 5790. Mr. Reichel died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, December 19, 1999, in his home in Alton. He was 93 years old on October 2, and an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a coal miner in White City and later an electrician for Beall Tool of East Alton. He was a member of VFW Post 2859 in Wood River and the St. Paul United Methodist Church of Rosewood Heights. He was born in Mt. Olive, a son of August and Bertha Voyles Reichel, and attended the White City Grade School. He married Josephine Korunka on March 7, 1936, in Edwardsville. She died March 12, 1997. He was the last of his family, survived only by a niece, Norma Edwards of Canton. Preceding him in death was a sister, Katie Edwards. Services for Omar Francis Reichel, of East Alton, were held at 11 this morning in Becker and Son Funeral Home, Mt. Olive. The Rev. R.E. George officiated. Burial was in Union Miners Cemetery, Mt. Olive. Musical selections were "In the Garden" and "Amazing Grace." Ernie Thomack was the soloist and pianist. Pallbearers were Jerome "Butch" Scheller, Earl Hagerman, Rollo Voyles, K.C. Korunka, Frank Schwab and Dan Mancini. The flag was folded by Mancini and Michael Kasarda, and was presented by Mancini to Mr. Reichel's sister in law, Lorene Sullivan. Taps was played by Ernie Thomack. Following the services family and friends gathered for a meal at the Sunset restaurant, Mt. Olive. Mr. Reichel, 93, died Sunday, December 19, in his home.

Mrs. Reid died at 1:08 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, 1999, in Heritage Manor of Gillespie. She was 78 years old on December 23. She owned and operated Jan-El Jewelry and Gift Shop in Gillespie from 1957 to 1997 when she retired. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star and the VFW Auxiliary. She was born in Litchfield, a daughter of Earl A. and Louella May Boyd Ray. Her husband James Reid died November 22, 1979. Surviving are a son, Bob Reid and wife Pat of Gillespie; grandchildren, James R. Reid Jr., Gerald A. "Jerry" Reid; and a great grandchild, Kyle J. Reid. Preceding her in death was a sister, Gerry Dalzotto.

Services for George Calvin "Prof" Reid, of Carlinville, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in SS. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church there with the Rev. Father Dean Probst officiating. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers contributions be directed to the George C. Reid Memorial for the Carlinville High School Music Department. Mr. Reid died at 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at the home of a daughter in Mt. Vernon. He was 82 years old on August 8. He was a music teacher at Carlinville High School for 35 years before retiring in 1975. He was also a member and director of the Carlinville Muni band, and the Illinois Music Educators Association. He graduated from the University of Illinois. He was a member of SS. Mary and Joseph Church, charter and life member of the Carlinville Lions Club, member of the Knights of Columbus, Carlinville Elks Lodge 1412 and Alpha Xi Fraternity. Active in the Boy Scouts of America, he received the Silver Beaver award in 1955. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1930, the first scout in Carlinville to earn the honor. He was a member of Troop 62. He was born in Mt. Vernon, a son of George Hoster and Naomi Glenn Reid. He married Gertrude L. Ross on August 21, 1936 in Carlinville; she died June 16, 1991. Surviving are 15 children, Dr. James Reid of Green field, John Reid of Stonington, Jerry Reid of Green field, George Reid of Mt. Zion, Ed Reid of Decatur, Bob Reid of Litchfield, Ken Reid of Carlinville, David Reid of Westchester, Don Reid of Carlinville, Margie Oftedahl of Bowlingbrook, Anne Dowland of Carlinville, Ruth LeVoy of Ellisville, Mo., Judy Hussey of Carlinville, Carol Miller of Mt. Vernon, Susan Weber of Litchfield; sisters, Florence Wentrcek of Granite Shoals, Texas and Sister Emily Pulliam; 54 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were a daughter, Mary Gertrude Peterson in 1974 and a grandson, Bradley Robert Reid.

Graveside service for Jennifer Reisinger, of Carlinville, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Davis - Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville. Mrs. Reisinger, 30 on June 22, was found and pronounced dead at 4:35 p.m. Monday, December 6, 1999, in Zanesville Township, Montgomery County. She had been strangled according to police authorities. She worked in area nursing homes as a certified nursing assistant and was last employed at Heritage Manor in Carlinville. She was the adopted daughter of Roger and Sheri Cruthis Dolash, who died in 1987. Surviving are two children, Casey and Hanna Dolash of Carlinville; adopted sister, Shana Dolash of Springfield; grandparents, Rev. Dean and Anita Dolash of Columbus, Ohio, and Dorothy Burrell of Carlinville. Others surviving include her father, Marion Franklin Burrell of Carlinville; mother, Rosemary Shade Smith of Illinois; brother, John McGlaughen of California; sister, Elizabeth "Beth" Enslow of Alabama; half brothers and sisters, Trista Burrell, Franklin Burrell, Larry Burrell, Jason Burrell, Marion Burrell Jr., all of Lincoln and Charlie Smith, also of Illinois.

The family suggests memorials be directed to St. Jude's Hospital, Memphis, Tenn. Mr. Remer died at 10:10 a.m. Sunday, September 26, 1999, in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield. He was 76 years old on March 11, and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a final finisher for Precision Metals in El Cajon, Calif., before he retired. He was a member of VFW Post 4547 and the Independent Order of Foresters. He was born in Gillespie, a son of Leo and Lucy A. Kelly Remer. He married Corrine M. Feyen on February 25, 1941, in St. Charles, Mo. She died March 28, 1995. Surviving are a daughter, Lucy E. Remer of Gillespie; brother, Jesse Remer of Gillespie; sisters, Berdina Mallory of Gillespie, Geraldine Gerdes of Litchfield, Edna Daugherty of Gillespie, Garnett Banjuart, Litchfield. Preceding her in death were a son, Donald L. Remer; brothers, Elmer and James Remer. A son in law, William H. Davis, also died before her.

Mrs. Rennekamp died at 2:40 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 1999, in Sunshine Manor Nursing Home, Carlinville. She was 98 years old on February 8. She was a member of the Raymond United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Raymond Senior Citizens. She was born in Oermann, Mo., a daughter of Karl and Christina Dolde Heitmann. She married Henry C. Rennekamp on February 10, 1934, in Dittmer, Mo. He died April 8, 1955. The couple had no children. Surviving are a sister, Clara Weber of Cedar Hill, Mo.; nieces, Elsie Fuchs of Carlinville, Marian Elledge of Litchfield; nephews, Paul Hesterberg of Rockford, Earl Hesterberg of St. Peters, Mo., Charles Heitmann of Missouri. Others surviving include a sister in law, Dora Heitmann of St. Louis. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Services for Francis "Panny" Renner, of Staunton, were held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, October 15, 1998, in Williamson Funeral Home, Staunton. The Rev. Father George Radosevich officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery there. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children. Mr. Renner died at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 1998, in Staunton Memorial Hospital. He was 89 years old on January 28. He retired in 1974 as an employee of the Illinois Department of Transportation. Prior to that he was a coal miner for 37 years. He was a member of Staunton Masonic Lodge 177 AF&AM, Concordia Singing Society and the Ainad Temple in East St. Louis. He was born in Thayer, a son of Joseph and Julia Chek Renner. He married Helen Committs on December 3, 1932, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hamel. She survives. Surviving also are sons, Len, Bill, John and Frank Renner, all of Staunton; a brother, Art Renner of Naperville; a sister, Louise Neely, also of Naperville; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Two sisters, Emma Dzurus and Tillie Echher, preceded him in death.

Mr. Renner died at 11:38 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 1999, in his home home. He was 46 years old on November 28. He was a dispatcher for Livingston Pipe and Tube in Staunton until last year, member of Masonic Lodge 177 A.F.&A.M. of Staunton, Scottish Rite of Belleville and Ainad Temple of East St. Louis. He was born in Williamson, a son of Francis, Sr., and Helen Committs Renner. His marriage ended in divorce. Surviving are his mother, Helen Renner of Staunton; brothers, Leonard Renner and wife Shirley, Bill Renner and wife Elitra, all of Staunton, John Renner and wife Vicki of rural Bunker Hill.

Mrs. Rentz died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 1999, in St. Francis Hospital. She was 61 years old on November 18. She was a cook at McDonald's restaurant in Litchfield where she was affectionately called "Grandma" by fellow employees and regular patrons. She had worked with her husband, David, at Rentz Cleaners which was located where Family Eye Care is now. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Litchfield. She was born in Litchfield, a daughter of Wilbur and Frances Weir Rundle, and graduated from Litchfield High School in the class of 1955. She married James Green wood in 1957; they divorced in 1979. On December 8, 1984, she married David C. Rentz. He survives. Surviving also are sons, Michael Green wood and wife Shirley of Litchfield, Ronald Green wood of St. Louis; daughters, Kelly Durston and husband Danny, Mary Wallace and husband David, all of Litchfield; step sons, Scott Rentz of Chicago, Craig Rentz of Litchfield; brothers, Terry Thompson of Florida, RayDean, Kevin, Gary and George Thompson, all of Litchfield, James Thompson of Hillsboro, Bill Bishop of Oregon; sisters, Donna Davis, BeaKay Meyer, Patty Dela Cruz, all of Litchfield, Arlene Claytor of Orange, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were brothers, Tommy and Marvin Rundle and Stanley Thompson. Servics for Geraldine Mae Rentz, of Litchfield, were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Plummer Funeral Home. Bro. Ed Diveley, pastor of Southside Church and Bishop James W. Gietler, with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, officiated. Burial was in Crabtree Cemetery in South Litchfield Township. Musical selections were "Amazing Grace," "In the Garden," "The Lord's Prayer" and the closing song, "Mama Liked the Roses" by Elvis Presley. Pallbearers were Jeff Davis Sr., Jeff Davis Jr., John Davis, Lee Jarman, Dean Meyer and Mike Wallace. Honorary pallbearers were Steve Green wood, Gary Baker, Alvin Garst, Monte Govaia, Sgt. Guy Meyer, USAF, and Earl Nail. Following the services a meal was provided for family and friends in the hall of VFW Post 3912. Mrs. Rentz, 61, died Tuesday, June 29, in St. Francis Hospital.
Requarth, Joseph A.
Joseph A. Requarth, brother of Jim Requarth of Staunton, died Saturday, January 2, 1999, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. He was 48 years old on September 9. Mr. Requarth, of Springfield, was an electrical engineer with CWLP for more than 26 years. He was born in Springfield, a son of Lawrence G. and Alberta Clagett Requarth. He married Mary K. Giacomini in 1979. She survives. Surviving also are five children, Albert, Tim, Krista, Jackie and Becky Requarth, all at home; his mother, Alberta Requarth of Divernon; another brother, Jack Requarth of Divernon; sisters, Jane Requarth of Springfield, Jill Swartz of Divernon, and Jan Kuhn of Oconee. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rochester Christian Church. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery. Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester is in charge of arrangements.

Mabel V. Rhoades, formerly of Witt, died at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, in Prairie Rose Health Care Center, Pana. She was 83 years old on January 4. She was born in Witt, a daughter of Charles and Bessie Harrison Gamble. She married Oral Rhoades on March 1, 1937, in Assumption. He died in 1985. Surviving are a son, Charles Rhoades of Pana; sister, Lucille Howard of Englewood, Fla.; and two grandchildren. Services were held Friday in Assumption with burial in Pleasant View Cemetery there.

Mrs. Rhoades, of Springfield, died at 11:55 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 1999, in St. John's Hospital there. She was 70 years old on November 10. She had resided in Springfield since 1974 and worked at the State Journal - Register in the circulation department. She was a member of the Hillsboro Kirshaw - Harmer VFW Post 1306 auxiliary. She was born in Witt, a daughter of Joseph and Pauline Durbin Stauder. She married Forrest Rhoades on July 21, 1946, and he died in 1991. Surviving are sons, Harold Rhoades of Springfield, Michael Rhoades and wife Pat of Hillsboro; daughter, Marilyn Rhoades of Springfield; brother, Anthony Stauder and wife Mary of Nokomis; and four grandchildren. Preceding her in death was a brother, Thomas J. Stauder in 1980.
Rhodes, John M.
John M. Rhodes, brother of Nokomis residents, died Tuesday, May 19, 1998, in Blue Ash, Ohio. A resident of Loveland, Ohio, he was 68 years old on April 20. He was retired from the Air Force after having served in both the Korean and the Vietnam wars. He received many military honors. He worked for the Norfolk and Southern Railroad after leaving the service. He was born in Buffalo Heart, a son of Clarence and Clara Mae Myers Rhodes. he married Roberta Gregory on June 3, 1949, in Jeffersonville, Ind. She survives. Surviving also is a son, Steven Rhodes of San Francisco, Calif. Among survivors in the local area are brothers, Frank Rhodes and wife Dorothy, Lewis and Russell Rhodes and wife Ellen, and a sister in law, Mary Rhodes, all of Nokomis. Services were held in Barbourville, Ky., with burial in the cemetery there.

Mr. Ricchiardi, of Carlinville, died Wednesday, December 2, 1998, in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield. He was 79 years old last December 18, and an Army veteran of World War II. He was owner and operator of the Ricchiardi Clothing Store from 1952 to 1998. He was a member of SS. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church, Guy Baird American Legion Post, coİfounder of the Carlinville Football Club, Carlinville VFW and the Carlinville Moose Lodge. He was awarded a Bronze Star for his military service. He was born in Virden, a son of John and Jessie Girot Ricchiardi, and graduated from Gillespie High School. He married Lena Draghi in 1940 in Hillsboro. She died in 1996. Surviving are sons, John and Larry Ricchiardi, both of Carlinville, Terry Ricchiardi of Gretna, Neb.; a sister, Victoria Auda of Gillespie; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Judith Ann Richards, sister of Joan Miller of Gillespie, died Wednesday, September 8, 1999, in Alton Memorial Hospital. She was 57 years old and a resident of Rosewood Heights. Surviving besides her sister are her husband, David; sons, Scott D. and Andrew M. Richards; two other sisters, Janet Weidler of Tempe, Ariz., and Linda Aud of New Mesa Ariz. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wood River. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Green field. Gray Funeral Home, Wood River, is in charge of arrangements.

Graveside service for Evelyn Beatrice Richardson, of Hillsboro, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, with the Rev. Rodney Blomquist, of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylorville, officiating. No visitation is planned. Plummer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Richardon died at 6:42 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 1999, in St. Francis Hospital. She was 84 years old on August 16. She was a member of the Litchfield Senior Citizens and was a 1931 graduate of Litchfield High School. She was born in Litchfield, a daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Beatrice Ruelander Talbot. She married Charles Edward Richardson on December 3, 1931, in Litchfield. He died May 4, 1969. Surviving are a son, Clinton Richardson and wife Rae Ann of Hannibal, Mo.; a daughter, Sherrilynn Graham and husband Thomas of Satsuma, Fla.; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were a son, James Richardson and a granddaughter, Rosemary Richardson.

Services for Beverly Carol Richie, formerly of Litchfield, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in The Church of the Living God, on North Harrison street. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call in the church on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Hough Funeral Home, Raymond, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Richie died at 12:41 p.m. Friday, March 12, 1999, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. She was 57 years old on August 6. She was employed as a secretary for the Secretary of State, and a graduate of Litchfield High School. She was a daughter of Adolphus and Marie Davis Bryant. Surviving are a daughter, Kelli Richie of St. Paul, Minn.; brothers and sisters, James Bryant of Peoria, Vern Bryant of Los Angeles, Calif., Ron Bryant of Denver, Colo., Stanley Bryant of St. Louis, Ariel "Butch" Bryant of Oakland, Calif., Graylin Bryant of San Raymon, Calif., Gwendolyn White of Arrowhead, Okla., Bernice Stewart of Chicago, Audrey Gipson of Atlanta, Ga., Donna Gaston of Bloomington; and a grandson, Carie Richie of St. Paul. Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Richter, Norman T.
Norman T. Richter, Sangamon county coroner for 25 years before retiring in 1996, died at 10:35 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 1999, in St. John's Hospice. He was 72 years old on April 8. His memberships included several coroners' organizations, Shriners organizations, and the Elks. He was born in Springfield, a son of Max F. and Isabella G. Temple Richter. He married Eleanor J. Judd on September 17, 1949, in Springfield; she died October 23, 1998. Surviving are a son, David Richter of Springfield; daughter, Nancy Lashbrook of Whitmore Lake, Mich.; brother, Joseph Richter of Springfield; and a granddaughter. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen street, Springfield. Services will be held there at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Richter, Orville H.
Orville Harry Richter, of Benld, died at 12:57 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 1999, in St. Francis Hospital. He was 82 years old on July 12. He owned and operated Richter Auto Repair in Washington Park, Ill., from 1945 to 1985, when he retired. He was a member of the Winstanley Baptist Church at Fairview Heights. He was born in St. Louis, a son of Charles and Ethel Mason Richter. His wife, the former Dolores Moon, survives. Surviving also are a son, Glenn Richter of Kirkwood, Mo.; brother, Walter Richter of Hollywood Heights; sister, Ethel Mae Smith of Sullivan, Mo.; and a grandson, Mark Richter of Oakville, Mo. Preceding him in death wree brothers, Raymond Richter and Charles Richter, Jr. No services are planned. The remains were donated to Washington University, St. Louis. Kravanya Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Rigoni, Doninick
Doninick Rigoni, formerly of Nokomis, died at 5 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 1998, in Decatur Memorial Hospital. He was 81 years old, and an Army veteran of World War II. A resident of Decatur, he worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company for 30 years before he retired. He was born in Staunton, a son of Antonio and Louisa Betti Rigoni. He married Jacqueline Gudehus in 1940. She died in 1948. He married Anna G. Gerhard in 1950 in Nokomis. She survives. Surviving also are a son, Nick Rigoni of Decatur; daughter, Rena Cripe of Monticello; step son, Ronald Gerhard and wife Maryann of Decatur; sisters, Pearl Gedmint and husband John of Orland Park, Mary Tenucci and husband Nello of LaGrange Park, Lena Bieszezod of Justice, Louise Shelfo and husband Joe of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. A brother, Mario Rigoni, preceded him in death.

Funeral Mass for Joan Fullerton Riley, sister of John Jurgena of Litchfield, was said at 10 a.m. today in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Decatur. Burial was in Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery at Harristown. Mrs. Riley, of Decatur, died at 7:25 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 1999, in her home. She was 56 years old on March 5. She was employed as a security officer for Caterpillar, Inc. by Guardsmark and previously worked for A.W. Cash Valve. She owned Chicken Unlimited in Decatur at one time. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, past president of Paper Workers Local 7904 and past president of the Decatur Senior Trail Riders. She was born in Hillsboro, a daughter of Joseph and Mabel Eickhoff Jurgena. Surviving are daughters, Donna Gideon of Oakley, Pam Johnson of Decatur, Mickie Fullerton of Decatur; mother, Mabel Jurgena of Pana; another brother, Dick Jurgena of Maryland, sisters, Mary Wegener of Kinmundy, Marti Harris of Springfield; and eight grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her father.

Services for Lorraine Jenne Riley, of New Douglas, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Lesicko Funeral Home there with the Rev. Father George Radosevich officiating. Burial will be in New Douglas, Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Mrs. Riley died at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 1999, in Barnes - Jewish Hospital, St. Louis. She was 75 years old on August 19. She was a waitress at various restaurants in the area before she retired. She had resided in Edwardsville and in St. Louis before moving to New Douglas in November 1976. She was born in St. Louis, a daughter of Henry and Caroline Decker. She married Edward Durham Riley Jr. on September 15, 1951 in Pocahontas, Ark. He died December 2, 1989. Surviving are daughters, Dawn Davis and husband Lawrence of St. Louis, Carolyn Martin and husband Russell of Edwardsville, Lorraine C. Baugher of New Douglas; step son, Charly Riley of Westport, N.H.; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Others surviving include a cousin, Dorothy Jinkerson and husband Robert. Preceding her in death were a son, Robert Riley.
Riley, Lois F.
Lois F. Riley, mother of Cheryl Woods of Coffeen, died Monday, August 16, 1999, in Lakeland Health Care Center, Effingham. She was 77 years old on December 28. She was born in Effingham, a daughter of John and Lillie Mathews Moore. She married Wade Riley on July 13, 1940, in St. Charles, Mo. He survives. Surviving also are two sons, two brothers, nine sisters, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Services were held today in Effingham with burial in Arborcrest Memorial Park there. The family suggests memorials be made to Alzheimer's or the American Cancer Society.
