Lowell Richard Brunson

Lowell Richard Brunson, 83, of Anderson, died Nov. 25 at Community Hospital in Anderson.
He was born Feb. 12, 1927, in Wilkinson, a son of the late Robert E. and Edna (Estell) Brunson.
Mr. Brunson retired in 1970 from Delco Remy in Anderson after 27 years of service. He was also employed by Water loo in Missouri for 10 years. He was a member of the VFW in Anderson.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Ann (husband, David) Stohler of Anderson and Carolyn Sue (husband, Marshall) Needler of Woodbridge, Va.; two sons, Charles E. Brunson and Robert R. Brunson of Anderson; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Lee Brunson and Doyle Steven Brunson; a brother, Marvin Brunson; a former wife, Pearlie Lorine Vanderhoof; and two great-grandchildren, Angel and Amanda Kocher.
Military graveside services took place Nov. 30 at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown with Pastor Jim Boicourt officiating.
Beverly J. Foster
November 27, 1933 - November 27, 2010
Beverly J. Foster, 77, of Wilkinson, died Nov. 27 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
She was born Nov. 27, 1933, in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Wayne and Mary (Neidhamer) Robertson.
Mrs. Foster retired from the Eastern Hancock School Corporation in 2003. She was a member of Wilkinson Church of Christ, Wilkinson Brotherhood and Sisterhood, and the Lilac Literary Club. She enjoyed playing cards, working at the election polls and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbe Nichols of New Palestine and Tamme (husband, Danny) Jenkins of Greenfield; a son, Rick (wife, Brenda) Foster of Wilkinson; a sister, Sharon Halphin of Noblesville; a brother, Wayne Robertson, Jr., of Lawrence; seven grandchildren, Larry Peacock, Tiffany and Brandon Nichols, Eric and John Jenkins and Logan and Lyndsi Foster; and a great-grandchild, Nolan Peacock.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Foster.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Kurt Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Frances Lanetta Morgan-Dudley

Frances Lanetta Morgan-Dudley, 90, of Carthage, died Nov. 25 at her home.
She was born March 5, 1920, in Rush County, a daughter of the late Willie David and Mary Susan (Hiner) Adams.
Mrs. Morgan-Dudley was a 1938 Manilla High School graduate. She became a member of Homer Christian Church in 1929 and transferred her membership to Center Christian Church in 1948. An active member of Loyal Workers, Mrs. Morgan-Dudley also served as a vacation Bible school teacher, Sunday school secretary-treasurer, co-founder of the church nursery and a 4-H leader. Mrs. Morgan-Dudley retired from the Indiana Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Children’s Home, where she served as a nurse for 26 years. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening, trav- eling and sending cards to family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene H. Dudley; six children, David Monroe of Milford, Linda Sue (Morgan) Weaver of Lebanon, Nancy Kay (husband, Bill) Erwin of Knightstown, Beth Elaine (husband, Cassil) Andrews of Mays, Mary Louise Brown of Mays and Ellen Frances Scott of Fishers; 21 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and four step great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Hugh E. Morgan; a granddaughter, Alison Frances Morgan Kline; a great-grandson, Darrick A. Wright; a sister, Irma Giese; and two brothers, Lowell Adams and Wayne Adams.
Funeral services were Nov. 29 at Center Christian Church with Pastors Bill Worrell and Darryl D. Denney officiating. Burial followed at Center Christian Cemetery. Visitation was Nov. 28 at the church.

Candace M. Wilson
September 17, 1953 - November 25, 2010
Candace M. Wilson, 57, of Knightstown, died Nov. 25 at her home.
She was born Sept. 17, 1953, in Greenfield, a daughter of the late Frederick and Thelma Miller.
A lifelong Indiana resident, Mrs. Wilson was a nurse for 30 years. She worked in various hospital departments, including intensive care, emergency room and the transplant unit. She was a 20-year nursing supervisor at Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle. Known as a devout Christian, Mrs. Wilson enjoyed spending time out doors. She was a member of Wilkinson Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. James Wilson of Knightstown; three sons, Abraham, Daniel and Noah Wilson; three brothers, Thomas Miller, Mark Miller and Daniel Miller; three sisters-in-law; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Nov. 30 at Wilkinson Church of Christ with Pastor Ryan McCarty officiating, as well as Wayne and Fred Harting. Burial followed at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation was Nov. 29 at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Abraham, Noah and Daniel Wilson Educational Fund.
Barbara A. Lowhorn
March 22, 1938 - December 3, 2010
Barbara A. Lowhorn, 72, of rural Cambridge City, died Dec. 3 at Reid Hospital in Richmond.
She was born March 22, 1938, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Sam and Effie Gertrude (Carr) Mercer.
A lifelong Henry County resident, Mrs. Lowhorn was a 1956 Lewisville High School graduate. She worked in the Tri High School cafeteria, Jody’s Restaurant in Centerville and Kentucky Fried Chicken in New Lisbon. Known as a loving wife and mother, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing euchre. Mrs. Lowhorn attended Straughn Community Chapel and was a member of the church’s women’s fellowship group. She was also a member of the Dublin Community Club.
Survivors include her husband, Paul M. Lowhorn; six sons, Terry Lowhorn of New Braunfels, Texas, Tony Lowhorn of Cambridge City, Jeff (wife, Paula) Lowhorn of New Lisbon, David (wife, Stacie) Lowhorn of New Castle, Jim (wife, Angela) Lowhorn of Evans, Ga., and Darin Lowhorn of Lewisville; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul (wife, Nikki) Mercer and Carey (wife, Jama) Mercer, all of Lewisville; two sisters, Willesden (husband, Glen) Smith of Williams, and Suda Gunter of Byrdstown, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Mary Mercer of Straughn; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, R.D. Mercer, Kenneth Earl Mercer and Dale Mercer; a sister, Anna Thompson; a granddaughter, Mackenzie Paige Lowhorn; and a great-granddaughter, Berkley Jo-Ann Lowhorn.
Funeral services were Dec. 8 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin with Revs. Rob Rasor and Mick Saunders officiating. Burial followed at Lewisville Cemetery in Lewisville.

Clyde Junior Kelley

Clyde Junior Kelley, 86, of Knightstown, died Nov. 29 at Regency Place in Greenfield.
He was born Feb. 8, 1924, in Blooming Grove, a son of the late Clyde Vincent and Lulu (Pilchard) Kelley.
Mr. Kelley attended Franklin County schools and later worked as an assembler at Philco-Ford in Connersville for 14 years. After retirement, he moved to Knightstown. Mr. Kelley was a member of Carthage Early Methodist Church and a former member of First Church of the Nazarene in Connersville. He enjoyed listening to music, traveling, and electrical projects, having been a self-taught electrician.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Louise Kelley of Knightstown; seven children, Joseph Wayne (wife, Wanda) Kelley of Connersville, Betty Lou (husband, Woody) Oliver of Connersville, Rev. James Darrell (wife, Teresa) Kelly of Louisville, Ky., Naomi Ruth (husband, Tom) Blessenger of Carthage, Michael David (wife, Janice) Kelley of Connersville, Marilyn Faye (husband, John) Price of Brownsburg and Bonnie Denise (husband, Ronnie) Isaac of Center Point; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Kelley of Connersville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Ricky Dale Kelley; three brothers, Donald Kelley, Clarence Kelley and Raymond Kelley; and a sister, Opal Payton.
Funeral services were Dec. 3 at Miller Moster Robbins Funeral Home in Connersville with Rev. James Kelley and Pastor Peter Casalino officiating. Burial followed at Sims New Fairfield Cemetery in Franklin County. Visitation was Dec. 2 at the funeral home.

Lt. Cmdr. Robert Carl Rihm
October 22, 1921 - November 29, 2010
Lt. Cmdr. Robert Carl Rihm, formerly of Knightstown, died Nov. 29.
He was born Oct. 22, 1921, in Knightstown, a son of the late Carl Michael and Norma Mary Rihm.
Mr. Rihm graduated from the University of Notre Dame and was known as an active alumnus. A member of the Catholic church, he was active there and also served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Stella Cliché Rihm; four children, Carol, Joyce, David and Norma; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Rihm.
In addition to his grandparents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Bethann.
Funeral services were Dec. 2 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Temple Terrace, Fla. Burial will take place in June at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
