Norma Jean Noble

Norma Jean Noble, 72, of Knightstown, died August 22.
She was born April 19, 1936, in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Jesse James and Ollie Mae (Loveall) Thompson.
Mrs. Noble was a beautician who owned and operated Norma Jean’s Beauty Salon for several years in Knightstown. She worked at Western Electric and Flat Rock River Lodge. Mrs. Noble was known as a person who enjoyed painting, hummingbirds and spending time outdoors. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Norman E. Noble of Knightstown; a daughter, Brenda Jean (husband, Bobby) Eoff of Knightstown; a stepdaughter, Karen (husband, Jeff) Geiger of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren, Breanna Jean and Bryce Michael Eoff of Knightstown and Ethan Jeffrey, Adam Richard and Jared Michael Geiger of Dayton; a sister, Phyllis (husband, Romie) Littleton of Knightstown; three nieces, Sandy Littleton, Nova Anderson and Marshelle Sims; and three nephews, Romie Littleton Jr., Tim Littleton and Rodney Littleton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Wayne Allen Estell.
Funeral services were August 25 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown with Pastor Randy Gross officiating. Burial followed in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation was August 24 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Lois Elaine Ray
Feb. 24, 1921 – Aug. 25, 2008
Lois Elaine Ray, 87, of New Castle, died August 25 at The Waters of New Castle.
She was born Feb. 24, 1921, in Cadiz, a daughter of the late Loren and Letha (Bolen) Ray.
Mrs. Ray was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of Kennard Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy (wife, Deborah) Ray of Troy, Ohio, and Steven (wife, Carol) Ray of Lilburn, Ga.; two daughters, Leslie Rider of Anderson and Nancy Rogers of Arvada, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max Ray; and a brother, Richard Zirkle.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 28, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown with Marion McFarland officiating. Visitation is 12-1 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Henry County Memorial Hospital Hospice.
Robert R. Bradshaw
June 6, 1958 – Aug. 23, 2008
Robert R. Bradshaw, 50, of Knightstown, died August 23 in Indianapolis.
He was born June 6, 1958, in Lebanon, a son of the late Robert R. and Helen (Saulmon) Bradshaw, Sr.
Mr. Bradshaw was a member of Fletcher United Methodist Church in Carthage where he was a lay leader and played drums in the Praise Band. His passion was playing drums, but he also enjoyed reading and fishing. He was a former employee of Complete Restoration in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his wife, Lou Ann Bradshaw of Knightstown; a son, Craig Bradshaw of Knightstown; four daughters, Lisa (husband, Donnie) Smith of Indianapolis, Mandy Bradshaw of Indianapolis, Elizabeth (husband, Larry Jr.) Lewman of Knightstown and Alysa Bradshaw of Knightstown; four grandchildren, Triston Melton, Barbara Smith, Draven Smith and Natalie Lewman; a sister, Cathy Prentice of Lafayette; and two brothers, Tony Bradshaw of Indianapolis and Mark (wife, Jennifer) Bradshaw of Charlottesville.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 28, at Fletcher United Methodist Church in Carthage with Pastor Roger Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, at the church. Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown is handling arrangements.
Mary Martha Dudley
June 14, 1917 – Sept.8, 2008
Mary Martha Dudley, 91, of Markleville, died September 8 at her home.
She was born June 14, 1917, in Anderson, a daughter of the late Irvin and Ida (Crump) Marsh.
Mrs. Dudley retired from Naval Avionics in Indianapolis, where she served as a computer librarian. She was a member of Markleville Amvets Ladies Auxiliary 25 and Markleville Eastern Star Chapter 363.
Survivors include her son, David M. Dudley of Markleville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; a son, Daniel M. Dudley; and three brothers, John, Forrest and Richard Marsh.
Funeral services were September 12 at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson Burial followed at Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Eastern Star memorial services took place prior to funeral services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Lola Brammer
March 3, 1922 – Sept. 7, 2008
Lola Brammer, 86, of Longmont, Colo., died September 7 at Peaks Care Center in Longmont.
She was born March 3, 1922, in Muses Hill, Ky., a daughter of the late Andrew and Ethel (Kirk) Dunaway.
Mrs. Brammer attended a one-room school house in Muses Mill through the eighth grade. She married Lyle Brammer of Knightstown on Jan. 1, 1939. Most her life was devoted to raising her three sons and a grandson. She had various jobs, including Wayne’s Café, Montgomery Ward and Co., and K-Mart, all in Boulder, Colo. Mrs. Brammer was known for her love of sports. She especially enjoyed watching her sons play sports while growing up in Boulder, and later her grandson on Longmont. She was an avid Broncos, Nuggets and Rockies fan who, when possible, watched every game from start to finish.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Brammer of Longmont and Keith (wife, Laurie) Brammer of New Berlin, Wisc.; two grandsons, Brent Brammer of Anaheim, Cal., and Chris (wife, Stacy) Brammer of Arvada, Colo; five great-grandchildren; and three former daughters-in-law, Gail Squires of Boulder, Sharon Brammer of Lyons, Colo., and Pam Brammer of Longmont.
Private graveside services were September 12 at Foothills Garden of Memory with Chaplain Len Schreiner officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Front Range Hospice, 215 Cheeseman St., Suite H., P.O. Box 724, Erie, CO 80516.
Maudrae Craig
Jan. 21, 1926 – Sept. 9, 2008
Maudrae Craig, 82, of Greenfield, died September 9 at her home.
She was born Jan. 21, 1926, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Frank and Mattie (Bolden) Rickard.
Mrs. Craig worked at RCA as a quality controller before retiring in 1986. She enjoyed sewing and was an avid camper.
Survivors include her husband, Herman; two sons, Jack Craig of Pembroke Pines, Fla., and Mark (wife, June) Craig of Thomasville, Ga.; a daughter, Nancy Craig of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Jeremy Craig, Jeff Craig and Ellie Rae Craig; a brother, Robert (wife, Gwynn) Rickard of Mooresville; a sister, Bonnie Jean Wolski of Spiceland; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were September 13 at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Pastor Paul Enyart officiating. Burial followed at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation was September 12 at the fuenral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hancock County Hospice.
William T. Wolfenberger
April 16, 1941 – Sept. 12, 2008
William T. Wolfenberger, 67, of Pendleton, died September 12 at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson.
He was born April 16, 1941, in Beech Grove, a son of the late Willard and Kathleen (O’Neil) Wolfenberger.
Mr. Wolfenberger retired from Roadway Express in Muncie, where he worked as a truck driver for 31 years. He was a member of Pendleton Masonic Lodge #44 and Teamsters Union Local #135. He also served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon (McDaniel) Wolfenberger of Pendleton; a son, Chris (wife, Shana) Wolfenberger; a granddaughter, Zoey; a sister, Barbara (husband, Thomas) Bush of Speedway; two brothers, Joseph (wife, Sharon) Wolfenberger of Indianapolis and Larry (wife, Ingy) Wolfenberger of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Loren Wolfenberger.
Private family graveside services will be held at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson at a later date.
