Betty McMaster, 74, of Greenfield, died April 19 in Pendleton.
She was born Feb. 15, 1933, in Greenfield, a daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (Mitchell) White.
Mrs. McMaster was a member of Stringtown Nazarene Church in Greenfield.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Riley of Pendleton; a son, David McMaster of Monrovia; a sister, Phyllis Downs of Anderson; a brother, Billy White of Greenfield; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were April 23 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Jack Downs officiating. Burial followed in Grove Cemetery in Pendleton. Marjorie T. Addison

Marjorie T. Addison, 94, of New Castle, died April 18 at Heritage House in New Castle.
She was born May 22, 1912, in Owen County, a daughter of the late Esta and Ina Mae (Lewis) Buchanan.
Mrs. Addison served as postmaster at the Charlottesville Post Office for 35 years, eventually retiring from the position. She was one of the first women in the area to have a rural mail delivery route. She and her husband, Robert, also owned a grocery store in Charlottesville. Mrs. Addison was a member of Charlottesville Christian Church and a charter member of American War Mothers. She enjoyed animals and playing cards.
Survivors include a son, Robert Addison of Spiceland; a granddaughter, Robin (husband, Duane) Smiley; a great-grandson, Douglas Smiley; a sister, Patricia (husband, James) Copeland of Spiceland; a brother-in-law, Leroy May; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Addison; an infant daughter; a sister, Marcile May; and a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Addison.
Funeral services were April 23 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with David Brock officiating. Burial followed in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown. Visitation was April 23 at the funeral home.
Bijou Knock

Bijou Knock, 93, of Zanesville, Ohio, died April 13 at Summerville Inn in Ohio.
She was born Dec. 20, 1913, in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of the late Fred and Edna (Stoffer) Stockton.
Mrs. Knock was a 1936 graduate of the University of Dubuque. She was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Zanesville, a church formed when Rev. H. Calvin Knock worked to encourage several Presbyterian churches in Zanesville to unite. During her life, Mrs. Knock was a volunteer for Each One Teach One. She was also a past president of the Council of Church Women United and a member of the following boards: Federated Womens Clubs of America, YMCA Auxiliary in Vincennes, Westminster House in New Castle and Eastside Community Ministries. She also served as an elder at Central Presbyterian Church in Zanesville. Mrs. Knock was also a librarian and was active in several genealogical organizations. Mrs. Knock donated her body to Ohio State University for medical research.
Rev. and Mrs. Knock served at the following churches: a three-point charge in South Dakota (1937-1938), First Presbyterian Church in Luverne, Minn. (1938-1944), First Presbyterian Church in Scottsbluff, Neb. (1944-1953), United Presbyterian Church in Tecumseh, Neb. (1953-1956), First Presbyterian Church in Vincennes (1956-1967), and Bethel Presbyterian Church in Knightstown (1967-1975).
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Lu Walters of Cincinnati and Marybeth (husband, Dr. Martin L.) Curtis of Zanesville; two sons, James Michael Knock of Fairfax, Va., and John Richard (wife, Naomi Phillips) Knock of Arcadia, Penn.; nine grandchildren, Trisha (husband, Steve) Alaniz, Debbie (husband, Robert) Quinn, Tom (wife, Theresa) Walters, Mona Knock, Benjamin Knock, Benji (wife, Michelle) Curtis, Brad (wife, Miwwako) Curtis, Tim Curtis and Aaron Phillips Knock; and nine great-grandchildren, Rhiannon and Brian Knapp, Katie and Kevin Quinn, John and Elizabeth Walters and Alex, Anna and Austin Curtis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lincoln Stockton; and her husband, Rev. H. Calvin Knock.

Julia Kay Roberts

Julia Kay Roberts, 66, of Indianapolis, died April 30 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born Aug. 22, 1940, in Anderson, a daughter of the late Ira and Cuma (Sumner) Roberts.
Mrs. Roberts was known as a cherished mother and grandmother. A graduate of Wilkinson High School and Ball State University, she served the Indiana Harness Racing Industry for 20 years. Mrs. Roberts retired as executive director of the ISA in 2006. She received the Indiana Sagamore of the Wabash and Kentucky Colonel awards, as well as various other honors for outstanding service to the standard-bred racing industry. Mrs. Roberts attended several different United Methodist churches and was an active support of breast cancer research.
Survivors include a daughter, Kristin (husband, David) Blankenship of Indianapolis; a son, David (wife, Alisa) Perrel of Anderson; five grandchildren; three brothers, Eddie Roberts of Pendleton, Richard Roberts of Wilkinson and Charles Roberts of Wilkinson; a sister, June Neal of Wilkinson; several nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Dr. Neil Perrel of Muncie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Rainey.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday, May 4, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Brad Bonnett officiating. Burial will follow in Eden Cemetery. Anetia C. (Caudill) Shore, 79, of Knightstown, died April 29 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
She was born Sept. 15, 1927, in Morehead, Ky., a daughter of the late Charles and Ida (Quesenberry) Caudill.
Mrs. Shore was a lifelong homemaker and a mother. She attended Faith Chapel Independent Baptist Church and she enjoyed sewing and cooking.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, William J. Shore of Knightstown; a son, Roger (wife, Cindy) Shore of Indianapolis; three brothers, Charles Caudill Jr., of Knightstown, Isaac Caudill of Winchester, Ky., and Robert Caudill of Louisville, Ky.; a sister, Anna Lewman of Knightstown; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Vernon Cox, Earl Caudill and Les Caudill; and a sister, Dorothy Basford.
Funeral services are Thursday, May 3, at 11 a.m. at Condo & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Gross officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. John L. Trieschman

John L. Trieschman, 61, of Greenfield, died April 29 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
He was born Dec. 1, 1945, in Henry County, a son of the late Harlan and Ossie (Flowers) Trieschman.
Mr. Trieschman had worked at Jefferson-Smurfit container corporation in Carthage and the Charles A. Beard Memorial School Corporation before retiring from the Indiana Department of Transportation. He married his wife, Norma, on June 27, 1967. A member of Lewisville Wesleyan Church and the Lions Club, he also served as a Cub Scout leader. Mr. Trieschman enjoyed fishing, portraying a clown at various local events and spending time with his grandson, Tyler.
Survivors include his wife, Norma of Knightstown; a daughter, Penny (husband, Michael) Elam of Greenfield; a grandson, Tyler Elam of Greenfield; a brother, Bruce (wife, Mary) Trieschman of Knightstown; a sister, Cathy Trieschman of McCordsville; an aunt, Alva (husband, Joe) Sells of Byrdstown, Tenn.; four nephews; and a cousin.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown with Rev. Charles Stroud officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Betty Stone, 70, of New Castle, died April 28 at her home.
She was born Sept. 25, 1932, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Clyde and Alice (Phillips) Polson.
Mrs. Stone worked at Harvest Market and Wal-Mart in New Castle.
Survivors include three daughters, Rebecca (husband, Michael) Sunjka of Mayhill, N.M., Vickie Jo Wood of New Castle and Anita (husband, Scott) McFalls of New Castle; a son, Michael Stone of New Castle; a granddaughter, Michelle Atkinson; and a grandson, David Stone; a sister, Judy (husband, Keith) Blevins of Oklahoma; a brother, Earl (wife, Pat) Polson of Centerville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Polson.
Private funeral services were her recently. Burial followed in South Mound Cemetery in New Castle. Main & Davis Funeral Home in New Castle were in charge of arrangements.
