Gary Livingston

Gary Livingston, 52, of Owatonna, Minn. died Sunday, February 20 at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born January 27, 1953 in New Castle, a son of the late James and Mary Livingston. Mr. Livingston was raised in Knightstown and graduated from Knightstown High School.
Survivors include his daughters, Nicole and Shauna Livingston, his sons, Brian and Michael Livingston, all of Owatonna; brothers Jerry Livingston of Knightstown, Tony Bovard of New Castle; sisters Theresa Gridder of New Castle and Donna (Eddie) Shelton of Greenfield; stepmother Janet Livingston of New Castle.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Livingston was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Livingston.
Services were held Friday, February 25 at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna, with burial in St. John Cemetery, Owatonna.
Denise L Keller
Apr. 4, 1955 – Mar. 3, 2005
Denise L. Keller, 49, a resident of Greenfield, died March 3 at Kindred Hospital in Greenwood. She was born April 4, 1955 in Greenfield and is the daughter of Mary (McNally) Keller and the late Robert Keller.
Ms. Keller is survived by her mother, Mary Keller of Greenfield, a brother, David Keller of Greenfield, a sister, Kathy (husband James) Gillam of Knightstown, two nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Keller and two sisters, Phyllis Ann Keller and Linda Keller.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, March 8 at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Arrangements were handled by Condo & Son Funeral Home, Wilkinson.
Audrey A. Gillam
Oct. 5, 1931 – Mar. 10, 2005
Audrey A. Gillam, 73, of Indianapolis, died Thursday, March 10, 2005. Ms. Gillam was born October 5, 1931 in Henry County, the daughter of the late Charles and Pearlie M. Barber Gillam.
Ms. Gillam was a graduate of Short Ridge High School. She retired from the Indianapolis Post Office where she worked as a clerk for many years.
Survivors include one brother, Dewey H. (wife Nancy) Gillam of Anderson and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 15 at Todd Funeral Home Butcher Chapel in Knightstown with Chris Sitler officiating. Burial followed at Glen Cove Cemetery.
Gwendolyn R. Hinkle
July 24, 1921 – Mar. 12 2005
Knightstown resident, Gwendolyn R. Hinkle, 83, died Saturday, March 12 at Hancock Memorial Hospital. She was born July 24, 1921 in Henry County, the daughter of the late Omar E. and Audrey Hoppes Riley.
Gwendolyn retired in 1976 from Guide Light in Anderson. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and Altar Society in Knightstown.
Survivors include one daughter, Jana (Mrs. Joseph) Knott of Straughn; two sisters, Helen (Mrs. Dale) Sipes of Greenfield, and Phyllis (Mrs. John) Graybiel of Shreveport, La.; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She married Lowell K. Hinkle in 1937 and he preceded her in death in 1981. In addition to her parents, one son, one daughter, two brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, March 16 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Knightstown with Rev. Bill Ehalt officiating. Burial followed in Mechanicsburg, Ind. Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 15 at Todd Funeral Home Butcher Chapel, Knightstown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
Ina Jean Plank
Nov. 16, 1919 – Mar. 12, 2005
Ina Jean Plank, 84, died Saturday, March 12, 2005. She was born in Knightstown on November 16, 1919.
Ina was a paralegal for Yockey, Yockey & Yockey and was a member of the Irvington Presbyterian Church and the E.O.S. in Dayton, Ohio.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Miller, sister, Virginia McShirley; seven nieces; one nephew and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Wilma and Roy Ledbetter.
Services were held Tuesday, March 15 at the Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, Indianapolis.
Visitation was Monday, March 14.
LaVada Ann Lakin
June 10, 1935 – Mar. 9, 2005
LaVada Ann Lakin, 69, a resident of Rushville, died on Wednesday, March 9 at Rushville Memorial Hospital. She was born June 10, 1935 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Vada Hall and Thelma Henderson.
LaVada was a homemaker, having lived most of her life in Rushville. She graduated from Rushville High School in 1953. She was active in the Rushville American Legion and the Rushville Eagles Auxiliary. LaVada was a member of the Main Street Christian Church.
She married Jack Lakin on August 15, 1956, and he survives. Also surviving are daughters Lisa Seaborn, Rushville, Mrs. Andy (Lori) Johnson, Dunreith, Leanna Wells (fiancé Rusty Addison), Carthage, Mrs. Dallas (Jackie) Harris, Mays; brothers Robert Hall, Orem, Utah, John Hall, Dunreith, Tom Hall, Rushville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Friday, March 11 at Moster & Cox Mortuary, Rushville with Pastor Deann Anderson officiating. Burial followed in East Hill Cemetery, Rushville.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Joe Sheehan Cancer Association in care of the Rush County Memorial Hospital.
Vicky Lynn Gottschalk
Dec. 31, 1953 – Mar. 11 2005
Vicky Lynn Gottschalk, 51, of Centerville, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 11 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born December 31, 1953 in Richmond.
Vicky was co-owner of Steve’s Finer Foods in Carthage.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Steve Gottschalk of Centerville; one daughter, Sarah Beckman of Indianapolis; one son, Christopher Gottschalk of Centerville; her mother, Donna Necessary of Richmond; six brothers, David Reid of Richmond, Jim Burdette of Centerville, Rick Burdette of Richmond, Robin Necessary of Cincinnati, Ohio, Terry Necessary of Hollandsburg, Ohio, Kevin Necessary of Richmond, and several nieces and nephews.
Vicky was preceded in death by her grandparents Rex and Jewel Gifford.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 16 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, Richmond, with Rev. Charles McMahan officiating.
Visitation was Tuesday, March 15.
