A farewell dinner was given Sunday
for Mr. and Mrs. Gus Paul of
Sharpsville at the home ol Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Woods in this vicinity.
Mr. and Mrs. Woods will leave for
California about April 1 where they
will make their home. Those present
for dinner at noon - were Mr. and

A birthday dinner was given Sunday
at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Max Hale in honor of the birthdays
of Mr. Hale, Shirley Glenn and
Helen Conway. Those present were
Mr. and Mrs. John Glenn and
daughter Nancy and sons Malcom
and Albert, Mr. and Mrs. Loren
Maggart of this vicinity, Mr. and
Mrs. Shirley Glenn, Miss Phyllis
Whitkemper of Elwood, Mr. and
Mrs. Lee Eikenberry and family of
near Forest.
Good Samaritan Hospital
Mrs. Nellie Toomey, 1011 North
Webster street, was admitted for
medical treatment Wednesday
morning:.
Mrs. Dale Ferguson, of Flora,
was admitted for medical treatment
Tuesday evening.
The following patients have been
removed to their homes: Mrs. L. J.
Morgan, 1630 South Buckeye street;
Mrs. Floyd Hawley and twins, 1032
East Havens; Mrs. Will C. Davis,
Route 5, Lebanon, and Mrs. Lena
Scheid and baby, 1124 North Philips
street.
