Survivors include a daughter, Carrie M. Kerns of Mishawaka; two sons, Michael A. McKay of Oconomowoc, Wis., and Tommy D. Kerns of Mishawaka; her parents, Connie J. Allman of Terre Haute, Ind., and Thomas S. Jernigan of Bradenton, Fla.; two sisters, Tabatha L. Helms and Tammy R. Griffith, both of Terre Haute; and a brother, Jeffrey A. Jernigan of Elkhart.
