Marilyn Osborn
July 23, 1935 - July 12, 2007
Marilyn Osborn, 71, 317 East 13th Street, Winamac, died July 12 at St. Joseph Medical Center in South Bend. She was born July 23, 1935, in Gary, to Patrick and Lilah Welch Dodd.
Marilyn was an avid Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame sports fan. She spent most of her life living in the towns of Ober, Knox, and Winamac.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Osborn of Carmel and Jon Osborn of Arlington, Texas; two granddaughters, Suzanne Osborn and Katie Osborn; two grandsons Chaz Osborn and Jeremy Osborn. She was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Dodd and her mother, Lilah (Welch) Dodd.
Memorial services will be held at Frain Mortuary in Winamac on Wednesday, July 18 at 11 a.m., with Pastor John McDugle officiating. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 18 at Frain Mortuary.
Morris L. Fagner
November 15, 1943 - July 21, 2007
Morris L. Fagner, 63, of 4944 West 100 North, Winamac, died July 21, 2007 at his residence in Winamac. He was born November 15, 1943, in Winamac, the son of Russell and Annabelle Mae Pennington Fagner.
On August 19,1967 in Winamac, he married A. Faye Rife. She survives.
Morris was a member of the Bethel Bible Church in Winamac and the Winamac Lion's Club. He was also a member of the Pulaski County Emergency Management Alliance and Local Emergency Planning Committee of Pulaski County. He worked as an accountant at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Grace College, Cosco (Columbus, Ind.), and he was the Deputy Director of the Pulaski County Emergency Management Agency.
Morris enjoyed time spent with his children and grandchildren. He liked being outdoors and working with farm animals. He enjoyed listening to southern gospel music as well as singing. Morris enjoyed cooking and being involved with food service. For many years he was active in church events and involved in church retreats.
Survivors include: his wife, A. Faye Rife Fagner of Winamac; his mother, Annabelle Mae Pennington Fagner of Winamac; three daughters: Angela Beth Fox of Winamac, Sherry L. Fagner of Winamac, Melody Faye Perez of Columbus, Ind; two sons: Scott Richard [Beth] Fagner of Kewanna and Jason Timothy Fagner of Winamac; a brother, Marshall R. [Ann] Fagner of Winamac; four granddaughters: Brittany Fox, Becki Fox, Alyssa Fagner, Lydia Fagner; two grandsons: Noah Perez and Levi Fagner; two aunts: Marguerite Fagner and Viola Borgman; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Orville Fagner.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. EDT Thursday, July 26, 2007, in Bethel Bible Church, Winamac, with Pastor Dave Wolfe and Pastor Darrell Bendorf officiating. Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. EDT Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at Frain Mortuary and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in the Winamac Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the family. .
Cletha M. Kestle
December 19, 1908 - July 21, 2007
Cletha M. Kestle, 98, of 4163 North 215 East, Winamac, died July 21, 2007 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac. She was born December 19, 1908 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Wood and Cleona (Michael) Lane.
On May 18, 1927, she married Gerald Clayton Kestle in Logansport. He died August 30, 1968.
Cletha was a member of Tippecanoe Christian Church since 1923. She played piano at the church for 60 years. She was the Busy Beavers girls 4-H club leader for 33 years. Cletha was an active member of the PMH Auxiliary for 25 years. She was the cook at the Beaver Township school for many years, and served as the Beaver Township Trustee for 20 years. Cletha enjoyed reading, listening to music, dining out,gardening, long drives in the country and visiting with family, friends and neighbors. She had read through the Bible several times.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Margaret [Robert] Boyd of Carmel; two sons: James [Clara] Kestle of Winamac and Gerald Lee [Michele] Kestle of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and a sister, Elizabeth [Lane] Joseph of Logansport. She was preceded in death by her father, Wood Lane, her mother, Cleona (Michael) Lane, her husband, Gerald Clayton Kestle, two brothers: Jack and Floyd Lane; and three sisters: Agatha Shem, Imogene Freeman, and Arlene Lane.
Funeral services will be held at Tippecanoe Christian Church in Winamac, today, Wednesday, July 25 at 11 a.m. EDT by Rev. Edward Clark. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. EDT on Tuesday at Frain Mortuary, and will be one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Burial will take place in the Tippecanoe Cemetery in Winamac.
Memorial contributions may be given to Tippecanoe Christian Church. .
William Clifton
September 30, 1970 - July 11, 2007
William Clifton, 75, of Kokomo, died July 14, 2007.
Arrangements are pending at Ellers Funeral Home on Webster Street in Kokomo.

Rosemary M. Busch
July 3, 1926 - July 26, 2007
Mrs. Rosemary M. Busch, 81, 101 Constitution Drive in Francesville, died July 26, 2007 at Parkview Haven. She was born July 3, 1926 in Francesville, the daughter of John and Alvena Tiede Stamer. On June 28, 1947 at her parents' home in Francesville, she married Arthur R. Busch. Arthur died on March 13, 2002.
Rosemary was a member of St. James-Salem United Church of Christ in Francesville and was a member of the ladies guild as well Bible study groups of the church. Rosemary taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of the Happy Homemaker Home-Ec club. Rosemary was voted Homemaker of the Year in 1998. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Rosemary enjoyed sewing and crafts.
Survivors include: seven daughters: Sandy [Ralph] Burns of Rockville, Ind., Nancy [Doug] Fox of Royal Center, Sheryl [Fred] Fritz of Francesville, Bonnie [Chuck] Meyer of Brookston, Linda [Bruce] Novak of Fort Wayne, Patty [Denny] Pfledderer of Francesville, Diane [Mark] Cervenka of Francesville; 23 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Emogene [Lamoine] Hooker. She was preceded in death by: her father, John Stamer; her mother, Alvena I. Tiede Stamer Kruger; and her husband, Arthur R. Busch.
Services were held on July 28, 2007, at St. James-Salem United Church of Christ in Francesville, with Rev. Edward Clark officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the St. James-Salem United Church of Christ, Parkview Haven, or Alzheimers Association.
Elizabeth B. Laubhan
March 13, 1920 - July 26, 2007
Elizabeth B. Laubhan, 87, 611 South Market Street in Winamac, died July 26, 2007 at her residence. She was born March 13, 1920 in Mobile, Ala., the daughter of Edwin and Linda (Moog) Beane.
In August 1946 in Chicago, she married Maurice A. Laubhan. He died in September of 1969.
Elizabeth was a member of the University of Illinois Alumni Association. She had worked as a physiologist for the Dupage County, Ill. Department of Corrections. She was a homemaker and enjoyed volunteering in her community. Elizabeth enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and spending time with her cats.
Survivors include: a daughter, Deb [Bill] Kasten of Winamac; a son, Kent Maurice [Marzy] Laubhan of Winamac; three grandsons: Maurice Kasten, Chad Kasten, Jason Kasten; three grandaugthters: Nina Drajin, Ashley Tennison, Amanda Sutton; eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her father, Edwin A. Beane; her mother, Linda Moog Beane; her husband, Maurice A. Laubhan; a brother: Edwin A. Beane Jr.
No visitation or services are scheduled.

Chris Edward Ols
June 22, 1930 - July 24, 2007
Chris Edward Ols, 77, 557 East 200 South, Winamac, died on July 24, 2007 at his residence. He was born June 22, 1930, in Knox, the son of Chris and Pauline Fisher Ols.
On November 8, 1954 in Michigan City, he married Roseann Hein. She survives.
Chris was a member of the Indiana Carpenters Union Local 615 in Kokomo, for 55 years. He was also a member of the FOE 2850 in Winamac. Chris was an assistant superintendent for the Kittlehut Construction Co. in Lafayette. Chris enjoyed woodworking and restoring old tractors and displaying them at the Power from the Past show. Chris had a large collection of canes that he hand crafted for himself.
Survivors include: his wife, Roseann Hein Ols of Winamac; a daughter, Margaret [Michael] Reid of Star City; a son, Chris [Lee] Ols of Greentown, two brothers: John Ols of Portage, Paul Ols of Knox; seven sisters: Patty Matzat of Knox, Mary Ann Schroeder of Michigan City, Jean Phistry of Knox, Jane Ols of Knox, Dollie Matzat, of Niles, Betty Hollandsworth of Valparaiso, Joan Ols of Knox; six grandchildren; and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his father, Chris Alfred Ols and his mother, Pauline E. Fisher Ols.
Graveside services were held on July 28, 2007, in St. Peter's Cemetery, Winamac, with Rev. Bert Woolson officiating. Military graveside services were conducted.
Memorials may be given to the Pulaski Memorial Hospital Hospice.
