Lois Ann Querry, 71, of 288 East State Road 16, Monon, IN, passed away at 12:49 AM Thursday, July 19, 2007 in her residence.
She was born July 27, 1935, in Lafayette, IN, to Howard and Marguerite Kellogg Johnson.
She married Devon Querry on Sept. 2, 1955, in Monon, IN. He survives.
She was a member of the Monon United Methodist Church,and Tri-Kappa.
She was a retired Dental Hygienist. She had worked for Dr. Border and Dr. Lungren.
She lived in Monon most of her life.
She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening and reading.
She enjoyed her grandchildren.

Friends may call 5-8PM EDT Saturday, July 21, 2007, and after 1PM Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Monon United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in the Bedford Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Monon United Methodist Church.

Marilyn Osborn, 71, of 317 East 13th Street, Winamac, IN, passed away at 3:30 PM Thursday, July 12, 2007 at St. Joseph Medical Center in South Bend, IN.
She was born July 23, 1935, in Gary, IN, to Patrick and Lilah Welch Dodd.
Marilyn was an avid Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame sports fan. She spent most of her life living in the towns of Ober, Knox, and Winamac.
She is survived by:

RUTH E. DOTY

Ruth E. Doty, 84, of 827 West 13th Street, Rochester, IN (formerly of Winamac, IN) passed away at the Life Care Center of Rochester on July 12, 2007 at 4:40 AM.
Ruth was born November 27, 1922, in Hamilton, OH, to Michael and Edith Mullen Hunter. She married William Doty on January 27, 1940 in Winamac. William died November 11, 1993.
Ruth was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post #323 in Logansport, IN. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pulaski, IN. Ruth was an avid Bingo player. She enjoyed collecting dolls and nick-nacks. Ruth loved gardening.

ARCHIE C. SWARTZ

Archie C. Swartz, 93, of 1205 N. 14th St., Lafayette, IN, formerly of Francesville, passed away at Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 1:03 PM in St. Anthony Health Care, Lafayette, IN.
He was born February 12, 1914, in Wolcott, IN, to - Sonnie and Melissa Overley Swartz.
He married Doris Marie Boehning on Dec. 5, 1936. She died Nov. 4, 2002.
He was a former resident of Francesville, moving to Lafayette in 1952. He also resided in Central Florida.
He was a member of Operating Engineer's Local 103 from 1937-45. He retired from National Homes after 30 years of employment as a truck driver.
He was a member of the Kossuth Street Baptist Church, Christian Businessmen's Fellowship, and a former Chairman of the Child Evangelism Fellowship.
He was an avid golfer and fisherman.
He enjoyed his CB radio.

Florence Marie Walters, 88, of 681 E. Ada St., Francesville, IN, passed away at 9:00 AM Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Life Care Center in LaGrange, IN.
She was born February 1, 1920, in Pittsboro, IN, to Ernest and Elma Caudy Krueger.
Florence married Kenneth A. Walters April 14, 1938 at the Medaryville Methodist Parsonage. Kenneth died February 16, 2007.
Florence graduated from Francesville High School. She lived all of her life in the Francesville area.
She was a member of the former Independence Methodist Church until it closed, then became a member of the Francesville United Methodist Church.
Florence was a member of the Jasper County Farm Bureau where she served as a women's leader for six years. She served as a District 3 women's leader for 15 years. She was a member of the Indiana Farm Bureau State Women's Committee. She was a delegate to Associated Country Women of the World for two years.
She loved to travel, especially international travel and visited her life long pen pals in England and Africa.
She also loved reading, crafts, and her family.
She enjoyed playing Rook with her many friends.

Nicholas Eugene Hauptli, 30, of 405 East Montgomery St., Francesville, IN, passed away at 4:28 PM Friday, August 1, 2008 at his residence in Francesville, IN.
He was born March 22, 1978, in Winamac, IN, to Eugene and Laura Ailes Hauptli. Nick was married to Sherrie Nightingale on September 8, 2004 in Winamac, IN. He worked as a laborer at various jobs. Nick enjoyed working on cars, especially race cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the children. Nick was a member of the Medaryville Volunteer Fire Dept and was a pump operator and took great pride in his volunteer service. He enjoyed NASCAR and attending races at Shady Hill Raceway. Nick was a member of the Medaryville Assembly of God Church. Nick was a Boy Scout and had earned the God and Country Award. He was a 1997 graduate of West Central High School and had attended the Nashville Diesel College in Nashville, TN with the aid of a scholarship from the Indiana Volunteer Fireman's Association. He enjoyed having his picture taken as a child. He took great pride in the appearance of his and family members vehicles. Nick loved animals. He was always there to help with his mother's care.

She married Howard Glenn Gorby on June 26, 1945, in Terre Haute, IN. He died June 19, 1983.
She lived in Pulaski County since 1969, coming from Gary, IN.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
