Mary R. "G.G." Cargel, 94, of 4784 W 500 N, Winamac, IN, passed away at 4:45 AM Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN.
She was born December 31, 1913, in Hadley, MA, to Joseph and Rosalie Chrusciel Kielec.
She married Robert Allen Cargel on Nov. 28, 1935, in Hadley, Mass. He died on Oct. 30, 1985.
She moved to Winamac in 1980, coming from Agawam, Mass.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and the Christian - Mothers, Winamac.
She loved tatting, crocheting and sewing.

She was born October 6, 1934, in Rensselaer, IN, to Eugene and Bernice Walker Ballard.
She married Steven M. Simonin on June 19, 1989, in Wabash, IN. He survives.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Francesville, IN.
She was retired from Kewanna Metal Specialities in Kewanna, IN. She formerly was employed at the Ben Franklin Store in Winamac.
She lived in Winamac most of her life and was formerly of Monticello.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, motorcycle riding and shopping. She loved to attend yard sales.

Marshall R. Fagner, 57, of 1331 E 50 S, Winamac, IN, passed away at 7:15 PM Monday, July 7, 2008 at his residence in Winamac, IN.
He was born August 23, 1950, in Winamac, IN, to Russell and Annabelle Pennington Fagner. Marshall was married to Annamarie Ritter on July 28, 1973 in Ripley Gospel Chapel. He was employed as an assistant engineer for the Indiana State Highway Dept. Marshall was a member of the Bethel Bible Church. He enjoyed soccer and was a volunteer coach for many years. Marshall went on several mission trips to Ecquador for his church. He worked with the youth group at the church for many years. Marshall enjoyed watching birds and raising hostas. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She was born May 1, 1922, in Medaryville, IN, to Hallie and Edna Brick Saltsman. Mildred lived most of her life in Medaryville, IN. She married Ellis Bennett on July 2, 1979. He died November 20, 1985. She was employed at the Medaryville Garment Factory for over 40 years. Mildred was a member of the Medaryville Christian Church. Mildred loved to sew, crochet, work in her garden and raise flowers. She enjoyed spending time with family. She was a friend to all she met.

She married Robert Harold Wentz on Jan. 6, 1946, in South Bend, IN. He died Feb. 15, 1981.
She was a former resident of South Bend and Knox, IN.
She was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Winamac.
She was a retired manager of the L.S. Ayres Store at Scottsdale Mall in South Bend, IN. She was employed there for 18 years.
She loved to sew, read, and go walking in the park.

She was born August 20, 1910, in Tuscola, IL, to William and Margaret Korte Vermillion.
She married William K. Nicholson on May 22, 1932, in Covington, IN. He died March 17, 1988.
She was an avid Purdue football and basketball fan.
She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, camping, fishing, and especially spending time with her family.
She was a former resident of Buffalo, Lafayette, Monticello and Frankfort, IN.
She was a former employee of the Kingsbury Ordinance Plant and Purdue University.

Linda L. Braun, 64, of 2339 Oak Tree Circle, Winamac, IN, passed away at 4:03 PM Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN.
She was born April 25, 1944, in Winamac, IN, to Theodore and Doris Keys. Linda was a member of the Winamac Church of the Nazerene. She was the co-founder of the Braun Corp in Winamac. After raising five children, Linda went on to do fund raising for the Cancer fund and the Heart fund. She was a generous contributor to local schools and the CASA Program. Linda loved to travel. She especialy enjoyed traveling the NASCAR racing circuit. Linda also enjoyed traveling with her children and grandchildren and mother. Linda was a wonderful, loving, amazing and generous person.
