SOUTH BEND - Joseph A. Name, 54, of North Bend, Ore., formerly of South Bend, died Jan. 23, in his home. Survivors include his wife, Melba Lois; a daughter, Jennifer L. Name of Hot Springs, Ark.; a son, Joseph L. of Little Rock, Ark.; and three sisters, Carolyn Myers of South Bend, Deloras Johnson of Kokomo and Barbara Cashen of Mesa, Ariz. Memorial services will be at a later date in South Bend. Myrtle Grove Funeral Service, North Bend, is handling arrangements.

SOUTH BEND - Laura M. Paprocki, 81, of Mulberry Road, died Wednesday in Holy Cross Health and Rehabilitation Center. She is survived by a daughter, Josephine Rzepnicki of South Bend; and three sisters, Stella Schultz, Alice Huff and Joan Szabo, all of South Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday.

SOUTH BEND - Robert Carlyle "Red" Jones, 74, of Waynesboro, Va., formerly of South Bend, died Tuesday in Augusta Medical Center, Fishersville, Va. He is survived by a daughter, Jane Ann Johnson of Edgewater, Fla. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in McDow Funeral Home, Waynesboro, where friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today.

SOUTH BEND - Geneva M. Kifowit, 80, of Lincoln Way West, died Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Survivors include three brothers, George Kifowit of South Bend, Ralph Kifowit of Cassopolis and John Kifowit of Granger. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today.

SOUTH BEND - Nolan T. Miller, 91, of Noblesville, Ind., formerly of South Bend, died Thursday in Harbour Manor Care Center, Noblesville. Survivors include a daughter, Ann Rich of Carmel, Ind.; two sons, Glen Sr. of Mishawaka and Vaughn of Bowling Green, Ohio; two sisters, Martha Nothstein and Iva Stayton; and three brothers, Simon R., Richard and Robert. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. There will be no visitation. Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville, is handling arrangements.
