Nelson, both of South Bend; two sons, DeAndre Nelson and Jamil Plump, both of South Bend; his mother, Gloria Timberlake of South Bend; and three sisters, Teresa Young and Donna Nelson, both of South Bend, and Ella Nelson of Elkhart.
