NEW CARLISLE - Nina L. Boyles, 86, of Chicago Trail Village, died Sunday in Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home. Survivors include a daughter, Marie Boyles of New Carlisle; and a son, Robert of South Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., South Bend, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Mary L. Carroll
April 3, 1910-Jan. 18, 1998
MISHAWAKA - Mary L. Carroll, 87, of Colony Court, died at 5:27 a.m. Sunday in Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend. Survivors include her husband, James; five daughters, Wanda Stryker and Sue Swihart, both of Mishawaka, Louise Conway of Orlando, Fla., Paulette Kuzmanovich of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Thersia Young of Summerfield, Fla.; and two sons, James and Roy, both of Mishawaka. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Twin City Baptist Church. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St.

Daniel N. Hysell

MISHAWAKA - Daniel N. Hysell, 75, of Currant Road, died Sunday in St. Joseph Community Hospital. He is survived by a daughter, Lisa R. Hysell of Mishawaka; a son, Daniel L. of Osceola; and two sisters, Ramona Good of Vandalia and Mercedes VanOver of Florida. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Feb. 8, 1915-Jan. 17, 1998
SOUTH BEND - Alex "Al" J. Jankowski, 82, of South Camden Street, died Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Esther (Pietraszewski); a daughter, Carole Coffman of Granger; a sister, Theresa Sieczko of Niles; and a brother, Leo of Livonia, Mich. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a rosary will be said at 4 p.m.

MISHAWAKA - Ronald E. "Gene" Jordan, 56, of 915 W. Jefferson Blvd., died Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, of natural causes. Survivors include a son, Loren of San Diego; his mother, Ruby Jordan of Mishawaka; five sisters, Rachel Grice of Niles, Rosemary Kline, Ruthann Wasson and Ruby Naragon, all of South Bend, and Roberta Porman of Mishawaka; and two brothers, Roy of Irons, Mich., and Roger of Mishawaka. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Pifer-Smith Funeral Home, Niles, where friends may call one hour before services.

April 19, 1913-Jan. 18, 1998
MISHAWAKA - Irene M. Leavens, 84, of West 10th Street, died Sunday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Gruber of South Bend. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bavo's Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Hahn Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m.

Betty A. Urbanski
Aug. 27, 1933-Jan. 17, 1998
SOUTH BEND - Betty A. Urbanski, 64, of South St. Joseph Street, died Saturday in Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Joseph A.; two daughters, Cathy Szerencse and Cindy Plank, both of South Bend; two sons, James and Jeffrey, both of South Bend; and two brothers, Frank Koloszar Jr. and Robert Koloszar, both of South Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 1827 E. Ireland Road, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Wilma Julia Peetz, 78
Wilma Julia Peetz, 78, of Osgood died Thursday, March 2, 2000, in Indianapolis.
The daughter of the late William and Mary Catherine (Brunner) Wagner was born Dec. 10, 1921, in Ripley County. She married Merle Louis Peetz Jan. 7, 1942, and he preceded her in death in 1995.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church, Napoleon.
Survivors include one daughter: Joan Menchhofer of Osgood; one son: Andrew Peetz of Osgood; four brothers: Richard, Cletus, and William Wagner of Osgood and Donald Wagner of Greenwood; one sister: Burdella Brancamp of Greensburg and four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Paul and Maurice Wagner; one sister: Iona Wagner and one granddaughter: Laura Ann Peetz.
Visitation and a rosary service were Monday, March 6 at Neal's Funeral Home, Osgood. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 7 at St. Maurice Catholic Church with the Rev. William Ripperger officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Maurice Catholic Church Building Fund.
