Susie Hamblin
Susie Hamblin, 75, of Martinsville, died from natural causes at 7:45 p.m. Oct. 9, 1999, in Morgan County Memorial Hospital.
Born June 27, 1924, in Leslie County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Emanuel and Hannah Elizabeth (Howard) Huff. She married Morris Hamblin Feb. 15, 1947. He survives.
Mrs. Hamblin was a homemaker. She had been employed during the late 1960s and early 1970s at the Martinsville Elks Club.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Leslie County, Kentucky.
Survivors include four daughters, Belinda Whitaker and Carolyn Williams, both of Martinsville, Rosetta Curry of Franklin and Roberta Minor of Indianapolis; one brother, Elbert Huff of Danville; and six grandchildren, Chris and Cindy Minor, Dennis Curry, Angela Barr, Linda Williams and Jonathon Whitaker.
Two brothers, Curt and Elmer Huff, and a sister, Ethel Huff, preceded her in death.
The service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Costin Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in New South Park Cemetery.

Edna M. Manford
Edna M. (Rusie) Manford, 104, died from natural causes Oct. 9, 1999, in Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home in Mooresville. She had been a resident at the home for 13 years.
Born Oct. 3, 1895, in Mooresville, she was the daughter of William and Rebecca (Hobson) Rusie. She married Raymond "Footy" Manford Oct. 17, 1921. He died June 1, 1985.
Mrs. Manford was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Bethel Friends Meeting, Past Worthy Matron of Mooresville Order of Eestern Star, and Past Most Excellent Chief of the Hope Temple 151 of the Mooresville Pythian Sisters.
Survivors include three nieces, Nila Jo Turley and Mary E. Stout, both of Mooresville, and Rhonda S. Ellis of Scottsdale; and two nephews, Max Rusie of Greenwood and William Rusie Jr. of Mooresville.
Two sisters, Ethele Rusie and Mildred Schuler; two brothers, William and Herschel Rusie, preceded her in death.
The service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel in Mooresville. The Rev. Kenneth Tost will officiate. Burial will be in Mooresville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral chapel in Mooresville.

Bernardine Myers
Bernardine A. Myers, 86, of Gosport, died from natural causes Oct. 10, 1999, at the Owen Valley Health Care in Spencer.
Born July 31, 1913, in Morgan County, she was the daughter of Hugh and Iva (Hite) Hodges. She married C. Eugene Myers, who died May 16, 1969.
Mrs. Myers was a homemaker. She had been employed at RCA in Bloomington and was retired.
She was a member of the Gosport Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Myers of Paragon and David Myers of Gosport; two daughters, Maxine Mullin of Gosport and Nila Applegate of Martinsville; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Four sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
The service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gosport Christian Church. The Rev. Norman Ward will officiate. Burial will be in Gosport Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Whitaker Funeral Home in Gosport.
Lou Ann Ziegelemeier
Lou Ann Ziegelemeier, 79, Martinsville, died Oct. 9, 1999, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born April 5, 1920, she was the daughter of Evertt Frank and Charlotte Jane (Mains) Allee. She married Chester Ziegelemeier on Sept. 5, 1954. He survives.
Mrs. Ziegelemeier was a housewife and employed at Karpex Rubber Co. in Indianapolis, retiring in 1955. She was a member of Apostolic Faith Church. She graduated from George Washington High School in Indianapolis in 1938.
Other survivors include her sons, Jim R. McClintock, Gilbert, Ariz., and Bill Ziegelemeier, Martinsville; daughter, Jennifer Szachnitowski; sister, Charlotte Jane Allee, Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The service will be Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 10 a.m. at Apostolic Faith Church. The Rev. Patricia Cook will officiate. Burial will follow in Nebo Memorial Park.
Calling hours are Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m., at Costin Funeral Chapel, and Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to the time of service, at the church.
Carolyn J. Hudnall
Carolyn J. Hudnall, 64, of Naples, Fla., died from natural causes at 3 a.m. Jan. 27, 2000, at Plainfield. She had lived in Naples for the past five years
Born Feb. 12, 1935, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of John F. and Mary E. (Busald) Schubert, both deceased. She married Richard W. Hudnall, who is also deceased.
Before her retirement in 1995, she was a Certified Nursing Assistant "CNA" in Indianapolis for several years.
She was a member of the Marco Island Ministries in Naples, Fla., and a former member of Delta Sigma Kappa Sorority in Indianapolis. She enjoyed playing bingo and gardening.
Survivors include two children, Stephanie L. Weaver of Plainfield and Richard W. Hudnall of Winter Park, Fla.; five brothers, Paul Schubert of Martinsville, Richard Schubert of Avon, Joseph Schubert of Lizton, John "Bud" Schubert of Camby and James Schubert of Martinsville; five sisters, Louise Murphy of Greenfield, Margaret Roberts of Indianapolis, Ann Bernabo of St. Louis, Mo., Monica Myrtle of Indianapolis and Rita O'Brian of Mooresville; three great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
The service will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Charles Paxton will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 11:30-12:30 Saturday at the mortuary.
