Robert Willard Haring, 79, of 16731 Base Road West, Medaryville, IN, passed away at 10:16 AM Thursday, March 27, 2008 at his residence.
He was born June 2, 1928, in Monon, IN, to Clayton and Irene Walley Haring.
Bob was married to Phyllis Jo Fulmer on May 18, 1952 in Medaryville, IN. Phyllis died on August 30, 1996.
He served as a Seaman First Class on the USS Sierra in the US Navy from 1946 until 1947. He attended school at the Medaryville and Teft schools. He was a farmer and he had worked at the Allis Chalmers Company in LaPorte, IN. He had been a mechanic at the Winamac Sales-Case dealership in Francesville, IN. He had also worked at the Tee-Pak Company in Winamac, IN.
He attended the Medaryville Methodist Church. He enjoyed time spent with his family, especially his grandchilren. He enjoyed sports, travel and attending his grandchildren's sports, 4-H and school activities. Bob also enjoyed dancing and listening to music.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM EDT Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Medaryville, IN with Pastor Susan Jennys officiating.
Burial will take place in the Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, IN. Military Graveside Services will be conducted by the American Legion.
Friends may call from 4-8 PM EDT Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Medaryville.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Medaryville United Methodist Church or the Debra Haring Memorial Scholarship Fund.
HOWARD E. VAUGHT

Howard E. Vaught, 74, of 1796 West 225 North, Winamac, IN, passed away at 2:46 AM Friday, March 21, 2008 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN.
He was born June 4, 1933, in Kentucky to William and Florence Pemberton Vaught. He married Ruby (Hillenburg) Vaught on April 23, 1955. Ruby survives.
Howard was a former member of Local 37 Steel Workers. He was retired from Youngstown Steel in East Chicago, IN. He was the Owner of H&R Tavern in Portage, IN. Howard enjoyed spending time on the Tippecanoe River in Winamac.

GERALD KEITH TOPP

Gerald Keith Topp, 83, of 502 West Jackson Street, Mulberry, IN, passed away at 2:22 PM Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community in Mulberry, IN.
He was born October 10, 1924, in Francesville, IN, to Lewis and Rubia Rhinehart Topp. He was married to Clara Gertrude "Gertie" Locke on November 6, 1955 in Winamac, IN. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 2005. She died March 11, 2006.
Gerald was a member of the United Church of Christ and the American Legion. He served as a Sergeant in the US Army during WWII serving in the Phillipines and Japan. He often related stories of his war time experiences. Gerald was a retired farmer who loved working on the farm. He enjoyed watching birds and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a former resident of Francesville, IN and Lafayette, IN

Burial will take place in the Roseland Cemetery located at Francesville, IN. The American Legion will conduct military graveside services.

NELLIE L. BOSLEY
Nellie L. Bosley, 94, of 624 East 13th St., Winamac, IN, passed away at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac, IN.
She was born February 5, 1914, in Winamac, IN, to Lee and Lillie Cloud Goble.
In 1944 she married Clarles Leas. He died in 1946. She then married William Bosley in 1958. He died in 1990.
She lived most of her adult life in Hammond, IN, returning to Winamac in 1991.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Hammond, IN, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the church choir. She also was a member of the Nazarene World Missions.
She prayed for each of her family by name daily.
She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and gardening.

Private services will be held Thursday, August 14, 2008, in Paul's Chapel Church, Pulaski, with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating.
Burial will take place in the Paul's Chapel Cemetery, Winamac, IN.

FLORENCE MARIE WALTERS

Florence Marie Walters, 88, of 681 E. Ada St., Francesville, IN, passed away at 9:00 AM Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Life Care Center in LaGrange, IN.
She was born February 1, 1920, in Pittsboro, IN, to Ernest and Elma Caudy Krueger.
Florence married Kenneth A. Walters April 14, 1938 at the Medaryville Methodist Parsonage. Kenneth died February 16, 2007.
Florence graduated from Francesville High School. She lived all of her life in the Francesville area.
She was a member of the former Independence Methodist Church until it closed, then became a member of the Francesville United Methodist Church.
Florence was a member of the Jasper County Farm Bureau where she served as a women's leader for six years. She served as a District 3 women's leader for 15 years. She was a member of the Indiana Farm Bureau State Women's Committee. She was a delegate to Associated Country Women of the World for two years.
She loved to travel, especially international travel and visited her life long pen pals in England and Africa.
She also loved reading, crafts, and her family.
She enjoyed playing Rook with her many friends.
