SOUTH BEND -- Geraldine Milliken, 85, of Bellflower, Calif., formerly of South Bend, died Jan. 22 in Woodruff Convalescent Hospital, Bellflower. She is survived by her husband, Elton J. Services were held Wednesday in Church of Our Fathers, Cypress, Calif. Forest Lawn Mortuary, Cypress, handled arrangements.

Irene N. Miltroka
Aug. 25, 1931-Jan. 26, 1998
SOUTH BEND -- Irene Nellie Miltroka, 66, of North Elmer Street, died Monday in her home. She is survived by a daughter, Sarah Drudge of South Bend; a son, Ron Troup of Syracuse; four sisters, Mary Carter of North Liberty, Beatrice Allen of Mishawaka, Hazel Starrett of Niles and Charity Latham of LaPorte; and a brother, Robert Carson of South Bend. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Survivors include his wife, Lois F.; two daughters, Diane Watson of Mishawaka and Debbie Wisowaty of Itasca, Ill.; and three sisters, Charlotte Struthers of LaVerne, Calif., Bernice Hahn of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Lucille "Squee'' Routt of Leesburg, Fla. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

SOUTH BEND -- Joseph A. Name, 54, of North Bend, Ore., formerly of South Bend, died Jan. 23, in his home. Survivors include his wife, Melba Lois; a daughter, Jennifer L. Name of Hot Springs, Ark.; a son, Joseph L. of Little Rock, Ark.; and three sisters, Carolyn Myers of South Bend, Deloras Johnson of Kokomo and Barbara Cashen of Mesa, Ariz. Memorial services will be at a later date in South Bend. Myrtle Grove Funeral Service, North Bend, is handling arrangements.

SOUTH BEND -- Laura M. Paprocki, 81, of Mulberry Road, died Wednesday in Holy Cross Health and Rehabilitation Center. She is survived by a daughter, Josephine Rzepnicki of South Bend; and three sisters, Stella Schultz, Alice Huff and Joan Szabo, all of South Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday.

ELKHART -- Berdie B. Beadle, 67, of 30192 Chevy Chase Drive, died Friday in Valley View Health Care Center. Survivors include her husband, James R. Sr.; two daughters, Laurie J. Parsons of Torrington, Conn., and Judith A. Barnes of Terre Haute, Ind.; two sons, Gary L. Rivkin of Bristol and James R. Beadle of Bristol; her mother, Belle Ponda of Bloomfield, Conn.; and a brother, Herbert Bendell of Bloomfield. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Victory Alliance Church, where friends may call one hour before services. Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg, is handling arrangements.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Titus Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Survivors include five daughters, Joyce Simms of Lebanon, Va., Jackie McCoy of Bloomington, Ind., Jolene Buck of Bremen, Joanna Buck of Nappanee and Kathy McReynolds of Hartwell, W.Va.; a son, Jeff of Albion, Ind.; and a brother, Ralph of Goreville, Ill. Services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday in Titus Funeral Home, where friends may call two hours before services.

ELKHART -- LaVonna J. Hoult, 76, of Bittersweet Lane, died Thursday in Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend. Survivors include her husband, William "Leonard"; and two daughters, Barbara Reygaret of Osceola and Sharon Tucker of Mattoon, Ill. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka, where a wake service will be at 4 p.m. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hoult Cemetery, Chrisman, Ill.
