MICHIGAN CITY -- Pamela F. Richardson, 38, of West Ninth Street, died at 7 p.m. Sunday in Life Care Center of natural causes. Survivors include a daughter, Alice C. Richardson of Michigan City; three sisters, Barbara Burns of LaPorte, and Marlene Whitehead and Lurley Hall, both of Michigan City; and a brother, Thaddeus Richardson of Fort Worth, Texas. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Root Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour before services.

Roger F. Schwager
Feb. 23, 1936-Jan. 26, 1998
MICHIGAN CITY -- Roger F. Schwager, 61, of Hendricks St., died Monday in his home of natural causes. He is survived by his wife, Edith (Witt); two daughters, Julie Maul of Pennsylvania and Christie Schwager of Michigan City; and two sons, Michael of Michigan City and Roger P. of Lakeville. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Carlisle Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today.

WARSAW -- Mary Virginia Kann, 79, of 1630 S. County Farm Road, died at 12:15 a.m. Friday in Kosciusko Community Hospital. She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Kreutzer of Warsaw and Dorothy Szabo of Rochester, Minn.; a son, Russ of North Webster; and a brother, Doug Cunningham of Fla. There will be no services or visitation. Titus Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Imogene M. Magers

LAPORTE -- Imogene May Magers, 71, of 306 Planett St., died at 5 a.m. Friday in her home. Survivors include three daughters, Diana L. Michie and Connie Lilly, both of LaPorte, and Barbara J. Lucas of Westville; a son, Carl J. of LaPorte; two sisters, Janice Bottorff of Walkerton and Alberta Cowen of Knox; and five brothers, Raymond Burger of Gulfport, Miss., Roy and Gordon Burger, both of Knox, Harold Burger of Chicago and Duane Burger of LaPorte. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Haverstock Funeral Home, where friends may call from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and until services Monday.

Turner, both of Michigan City and Collette D. Turner of Flint, Mich.; a sister, Arlene Hood of Michigan City; and three brothers, John L. Turner of Philadelphia, Pa., and Jerry Turner Jr. and Wilbur Turner, both of Michigan City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel and one hour before services in the church.

William H. Nichols

TOPEKA -- William H. "Bick" Nichols, 63, of Todd-Dickey Nursing Home, Leavenworth, Ind., formerly of Topeka, died Thursday in the nursing home. Survivors include two daughters, Sharla Thompson of Topeka and Rhonda Morgan of Shipshewana; a son, Billy of Goshen; and a sister, Jennifer Hawkins of Louisville, Ky. Services will be at a later date. There is no visitation. Frurip-May Funeral Home, LaGrange, is handling arrangements.

ELKHART -- Louise M. Philipson, 85, of Ypsilanti, Mich., formerly of Elkhart, died at 11:10 p.m. Thursday in Saline, Mich. Survivors include a son, William L. of Ypsilanti; a sister, Dorothy Reynolds of West Boylston, Mass; and a brother, Ray Bergland of North Liberty. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 2:30 p.m.

ELKHART -- Lloyd V. Schrader, 84, of 1337 Okema St., died at 1:28 p.m. Wednesday in Elkhart General Hospital. Survivors include a daughter, Sissy Schrader; a son, Randy; and a sister, Vera Beard of South Bend. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Rice Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. Monday in Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home.
