Lois E. Yaggie, 75, Francesville, IN, passed away at 6:15 PM Tuesday, September 9, 2008 in Francesville, IN.
She was born December 17, 1932, in Rensselaer, IN, to Richard and Zura Snedeker Streitmatter.
She married Irvin K. Yaggie on Aug. 14, 1955, in Francesville. He survives.
She was a member of the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church. She was a former volunteer at Parkview Haven Retirement Home.
She was a former employee of Parkview Haven Retirement Home for 13 years.
She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She also enjoyed outside gardening and mowing.

Services will be held at 2PM EDT Sunday, September 14, 2008, in the Apostolic Christian Church, Francesville, with Ministers of the Church officiating.
Burial will take place in the Roseland Cemetery, Francesville, IN.
Friends may call 3-8PM EDT Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville, and one hour before the services Sunday in the church.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Parkview Haven Retirement Home or Pulaski Memorial Hospice.

Doris Claire Yocom, 90, of 730 School Street, Culver, IN, passed away at 4:30 PM Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Miller's Merry Manor in Culver, IN.
She was born August 6, 1918, in Winamac, IN, to Everett and Esther Roach Vanaman.
She was married to Dr. Emery James Yocom Jr. on Apr. 11, 1941 at Clinton, IN. He died on Dec. 11, 1985.
She attended school in Winamac and Monterey. She was a life long resident of Culver, IN.
She maintained the office of her husband's veterinary practice in Culver.
She enjoyed gardening and music. In later years, she traveled the local countryside with her longtime friend Katy Cummins, shopping, deer watching, and telling stories.
She will be fondly remembered for her optimism, wit, and some of the happiest piano playing in the area.
She was a member of the VFW Auxillary in Culver, IN.
Survivors include Shari Zussman, Sterling, IL Daughter

Graveside services will be held at 3 PM EDT Friday, September 12, 2008, in Winamac Cemetery, Winamac, with Pastor Kevin DeKoninck officiating.
Burial will take place in the Winamac Cemetery.

George Behnke, 79, of 526 Beachwood Drive Monticello, IN (formerly of Francesville, IN) passed away at 11:50 PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2008 at White County Hospital in Monticello, IN.
He was born October 16, 1928 in Winamac, IN to Paul and Ina Traver Behnke. George married Margaret Hebert on April 30, 1949, in Bruce Lake, IN. She died on May 27, 1984.
George was a veteran of the US Army.
He enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel-Francesville in Francesville, IN on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 1 PM EDT with Pastor James Ketchen officiating.
Burial will take place in the Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, IN. Military Graveside services will be conducted by the American Legion.
Visitation will be after 11 AM EDT Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel-Francesville.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Serenity Hospice.

Louise K. Dommer, 77, of 6321 West SR 14, Winamac, IN, passed away at 4:03 AM Monday, September 1, 2008 at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac, IN.
She was born November 16, 1930, in Francesville, IN, to Carl and Tena Kruger Garling.
She married Henry William Dommer on July 1, 1950, in Winamac, IN. He died Aug. 20, 1983.
She lived all of her life in Pulaski County.
She was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Winamac.
She was a retired custodian at the Eastern Pulaski School Corporation.
She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, camping, and being with her family.

Services will be held at 10AM EDT Thursday, September 4, 2008, in St. Luke Lutheran Church, Winamac, with Pastor Carl Fitchett officiating.
Burial will take place in the McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac, IN.
Friends may call 2-8PM EDT Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Frain Mortuary, and one hour before the service Thursday in the church.
Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Luke Lutheran Church.
