She was born on March 12, 1925 in Huntington, IN to Rufus Isaiah and Lois Dale Pitzer Clark. Her parents preceded her in death.

Mrs. Harris married Ronald C. Harris. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1993. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker. She was a member of the Etna Ave Wesleyan Church, Huntington, IN.

Survivors include: 1 Son: Robert C. Hethcote, Huntington, IN and 1 daughter: Sharon K. Wymer, Huntington, IN 15 Grandchildren, 39 Great-grandchildren and 8 Great-great grandchildren. 1 Brother: Jack Clark, Casa Grande, AZ.

She was preceded in death by: 1 Son: Rex A. (Buddy) Haneline and 1 Daughter: Carolyn J. Hethcote and 1 Brother: Ray Clark.

Terry James Turnock, 62, formerly of Huntington, died at Rex Health Care, Raleigh, NC on, Monday, December 17, 2007.

Mr. Turnock was born January 16, 1945 in Green Bay, WI. to Bernard and Jane Hanahan Turnock. His parents preceded him in death.

He married Anne Scher on November 29, 2003 in Huntington, Indiana. She survives and resides in Cary, NC.

Terry attended Seton Catholic High School in Endicott, NY and graduated from the University of Dayton in Dayton, OH in 1967. In his career in property management Terry lived in Massachusetts, Texas, Tennessee, Indiana and most recently in North Carolina where he worked as a Vice-President in asset management for Transom Development, a division of Sun Trust Bank. He attended SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, Indiana.

Survivors include: 2 Sons: Keith (Danielle) Turnock, Columbus, OH., Kolby Turnock, Columbus, OH. 1 Daughter: Kelly (Dan) McLean, Gross Pointe, MI. Step-children: Jared Keyser, Lafayette, IN and Megan Keyser, Fort Wayne, IN. 2 Sisters: Linda (Thomas) Ryan, Chatham, NJ and Eileen (Robert) DeLarm, Chicago, IL. 2 Brothers Barney (Colleen) Turnock, Chicago, IL and Scott (Jeanne) Turnock, Chicago, IL. 2 Grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Friday December 21, 2007 from 3 to 7 PM at the McElhaney - Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN with the recitation of the rosary at 7 PM.

She was born November 27, 1915 in Winona, Mississippi to Major Robert and Erma Lou Rodgers Collins. Her parents preceded her in death.

Mrs. Richards was a 1936 graduate of Winona High School. She was engaged in farming for many years. She attended the Methodist Church.

She is survived by 3 Grandchildren: Jose’ “Joe” (Tammy) Schock, Warren, IN; Richard (Robin) Schock, Huntington, IN and John (Shawna) Schock, Muncie, IN. She has 3 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter: Judith Maxine Richards, April 1, 1993

Bernard (Jim) Teusch, 62, Harlan, IN, Formerly of Huntington, IN died on Tuesday November 27, 2007 at 7:00 AM at his residence in Harlan, IN.
He was born December 3, 2007 in Huntington County, IN to Russell H. and Lucy J. (Thompson) Teusch. His parents preceded her in death.

He married Fredia Adkins July 3, 1970 in Huntington, IN; she survives in Harlan, IN.
Mr. Teusch was the former Owner of Nu-Tech Hair Design in Fort Wayne and was currently working for Karl’s Hair Care in Fort Wayne, IN. A member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Huntington, IN. He was a Vietnam Veteran surviving in the Army 101st. Airborne He was member of VFW post 2689 and American Legion Post 7 both of Huntington, IN also a member of the National Cosmetology Association.

Survivors include in addition to his wife Fredia Teusch of Harlan, IN. 1 son: Jason Teusch, Harlan, IN 1 Daughter Julie Bye, Huntington, IN 2 Brothers Russell Teusch and David Teusch both of Huntington, IN and one sister Betty Beady, Huntington, IN. 5 Grandchildren also survive.

Calling will be Wednesday November 28, 2007 from 5 - 8 PM and then again Thursday November 29, 2007 from 2- 4 and 6 - 8 PM with recitation of Rosary at 6 PM at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday November 30, 2007 at 10:00 AM at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN with Father Ron Rieder Presiding.

Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.

Betty Ann Gilruth, 56, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, November 22, 2007 in Allen County, IN.
Mrs. Gilruth was born June 6, 1951 in Aurora, IL to Gilbert and Frances Pochervina Smith. Her parents preceded her in death. She was a Nurse and had worked at Huntington Hospital. She was also a homemaker. Betty married John William Gilruth on October 17, 1981 in Joliet IL. He survives and lives in Huntington, IN. Mrs. Gilruth was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington.

Additional survivors include a son John Thomas Gilruth, Huntington and 1 daughter Corinne Gilruth, Ft. Wayne, IN, 1 grandson.

Sister Mary Lawrence Rochel, O.L.V.M., 89, of Victory Noll in Huntington, IN. died at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Holy Family Heath Care Center Victory Noll, Huntington, IN.

Sister Mary Lawrence Rochel was born October 8, 1918 in Fidelity, Kansas to Joseph W. and Elizabeth L. Buser Rochel. Her parents preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by three brothers: Rev. Joseph Rochel, SJ, John Rochel and Rev. Anthony Rochel, SJ and by six sisters: Sr. Walburg Rochel, OSB, Clara Buessing, Sr. Cyprian Rochel, CSJ, Rosalia Broxterman, Margaret Haug and Suitberta Burdick.

Sister Mary Lawrence entered the congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on August 10, 1937 and made first Vows on August 5, 1940. She served in the missions in California, Kentucky, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Texan and Wyoming. She returned to Victory Noll in 1992 where she did volunteer work.

A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 23, 2007 with calling one hour prior to the service at the Victory Noll Chapel, 1900 W. Park Drive, Huntington, IN.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 24, 2007 with one hour of calling prior to the mass at the Victory Noll Memorial Chapel with Rev. Thomas Fahey presiding.

Burial will be at the Victory Noll Cemetery, Huntington, IN.

Paula J. Rapczynski, 47, Commerce City, Colo., died Friday, November 16, 2007 in Northglenn, Colo.

Mrs. Rapczynski was born December 3, 1959 in Huntington, to Joseph and Margie Kennedy Hunnicutt. Her parents survive in Huntington. She married Kirk Rapczynski, who also survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Shayla and Melissa of Commerce City; a son, Colton of Commerce City; a sister, Peggy of Littleton, Colo.; and five brothers, Michael and Vincent of Huntington, IN., Martin and Todd of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Matthew of Chicago, IL.

Calling will be Saturday December 1, 2007 from 11:00 AM until 11:30 AM prior to the memorial Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church 860 Cherry St. Huntington, IN 46750. Following the mass a funeral dinner and visitation will be held in the Gym Hall at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Mrs. Harness was born on October 4,1928 in Hartford City, Indiana to William and Hazel Lamont McDonald. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Harness was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Harness married Robert Harness. He preceded her in death April 1, 1987.
Survivors include: 1 Son: Robert Harness, Fort Wayne, IN and 4 Daughters: Rebecca Cozad, Huntington, IN.; Betty McCune, Markle, IN.; Lynn Black, Huntington, IN. and Marcia Anders, Lagro, Indiana. 2 Sisters: Wanita Miller and Zola (last name unknown). 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Nowell McDonald and Lowell McDonald. 2 Sisters: Vivian Fleming and Genevieve McDonald. 1 Grandson: Paul Cozad.

Mrs. Leier was born on March 22, 1918 to Marion Arthur and Celeste Pearl (Koch) Beaver in Lancaster, Indiana. Her parents preceded her in death.

Mrs. Leier was a homemaker. She was a 1936 graduate of Lancaster High School. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ of Huntington and a past member and officer of the Royal Neighbors of America.

Mrs. Leier married Louis Leier on February 18, 1940 in Huntington, IN. He preceded her in death February 10, 1998.

Survivors include: 1 son: Dr. Robert Leier, Daphne, Alabama and 1 daughter: Mrs. Diana West, Easley, SC. 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. 1 brother: William Beaver of Fort Wayne, IN.

Preceded in death by one brother: Arthur Beaver.

Dorothy Ann Scheiber, 80, Huntington, IN, died Sunday November 4, 2007 ( 5:45 AM) at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Mrs. Scheiber was born October 29, 1927 in Dayton, Ohio to William C. And Agnes M. (Owel) Shriver Sr. Her parents preceded her in death.

She married John (Jack) G. Scheiber October 2, 1948 in Huntington at St. Mary Catholic Church. He survives and lives in Huntington, IN.

Mrs. Scheiber was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Huntington; she sang in the Church choir for over 25 years as an alto and remained active in the funeral choir. She was involved in the Catholic Food Pantry since its inception over 25 years ago and was on the board of Directors for Love Inc. of Huntington. She was a 1945 Graduate of Huntington Catholic High School.

Survivors include: Her Husband John (Jack) G. Scheiber of Huntington, IN. 3 Sons John G. Scheiber Jr. (and wife Linda) James Anthony (Tony) Scheiber (and his wife Mary Ellen)Dr. William A. Scheiber (and his wife Sue) all of Huntington, IN; 2 daughters Julie A. Brinkman (and husband Denny), Kathryn M. Stuart (and husband Scott) both of Huntington, IN. 1 Sister Janet Roelofs of Mt. Vernon, Ohio. 15 Grand children and 11 ˝ Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 Brothers William C. Shriver Jr. and Thomas H. Shriver.

Calling hours will be Saturday November 10, 2007 from 8:30 AM till 10:00 AM with a memorial mass to follow at 10:00 AM all at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church 860 Cherry St. Huntington, IN 46750. Following mass a funeral dinner and visitation will be held in Gollner Hall at the Church.

Interment will be private due to the fact the Mrs. Scheiber’s wishes were to donate her body to Anatomical Education Program at the Indiana University School of Medicine.

In Lieu of flowers donations are to St. Peter & Paul Catholic Food Pantry or to Love Inc. both in care of the funeral home.

Mrs. Shalley was born February 2, 1912 in Cincinnati, OH to Charles and Elsie Fischer Tuxworth. Her parents preceded her in death.

Her marriage was to Ralph A. Shalley on July 18, 1943.He preceded her in death on April 29, 1972.She was a member of The Central Christian Church Huntington, IN.

Survivors include a son Steven Shalley, Huntington; 1 brother Fred Tuxworth, Mattapoisett, MA; 2 grandchildren, and 1great-grandchild.

Deceased 1 sister Elizabeth Tuxworth.

There will be no calling. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, Nov.2, 2007 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington, IN with Rev. Rick Smalling officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
