Patsy D. Herendeen Butz, 59, formerly of Huntington, IN died on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at her home in Santee, SC.

Mrs. Butz was born on August 1, 1947 in Huntington, IN to Howard and Josephine Casper Solloway. Her parents preceded her in death.

Her first marriage was to Steven Herendeen. He preceded her in death May 20, 1994. Her second marriage was to Jerry Butz. He survives and resides in Santee, SC.

Mrs. Butz was director of the Santee Literacy Council and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Santee SC.

Survivors: 2 Daughters: Missy Bills of Santee, SC and Mindi Potter of Clarksville, TN. Stepdaughters: Jill Huffman of Warren, OH and Ashley Butz of Fort Wayne, IN. Step-sons: Jeff Butz Opelika, AL and Logan Butz of Phoenix, AZ. 1 Sister: Mary Reust, Huntington, IN and 3 Brothers: Jack Solloway, Okeechobee, FL ; Bill Solloway, Fort Wayne, IN and Steve Solloway of Crossville, TN. 3 Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by one brother Jerry Solloway.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 28, 2007 from 1 to 9 PM at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN. Recitation of the rosary at 8:30 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 29, 2007 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street with Father John Guimond, as celebrant.

Mrs. Shaw was born March 13, 1911 in Youngstown, OH to John and Eugenia Behler Edel. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Shaw was a homemaker.

Her first marriage was to Philip E. Young on June 3, 1930 in Huntington, IN. Mr. Young preceded her in death on February 1, 1961. Her second marriage was to Francis W. Shaw Sr. on July 15, 1972. Mr. Shaw preceded her in death on February 3, 1980. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntington, IN, a member of the Rosary Sodality, Daughters of Isabella and the Columbian Ladies.

Survivors include: 4 Daughters: Roberta Meitzler, Huntington, IN; Mary Dolores Passino, Fort Wayne, IN; Patricia Schwartz, Belleville, MI and Debra Hildebrand, Huntington, IN 22 grandchildren and 42 Great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.

Deceased: 1 Daughter: Phyllis Paul and 1 Son: John B. Young. She was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, January 25, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN. Rosary will be recited at 8:00 PM. There will be calling on Friday, January 26, 2007 one hour prior to the service at St. Mary Catholic Church. .

Jane Scher was born on September 6, 1917 in Huntington, IN to Grover and Hazel Class Kline. Her parents preceded her in death.

Mrs. Scher married Marcellus Scher on September 23, 1937 in St. Mary Church, Huntington, IN. Mr. Scher preceded her in death on November 25, 1999.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rosary Sodality and the Daughters of Isabella. She was also a member of the Leisure Ladies Bowling Team, Oak Lanes.

Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Helen C. McLaughlin, Perris, CA. 3 Sons: Tom N. Scher, Richard L. Scher and James D. Scher all of Huntington, IN 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Robert Kline, Gilbert Kline and Richard Kline.
2 Sisters: Mary E. Miller and Bonnie Ellen Kline.

Harold W. Johnson, 92, Huntington, IN, died at his residence on Sunday, January 14, 2007 (10:10 AM)
Mr. Johnson was born May 19, 1914 in Huntington, IN to Henry P. and Mary Elizabeth Eisenhauer Johnson. His parents preceded him in death.
Mr. Johnson was a farmer in Huntington County and Custodian for Clear Creek School. He was head Custodian for Huntington North High School, Huntington, IN.
He married Vera Wyss on June 25, 1942 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hessen Cassel She survives and resides in Huntington.
Mr. Johnson was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. He was a member of the Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the Farmer’s Union.

Jane Smith was born on January 12, 1945 in Lowell, MA to Howard and Alice Doyle Clark. Her parents preceded her in death.

Mrs. Smith married Robert H. Smith on October 28, 1967 in Maynard, MA. Mr. Smith survives and resides in Huntington, IN.

She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Booster Cub of Huntington Catholic. She served as a den mother of Scout Troop #3135.
Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Sara K. Nunn, West Dundee, IL. 3 Sons: Matthew A Smith, Madison Alabama; Nathan A. Smith Waterville, OH; and Andrew N. Smith Warensburg, MO. 1 Sister Carol Mariani, East Falmouth, MA and 2 Brothers: Danny Clark, North Carolina and Leo Clark. 8 Grandchildren.

Brenda C. Bridge, 64, of Huntington, IN, died Monday January 8, 2007 8:25 AM at her residence.
Mrs. Bridge was born December 22, 1942 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to James and Juanita (Gillespie) Taylor. Her father preceded her in death.
Mrs. Bridge married Thomas Bridge June 6, 1967 in Greer, South Carolina. He survives and resides in Huntington.
Mrs. Bridge was employed as a Teacher at Lancaster Elementary School in Huntington She also worked with the Gifted and Talented program in the Huntington Schools then retired from NWEA January 2006. She received her Bachelors degree from Winthrop University and her Masters from Ball State University in 1975.
Mrs. Bridge was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Huntington, IN.
Survivors include her husband Tom Bridge of Huntington, IN, two sons Matt Bridge of Troy, Ohio and Andy Bridge of East Lansing, MI. Her Mother Juanita Taylor of Union South Carolina, Two sisters Susan Henderson of Union South Carolina and Betsy Dean of Duncan South Carolina, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 sister.

Calling will be Thursday January 11, 2007 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church 648 LaFontaine St. Huntington, IN. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 PM at the Church with Dr. Richard Lofgren Officiating.

Robert Dolan was born on February 14, 1916 in Huntington, Indiana to Bartholomew and Catherine Wolter Dolan His parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Dolan married Ruth Janice Bloomburg on September 6, 1`947 in Toledo, OH. She preceded him in death on March 27, 1995.
Mr. Dolan was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was a City Fireman from 1954-1963, owner and operator of the Coach House Restaurant from 1963-1970 and a Veteran’s Service Officer for Huntington County from 1974-78. Mr. Dolan served in the Army during WW11.

Survivors include: 3 Daughters: Daphne Slater, Huntington, IN ; Deborah Dolan, Huntington, IN and Dawn Schmidt, Columbia City, IN. 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Price was born on March 21, 1943 in Paw Paw Michigan to Paul and Rosella May (Spangler) Johnson. Her parents preceded her in death.

Mrs. Price married Larry F. Price Sr. on September 20, 1974 at Banquo Christian Church and he survives in Huntington, IN. Mrs. Price worked for Memcor in Huntington, IN and Martin - Marietta in Ocala, FL. Mrs. Price graduated from Huntington High School in 1961. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #837 in Huntington, IN, Moose Lodge #1199 in Ocala FL and Moose Lodge #1271 in Leesburg, FL.

Survivors include: Her Husband Larry F. Price of Huntington, IN. 5 Sons Scott Smith, Huntington, IN, Mark Price Pinesville, LA, Larry Price Jr. Huntington, IN, Dennis Price Salem, IN and John G. Price Huntington, IN. 5 Daughters Kelly Trieglaff Fort Wayne, IN, Debbie Kaufman Fort Wayne, IN, Christy Huntington Huntington, IN, Pam Stouder Huntington, IN and Lori Foust Andrews, IN. 2 Brothers Fred Haneline Huntington, IN and Dean Haneline La Port, IN. 22 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 3 Brothers Porter, Rex and Max Haneline, 2 sisters Pauline Miller and Patricia Falcone and one grandson Jeffery Price .

There will be no visitation.
Memorial Services will be 4:00 PM Saturday January 6, 2006 at the Trinity United Methodist Church 530 Guilford St. Huntington, IN 46750.
Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery Huntington, IN.

James T. Mullins, 58, of Huntington, IN, was found December 24, 2006 at the 89 Mile marker in Huntington County, IN.
Mr. Mullins was born on July 6, 1948 in Highhat KY to Leonard and Jeanette (Little) Mullins they both preceded him in death.
Mr. Mullins married Patti Converse September 28, 1989 in Huntington, IN. She survives and resides in Huntington.
Mr. Mullins was employed as a Test Technician at United Tech in Huntington since 1989.
He also served in the United States Army. He Graduated from United Electronics Institution, Louisville, KY in 1968 and received a Masters in Business from St. Leo College, Florida in 2003.
Mr. Mullins was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Huntington, Moose Lodge 837 in Huntington and was an avid Golfer.
Survivors include: Wife Patti Mullins of Huntington, IN 1 Son Joseph Mullins Huntington, 3 Daughters Angie Grube and, Anna Forni both of Huntington, and Heidi Mullins at Home. Also 3 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 sister Rejetta Coleman.

There will be no visitation.

A Memorial Service will be at his home 916 Byron St. Huntington, IN on January 6, 2007 from 1 to 6 pm family and friends are welcome to attend.

Alana Briann Dalrymple, was stillborn December 22, 2006 at 3:14 PM at Parkview Huntington Hospital Huntington, IN.
Alana was the daughter of Brandon and Kimberly (Lindsey) Dalrymple of Huntington, IN.
She is also survived by 2 sisters Dalia Lee and Tyler Elaine Dalrymple both at home. Maternal Grandparents were Donald and Jackie Lindsey and Sandra Lindsey of Huntington, IN. Paternal Grandparents are Beverly Dalrymple and the Late Robert Alan Dalrymple (who just passed away November 20, 2006). Paternal Great Grand parents are Robert and Mary Dalrymple, and Robert and Carolyn Hosier all of Huntington, IN.

Private graveside services were held Tuesday at St. Peters 1st. Cemetery in Huntington, IN with Rev. Jeff Carroll officiating.

Harriett A. Bowlin, 99,Huntington,, IN, died at (3:55 PM) Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Heritage of Huntington.
Mrs. Bowlin was born November 3, 1907 in Fowler, IN to George and Grace Timmons Yeoman. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Bowlin graduated in 1933 from the Presbyterian School of Nursing in Chicago. She served as a nurse in the South Pacific during World War ll.
She married Sam L.A. Bowlin May 31, 1947 in Huntington, IN. He survives and resides in Huntington, IN.
Mrs. Bowlin was a nurse at Huntington Memorial Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1974. Previously she worked at Chicago, IL Hospital for 8 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Huntington, IN. and Eastern Star Floral Chapter # 75.
Survivors include: 1 son: George E. Bowlin, Roanoke , IN; 1 granddaughter;
She was preceded in death by 3 sisters: locally Grace Dell Yeoman and 3 brothers, locally Gerald W. Yeoman.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 from 6 to 8 PM at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at 2 PM with Rev. Imes, officiating.

Harold Schenkel, 90, Huntington, IN, died at 4:30 AM Saturday December 16, 2006 at his residence.
Mr. Schenkel was a 1935 graduate of Rock Creek Twp. High School. He was owner/ operator of Harold’s Auto Parts for 45 years. He was a member of St. Peter’s First Church of Christ, Huntington, IN and the Masonic Amity Lodge #483 and V.F.W. Post 2689. He was a WW II Army Veteran.
He was born October 29, 1916 in Bippus, IN to Roman and Helena Gemmer Schenkel. His parents preceded him death.
Mr. Schenkel, married Betty J. Myers August 2, 1945 in Columbia City, IN. She survives and resides in Huntington.
Other survivors include: 2 sons: Ronald D. Schenkel and Roger L. Schenkel both of Huntington and a daughter Mrs. Don (Pamela) Watkins, Grovetown, GA. 4 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. 3 sisters:,.Mary Frances McBride, Romane, TX; Wanda Mickley, Warren, IN., and Melba Richardson, Phoenix, AZ.
Preceded in death by 4 brothers: Warren, Arden, Don and Dale Schenkel and 1 Sister: Ruby Zirkle.
