Ronald "Ron" L. Jordan
June 28, 1947 - April 22, 2008
Ron was employed by Howmet Corporation in November, 1965, and had been with the company serving in various capacities. Ron started at the LaPorte casting division as a utility worker and progressed to a Product Engineering position in January, 1988. Shortly afterward he accepted a transfer to the Morristown,TN Casting Support Division as a Project Engineer and at the time was employed as the Engineering/Manufacturing Manager with Wax Department Responsibilities. In the mid-sixties, Ron interrupted his Howmet career by entering the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and served in Tucson, AZ, as a Crew Chief for the Titan II Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Program. He was a member of the P.N.A. Club Ron had many personal interests including NASCAR, very much, motorcycles, cooking out, and spending time on his pontoon boat. He loved his wife and was a sweet and wonderful husband.

Mr. Don A. Wilkinson, 81, of Alexandria, La., died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Huey Medical Center, Pineville, La.
He was born June 1, 1927, in South Bend to Osborn P. and Ruth A. (Reed) Wilkinson.
Mr. Wilkinson was a retired colonel from the United States Army and then worked as a federal civil servant with the Department of Energy before retiring. He was a member of the Logan Presbyterian Church, Logan, Utah. Don was a disabled American Veterans and served in Germany during World War II. He served two tours in Korea and Vietnam and was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge with Star Legion of Merit twice. He was a Westville High School graduate of 1945.
On June 25, 1993, in Logan, Utah, he married Flora Grant, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Dawn Ann W. (Gordon Lee) Spittle of Valencia, Calif., Linda W. (Robert) Eckenrode of Montoursville, Pa., and Karen Lee of Woodbridge, Va.; two sons, James N. (Kimberly S.) of Bedford, Texas, and Robert O. (Linda M.) of Tulsa, Okla.; 10 grandchildren, Seth, Jeremy, James, Wesley, Haily, Jessie, Nicholas, Kirk, Jennifer and Stephanie; two great-grandchildren, Noah and Grayson; and one sister, Virginia (Harold) Nelson of Sun City, Ariz.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his birth mother Mable Seagrove and his first wife Imogen Hales Wilkinson.
The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Cutler Funeral Home in LaPorte. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Door Village Cemetery with full military honors.

Keith Zook
Keith E. Zook, 72, Michigan City, died at 12:17 p.m. Saturday (May 24, 2003) at his home.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Root Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael Yadron officiating. Cremation has taken place and burial of the cremains will be at a later date in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
Memorial services by the Zook-Farrington American Legion in Kingsford Heights will follow services on Saturday at Root Funeral Home.
Mr. Zook was born Nov. 18, 1930, in Monticello, Ind., to Roscoe and Hazel Lambert Zook. In Michigan City, he married Barbara Ruminski, who survives in Michigan City.
Survivors also include three daughters, Kenith (Dennis) Sheppard, Michigan City, Theresa Frazier and Kathryn (Robbie) Harness, both of LaPorte; three sons, George (Deanna) Zook and Joseph (Amy) Zook, of Michigan City, and David Zook, LaPorte; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lyle Eugene "Gene" Zook, Highpoint, N.C., and Dewey Zook, LaPorte; one sister, Barbara Martin, Florida; and former wife, Viola Brown Zook, LaPorte.
Also preceding Mr. Zook in death were one sister, Betty Kay Zook; and four brothers, Donald Zook, Kenneth Zook, Leland Zook and Clifford Zook.
Mr. Zook was a retired slab roller and layout man for Bethlehem Steel. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. A graduate of LaPorte High School, Mr. Zook set several track records. He was a member of Moose Lodge 980, Legion of the Moose and F.O.P. 75.
Mr. Zook was a loving husband and father. He was a hard worker and loved his garden. Mr. Zook was also a big Notre Dame and Chicago Bears fan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice.
Terry Morton
LaPORTE - Terry A. Morton, 47, LaPorte, died at 9:32 p.m. Monday (May 26, 2003) at his home.
Cremation will take place. There will be no services or visitation. Haverstock Funeral Home handled arrangements.
He was born Aug. 8, 1955, in Mishawaka, Ind., to Ernest Lee and Betty June (Anthony) Morton, who preceded him in death. On Nov. 22, 1974, he married Louise Fugate, who died Sept. 25, 1998.
Survivors include one daughter, Jessica Morton, Kingsford Heights, Ind.; three brothers, Larry Morton, Abo, N.M., Stanley and Steve Morton, both of Mill Creek, Ind.; one sister, Cindy Velez, Mill Creek, Ind.; one granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Baxley; one grandson, Robert N. Baxley III; and long-time companion, Janet Lanning, LaPorte.
Mr. Morton lived most of his life in the LaPorte area. He worked for Kingsbury Casting as a forklift operator for 24 years. He retired in 2002.

Andrew Patrick
FISH LAKE - Andrew "Jack" Patrick, 73, Fish Lake, died at 6:27 p.m. Sunday (May 25, 2003) at St. Anthony Memorial Health Centers.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, with the Rev. Randy Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery, LaPorte, with full military rites performed by American Legion Post 400.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until the service today at the funeral home.
He was born Nov. 26, 1929, in Garrett, Ky., to George R. and Angie (McGuire) Patrick. On Feb. 28, 1953, in South Bend, he married Phyllis M. Tener, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Debbra Marie (Sarah Grace) Walsh, South Bend; one granddaughter, Jessica Neal; one great-grandson, Jackson Neal; three sisters, Dorothy Daniels, Mill Creek, Ind., Elizabeth Carter, Ashland, Ky., and Josephine Scutchfield, Lexington, Ky.; and three brothers, Harold Patrick, Rush, Ky., John Patrick, Franklin Furnace, Ohio, and James W. Patrick, Winchester, Ky.
Also preceding Mr. Patrick in death were one son, Richard A. Patrick, who died Jan. 4, 2000; two sisters, Belle Johnson and Georgie Scutchfield; and one brother, George Patrick Jr.
Mr. Patrick was president of U.A.W. of Allis Chalmers Manufacturing, LaPorte, for more than nine years. He had worked at Clark Equipment in Michigan City for 15 years.
He had attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Mr. Patrick served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 400 of Fish Lake.

Dominic Albano
TRAIL CREEK - Dominic P. Albano, 75, Trail Creek, died at 7 a.m. Friday (May 30, 2003) at St. Anthony Memorial Health Centers.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Carlisle Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Roames officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
He was born in Michigan City to Frank and Rosalie (Padronaggio) Albano. On Jan. 28, 1956, in Michigan City, he married Ellen L. Roames, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Diane M. Albano, Michigan City; two sons, Daniel (Kathie) F. Albano, Valparaiso, and John D. (Jeannie) Albano, Warsaw, Ind.; four grandchildren, Robert Albano, Aaron E. Esposito, and twins Dominic and Emma Albano; two sisters, Virginia Dompke and Josephine Pawloski, both of Michigan City; two brothers, Sam and Russell Albano, both of Michigan City; and many nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, James and Benny, preceded Mr. Albano in death.
Mr. Albano had been employed with the C.S.S. & S.B.R.R. Railroad as an inspector. He was retired. Mr. Albano was associated with Albano's Villa for 45 years.
