Bradley Joseph Robinson

Joe and Amy (Strange) Robinson of Zionsville announce the birth of their son, Bradley Joseph Robinson, born Feb. 28, 2002, at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.

He is the couple's first child.

Maternal grandparents are Dean and Linda Chagnon of Greenwood and Dale and Jan Strange of Greenwood.

Paternal grandparents are Joe and Clairbelle Robinson of Lebanon.

Karis Ann Scott

Joe and Kristi (Greene) Scott of Lebanon announce the birth of their daughter, Karis Ann Scott, born Feb. 26, 2002, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces.

She was welcomed by brother Dakota Scott, 4, of South Carolina.

Maternal grandparents are Jim and Barb Greene of Lebanon. Maternal great-grandparents are Betty Greene of Lebanon and Dorothy Glendenning of Dallas, Tex. Great-great-great aunt is Esther Compton of Indianapolis.

Paternal grandparents are Rick and Linda Scott of Lebanon.

Reanna Nicole Lowery

Greg and Anita (Emens) Lowery of Frankfort announce the birth of their daughter, Reanna Nicole Lowery, born March 4, 2002, at Home Hospital in Lafayette. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces.

She was welcomed home by sister Rebecca Jane, 3.

Maternal grandparents are Phil and Jane Emens of Cambria. Maternal great-grandparents are Harold and Margery Reeves of Thorntown and the late Faye Emens and Ruby Emens Moore.

Paternal grandparents are Gary Lowery of Rossville and Mary Lowery of Cutler.

Charles Isaac Young

Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Eric) Young of Oak Park, Ill. announce the birth of their son, Charles Isaac Young, born Dec. 29, 2001. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Tom and Mary Foust of Logansport. Maternal great grandmother is Adeline Baker of Logansport. Maternal great-great grandparents are the late Harold and Martha Rush.

Paternal grandparents are Dr. Sam and Judy Young of Huntington. Paternal great-grandmother is Helen Young of Lebanon.

Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Fogle of Anderson announce the birth of their daughter, Jamisen Lexandra Fogle, born Feb. 28, 2002. She weighed 5 pounds, 4 ounces.

She was welcomed home by sister Lindsey, 3.

Maternal grandparents are Dr. Sam and Judy Young of Huntington. Maternal great-grandmother is Helen Young of Lebanon.

Paternal grandparents are James and Betty Fogle of Atlanta, Ga.

Lucy M. (Butz) "Jackie" Scott Holmes, 85, of Lebanon, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at Parkwood Health Care Center.

Services are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, with the Rev. Michael Landon officiating. Interment will be at Rossville Cemetery.

Visitation is set for 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Ariene L. Dale of Jamestown died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. She was 81.

Julie S. (Miller) Hine

Julie S. (Miller) Hine of Lebanon died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002 at Indiana University Hospital of Indianapolis. She was 30.

Vera M. Orman

Vera M. Orman of Bedford, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at Hospitality House of Bedford.

Richard L. Simmonds

Richard L. Simmonds of Zionsville, formerly of Plainfield, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at Zionsville Meadows. He was 84.

Mary M. Hall

Mary M. Hall of Zionsville died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at Hoosier Village, Zionsville. She was 79.

She married Chester W. Hall, who preceded her in death.

Hall was a homemaker and co-owner of Swiggett Lumber & Construction.

Memberships include Zionsville United Methodist Church, where she participated in the SAM group; Psi Iota Xi Alpha Lambda Chapter, Zionsville; John Purdue Club; Girl Scout leader (1957-62); and American Quilting Society.

Survivors include daughter Patricia A. McKnight of Zionsville; sons C. Ronald Hall of Cicero, James W. Hall of Knoxville, Tenn., and Gordon L. Hall of Zionsville; sisters Mildred L. Davis of Thorntown and Sara E. Henniger of Greenville, Ariz.; brother Gerald L. Wilkins of Port Charlotte, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Flanner & Buchanan Mortuary, Zionsville, and 9 a.m. until service time at the Zionsville United Methodist Church. Services are 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Zionsville United Church Building Fund or the Diabetes Association.

Joan Ingram

Joan (Ragsdale) Ingram of Washington died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at home. She was 73.

Born Aug. 19, 1928, in Kirklin, she was the daughter of Lester C. and Eva (Gwin) Ragsdale. On Jan. 22, 1950, she married Jan. 22, 1950, Paul E. Ingram, who survives.

Ingram graduated Jamestown High School in 1944 and attended Kentucky Christian, Lincoln Bible and Pacific Bible colleges.

Memberships include Parkview Christian Church, Plainville; and the Monday Afternoon Club.

Also surviving are daughter Paulette Kessinger of Grenola, Kan.; sons David W. Ingram of Kent, Wash., and Jonathan L. Ingram of Plainville; sister Aletha Kinnett of Crawfordsville; and William T. Ragsdale of Jamestown; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by great-grandson Thomas J. Kessinger and sister Arahwanna Scott.

There is no visitation. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Parkview Christian Church, Plainville. Burial is at Old Union Cemetery, Jamestown. Gill Funeral Home, Washington, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Parkview Christian Church.

Helen R. Likens

Helen R. Likens of Indianapolis died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at St. Frances Hospital & Healthcare Center, Beech Grove. She was 81.

Born June 20, 1920, in Bardstown, Ky., she was the daughter of Edward O. "Ned" and Mae E. (Robey) Summers. She married Leroy B. Likens, formerly of Lebanon, who survives.

Likens worked at Hygrade Meat Co., Indianapolis, for 20 years as a meat processor.

Memberships include New Life In Christ Church, Mooresville.

Also surviving are son Jerry Likens of Greenwood; daughters Connie Thomas-McDonald of Franklin, Sharon Allen of Lebanon; Sandy Jones of Ottenbein and Linda Hiatt of Whiteland; brothers Carl V. and James E. Summers, both of Indianapolis; sisters Angela P. Roberts of Indianapolis and Lucille Harrison of Seymour; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Forest Lawn Wilson Street Pierre Funeral Home, Greenwood. Services are 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, the Rev. William Rooker officiating. Burial is at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.

David B. McDonald

David B. McDonald of Thorntown died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at Witham Memorial Hospital, Lebanon. He was 68.

Born on Nov. 16, 1933, in Thorntown, he was the son of the late Dewey and Agnes L. (Veach) McDonald.

McDonald graduated from Thorntown High School in 1953, then went into the U.S. Army serving in Germany. McDonald worked for a railroad; Stream Line Trailer, Thorntown; Hurco Enterprises,Indianapolis and at Palmor in Thorntown for 20 years before retiring in 1999.

Survivors include sister, Viola C. Stout of Tucson, Ariz.; nephew Gary McDonald of Thorntown and niece Darlene Riley of Cloverdale. He was preceded in death by sister Shirley J. Riley.

Visitation was 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, Thorntown. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Russell and Hitch, the Rev. Bud Moody officiating. Military graveside rites will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Thorntown.

Clifford B. Robins

Clifford B. Robins of Indianapolis died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was 78.

He married Joanne Bouchard; she survives.

A graduate of Duke University and the University of Michigan, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II and the Korean War.

Other survivors include son Douglas F. Robins; daughters Laura Morris, Kathryn Palma, Marie Bates and Teresa Robins; sister Laura J. Jenks and two grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Hoosier Village Chapel, 5300 W. 96th St., Indianapolis.

Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson's disease awareness.

Ramlah Tanjung

Ramlah Tanjung of Medan, Indonesia, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at home. She was 74.

Born in 1927, she was the daughter of Mr. Mahmud and Mrs. Sarinah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nursuf.

Tanjung enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She took great interest in the United States when her daughter Harlini M. Reeves married Bill Reeves of Lebanon.

Survivors include daughter Yusnawati, Harlini M. Reeves of Lebanon, and Nurhayati; son M-Yusuf; three sons-in-law, including Bill Reeves of Lebanon; one daughter-in-law; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by sister Ramiah, and brothers Januar and Abd Talib.

Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Saturday Indonesian time.

Contributions may be made by prayer for lasting peace on Earth.
