Mr. Ashley was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 13, 1921, the son of the late Paul T. and Esther Elizabeth (French) Ashley.
He was married to Marthanna (Wissler) Ashley, on July 16, 1949 in Indianapolis. Mrs. Ashley died on May 19, 2001.
Mr. Ashley was reared and educated in Indianapolis where he graduated from Shortridge High School in 1940 and attended Butler University.
The Ashley family moved to Cambridge City, Indiana in 1964 where they resided until Mr. and Mrs. Ashley moved to Lebanon in 1997. He worked in the early portion of his life as a watchmaker. He then was a mail carrier for Centerville, Indiana for twenty years until he retired in 1985.
Mr. Ashley was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed reading books and music.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2008, at the Peace Chapel in Crown Hill Cemetery, 700 West 38th Street, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
No Visitation is planned.
Myers Mortuary is entrusted with arrangements.
Entombment will follow services.

Paula Sue Ashley
1955-2003
Miss. Ashley was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 21, 1955, the daughter of Paul William and Marthanna (Wissler) Ashley. Mr. Ashley survives.
She was reared and educated in Cambridge City, Indiana where she graduated from Lincoln High School in 1973. She graduated from Miami Jacobs Business College in Dayton, Ohio in 1975 with an Associate Degree as a paralegal.
Ms. Ashley worked in Indianapolis, Indiana at Bank One as an Administrative Assistant in the Trust Department for 24years.
She enjoyed her family and knitting

Place of Death: At Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Lebanon
Cause of Death: Natural Causes
Mr. Baer was born in Clarks Hill, Indiana on February 28, 1920, the son of the late Frank Earl and Isabelle (Harmon) Baer.
Mr. Baer grew up on a farm in the Colfax area and graduated form Bowers High School in 1939 where he played basketball.
In 1951, he married Janet Louise (Williams) Baer and resided in Darlington. Mrs. Baer died on November 10, 1989.
Mr. Baer was employed in Lebanon at Farm Bureau Co-Op, Wayne Mills Electric and Wood Wholesale and vending which was purchased by Stokley Van Camp were he retired from at the age of 62.
Mr. Baer was a devoted husband and father. In addition to his family he enjoyed fishing, gun-shooting and his dog “Brownie”.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2007, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2007, at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon.
Entombment with Military Rites will be at the Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County, Indiana.

Mrs. Bailey was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana on January 14, 1954. She was the daughter of Harold L. and Charlotte M. (Darwactor) Cain who survive.
She moved from Crawfordsville to Thorntown in 1967. She graduated from Thorntown High School in 1972. She attended Central Business College in Indianapolis and graduated in 1980.
Mrs. Bailey was married in Lebanon, Indiana, on October 20, 1972, to Morris E. Bailey. Mr. Bailey survives.
Mrs. Bailey worked as a secretary at I.U.P.U.I. in Indianapolis for twenty-seven years until she retired due to her health.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother she will be missed by her family. Mrs. Bailey enjoyed her family and friends. She was interested reading. Crocheting, computers, and enjoyed watching television.

Interment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County, Indiana.

Mr. Barrett was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 15, 1935, the son of the late Lowell Henry and Elsie Luella (Strode) Barrett.
He was married on May 1, 1954, in Zionsville, Indiana to Frances M. (McClaine). Mrs. Barrett survives.
Mr. Barrett was reared and educated in Zionsville, Indiana, where he graduated from high school. During the period 1953-1965, he served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and was stationed in Korea, Japan and California. He attended Palmer College in Charleston, South Carolina.
In Boone County, Mr. Barrett worked at various locations including Zionsville Grain, Mayflower, Lenox Lincoln-Mercury and Shelby Chevrolet, and as a claims adjuster. He spent twenty years as an auto body repairman. In Lebanon 1970-1980 he operated his own business, Barrett’s Body and Frame. For seventeen years he delivered bulk propane for AmeriGas in Lebanon. In 1998 he retired.
Mr. Barrett was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed camping, woodworking, flying, and spending time with his family.
