A life-resident, Mr. Barton was born in Boone County, Indiana, on March 22, 1942. He was the son of the late Howard Franklin and Ovena Aline (Edens) Barton.
Mr. Barton was employed for periods at Herff-Jones in Indianapolis, Lebanon Industries, and in Max operated his own lawn repair business. The past twenty-five years he was employed at Batts, Inc. in Advance. He entered Parkwood Health Care Center about eight years ago.

Deceased: Two sisters, Helen Robinson and an infant sister, are deceased.

Mrs. Barton was born in Boone County west of Jamestown, Indiana on December 30, 1937, a daughter of the late James Bowen and Mabel Florence (Snider) Bowen who survives.
She spent most of her life in Boone County. In addition, she lived for periods in Darling, Waveland, and Decatur, Georgia.
She graduated from Dover High School in 1956.
She was married on October 26, 1958 to Clifford Charles Woodard and they divorced in 1965. She was married on November 26, 1967 in Lebanon, Indiana to Harry Dean Barton and they divorced in 1978.
Mrs. Barton was a mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed her family, grandchildren, sewing, crocheting, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and scrap book collections.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2004, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be Monday, February 23, 2004, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon.
Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery west of Lebanon, Indiana.

Ms. Bateman was born in Austin, Indiana, on June 25, 1944, the daughter of the late Clyde Harvey and Thelma (Oaks) Gibson.
Ms. Bateman was reared and educated in the Scottsburg area. She resided in Scottsburg, Argos, Plymouth, and Wabash prior to moving to Lebanon in 1984.
In addition to being a homemaker, Ms. Bateman worked most of her career at Witham Memorial Hospital as a nurse aide and then trained as a respiratory therapist. She worked at Witham for seventeen years until 2003 when she retired due to her health.
She was formerly married to Elvin C. Bateman and Herbert J. Gaines.
Ms. Bateman was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. In addition to her family she enjoyed television and pets-cats and dogs.

Visitation is planned for Tuesday, August 17, 2004 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana. On Thursday, August 19, 2004, from noon to 2:00 p.m. visitation will be at the Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg.

Mr. Batts was born in Boone County, Indiana, on November 13, 1926. He was the son of the late Orville Victor Batts, Sr. and Mary Alice (Clemens) Batts.
He was a life resident of Boone County and was educated in North Salem and Jamestown schools.
In Lebanon , Indiana on October 23, 1950, he was married to Doris Lorene (Clossin) Batts. Mrs. Batts survives.
He farmed for a period of time before he served in the United States Navy during World War II. Following the war, he returned to reside in Lebanon and worked at the White Cabin. He then was employed in Zionsville at Pitman-Moore where he was a maintenance technician. Following a period at Wood Wholesale in Lebanon , he worked for Mid State Aggregates in Thorntown until he retired.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed his family, and grandchildren and their activities and sports. In addition, he liked gardening, fishing, hunting, and camping.

Funeral Services are to be held on Friday, December 21, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street , In Lebanon , Indiana .
Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2007.
Interment will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County , Indiana .

She was a life resident of Montgomery County until she moved to Lebanon to make her home with her sister. She was a 1943 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.
She married Raymond Josiah “Jack” Beach on February 6, 1945, in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Mr. Beach died on April 7, 1998.
She was employed at J.J. Donnelly’s in Crawfordsville where she was a proof reader until she retired in 1987. She enjoyed working in retirement at the Darilicious in Crawfordsville for several years.
She was a devoted wife, homemaker, aunt, and employee who enjoyed her family, friends, and her home.

Mr. Beale was born in Parke County, Rockville, Indiana, on July 16, 1945. He was the son of the late Charles L. and Lulah J. (Curts) Beale.
Mr. Beale was a life resident of Thorntown and a 1964 graduate of Thorntown High School.
He was formerly married to Sharon Kay (Green). He was married in Lebanon, Indiana on July 11, 1987 to Marti (Davies) Beale. Mrs. Beale survives.
Mr. Beale worked in home construction for several years and as a deliveryman for Royal Cleaners and Laundry in Lebanon. For seventeen years he was a welder employed at Palmor Products in Thorntown. Then self-employed, he operated Chuck’s Turf Care the past three years.
He served during the Viet Nam era in the U. S. Marines.
He enjoyed his family, his grandsons and their activities, many friends, camping, woodworking, golf, and sports.
