Mrs. Bowers was born in Rolling Prairie, Indiana, on March 4, 1933, the daughter of the late Clifford and Elsie (Martinez) Kegebein.

She was a resident of Plymouth, Indiana and Rolling Prairie prior to her marriage and a resident of Lebanon since her marriage. She was a graduate of Rolling Prairie High School, South Bend Business College in 1952, and Indiana University School of Business in 1957.

She was married on September 9, 1956, in Rolling Prairie, Indiana to Philip Don Bowers. Mr. Bowers died on October 19, 1985.

In Lebanon she assisted her husband in the family appliance business, Bowers Electric, for thirty years. The past twelve years she was bookkeeper for her daughter’s business, Ultimate Tans.

She was a devoted, wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed her family, gardening, and was active in church activities.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon.

Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.

Cause of Death: Accidental Causes following one vehicle accident

Mr. Briggs was born in Denver, Colorado, on August 8, 1950. He was the son of the late William Franklin and Martha Beth (Rucker) Briggs.

He was reared and educated in Denver where he resided until he moved to Indiana in 2005.

He entered the United States Army in February 1970 and was discharged in October 1971.

He was married in Colorado to Sharon Elizabeth (Frankenstein) Finch. Mrs. Finch survives.

He attended Denver Automotive and Diesel College a division of Lincoln College of Technology. He worked in automotive service a number of years and for the past ten years was an education supervisor for the Denver Automotive and Diesel College. He was transferred and moved to Indianapolis in 2005. The past year he was the Director of Education for Automotive and Diesel Technology Departments at the Lincoln College of Technology in Indianapolis.

He had resided at the Advance address since 2006. He enjoyed his family, woodworking, working on automobiles, motorcycles and was an avid Denver Bronco football fan.

Cause of Death: Natural Causes after an extended illness

Mr. Bright was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on September 5, 1951, the son of the late Thomas Edward and Helen May (Van Camp) Bright.

He was married in 1978, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Deborah (Smith) Bright, and later divorced. He was married to Sue Ann (Bennington) Bright on September 15, 1982, in Lebanon, Indiana. Mrs. Bright survives.

He was reared and educated in Noblesville and Indianapolis, Indiana, where he returned after a brief period of absence. He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School, in 1969.

He worked at an Indianapolis printing company for a short period. He was employed at Ayres for a few years and then, he was employed at Airway, until it was bought by Wal-Mart and then sold to the retailer, Target.

Mr. Bright worked for 32 years with Target, until he retired in May of 2002.

Mr. Bright was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He was active in the sporting endeavors of his son, Todd, and enjoyed playing video games, working crossword puzzles and reading various sports articles.

Funeral Services are to be held on Monday, June 28, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2004.

Following Cremation intermenty will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon

John Lee “Jack” Brimberry, 72, died on Saturday May 10, 2008, in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born to Lloyd Daniel Brimberry and Etta Elizabeth (Smith) Brimberry on February 10, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

In Thorntown, Indiana, on June 22, 1963, he was married to Alice (Caldwell) Brimberry. They were married forty-four years and they resided in Indianapolis and Houston, Texas.

He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School, Indianapolis, in 1954. He spent four years serving his country in the United States Navy and following service attended Purdue University.

His career spanned over forty years in the lumber industry where he managed the Burnett Binford and the Wolohan Lumber Companies in Indiana. He retired from the Boise Cascade Lumber Company in Houston.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His favorite past times included golf, fishing, and traveling to spend time with his five grandchildren. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and being a great story teller.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Brimberry, Houston, Texas; his son, John L. Brimberry, Jr. and wife, Erika, Denver, Colorado; his daughter, Claire Elizabeth Riley and husband, Darrin, Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, Josie, Callie, and Addie Brimberry; Hayden and Nolan Riley; a sister, Mary Ann Miles and husband, Anthony, Boggstown, Indiana; and a sister-in-law, Lorrie Brimberry, Apple Valley, California.

A brother, Robert D. “Bob” Brimberry, and a sister, Arnetta “Nan” Hester, are deceased.

Funeral services will be held at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May15, 2008, with Rev. David Patrick officiating.

Visitation will be at Myers Mortuary from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May14, 2008.

Interment will be at the Wilhite Cemetery in Wingate, Indiana.

MRS. MARJORIE L. BROSHAR

Mrs. Broshar was born near Lebanon, Indiana on August 27, 1921, the daughter of the late Clarence Harland and Edith Marie (James) Endicott.

She was a life resident of Boone County and a 1939 graduate of Dover High School.

She was married in Lebanon, Indiana, on August 27, 1939, to Raymond L. Broshar. Mr. Broshar died on November 13, 1997.

She and Mr. Broshar lived on a farm in Jefferson Township near Dover for fifty-four years and moved to Lebanon in 1993. She worked for ten years as a deputy in the auditor’s office for former Boone County Auditor Charles Taylor.

Mrs. Broshar was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed her family, church, and music.

Memberships: Dover Christian Church at Dover where she was choir director for 30 years

Interment will be at the Dover Cemetery in Dover, Indiana.

Mrs. Broshar was born on March 20, 1914, in Lebanon, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Otto Russell Whitaker and Conzie (Campbell) Whitaker.

She was married to Robert Charles Bales in Lebanon on June 25, 1932 and he died on October 10, 1964. She was married to William Broshar in Lebanon on March 4, 1967. Mr. Broshar died on October 5, 1978.

She was a life resident of Boone County in the Lebanon community. She was employed for periods at J & L steel, Club 52, The Boss Manufacturing Company, and by Max and Ruth Bowen as a domestic worker.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her family and grandchildren, she enjoyed needlework and embroidery.

Funeral Services are to be held on Monday, January 10, 2005, at 1:30 p.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2005, at Myers Chapel of Memories in Lebanon.

Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.

Place of Death: At Methodist Hospital

Mrs. Brush was born in Miami County, Macy, Indiana, on January 4, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Elmer Edward King and Grace Louise (Trout) King West who survives.

A resident of Macy a short time, she moved to Boone County, rural Zionsville, with her family at an early age. She resided near Whitestown since with the exception of a couple of years she lived in Lebanon.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed her family and their activities as well as flowers.

She was married in Lebanon, Indiana on July 28, 1958 to Larry Edward Brush. Mr. Brush survives.

In Whitestown she worked at the Whitestown Restaurant; then at Hoosier Village Retirement Center in Zionsville in the dietary department; at the Whitestown Market; and last in Westfield at Jan’s Village Pizza until November 2004.

Memberships: She attended the New Hope Church at Whitestown

Funeral Services are to be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2004, at 10:30 a.m., at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2004 at Myers Mortuary.

Interment will be at the Salem Cemetery near Zionsville.
