Marvin R. Glasson was born in Columbus, Indiana on September 9, 1932. He was the son of the late Charles Franklin and Grace Elizabeth (Henderson) Glasson.
Mr. Glasson resided in Columbus, Indiana where he graduated from Columbus High School in 1949. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War as a paratrooper.
He was married in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Wilma Lee (Riddle) Glasson, on December 18, 1954. Mrs. Glasson survives.
Having trained as a draftsman, Mr. Glasson worked at Cummins Engine in Columbus for several years. He also was employed as a mechanical engineer and worked for various companies including Detroit Diesel Allison Division of General Motors in the Gas Turbine Division. He retired there in 1999.
He enjoyed his family and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He took pride in his grandchildren and great grandchildren and as well as fishing, football, and bowling. He had resided many years in Lebanon until the family recently moved to Fishers in 2006. He was active in Lebanon as a baseball coach for Little League, Babe Ruth League, and assisted with several All-Star teams. He was interested in animals and compassion for helping to care for pets in the community. In light of his interest in animals, his family requests that memorials in his memory be made to the Humane Society For Boone County, P. O. Box 708, Lebanon, Indiana 46052.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2008, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation is planned for Sunday, June 8, 2008, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary.
Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.

Deceased: A daughter, Sandra Sue Glasson, two grandchildren, Kyle B. Scott and Andrew William Kendall, three brothers, Richard Glasson, Donald Glasson, and Kenneth Glasson, are deceased.
John Michael Gogan
Mr. Gogan was born in Bangor, Maine, on April 9, 1946. He was the son of the late Virgil and Leah (Hubbard) Gogan.
He was reared and educated in Bangor, Maine and entered the United States Army. He had been a Lebanon resident since 1967.
He was married in Boone County, Indiana on October 16, 1966, to Anita Louise (Roth) Gogan. Mrs. Gogan survives.
He spent about ten years at Stockley Van Camp in Indianapolis. He then worked in various locations throughout the United States as a field accountant at various construction sites. He last was employed as a purchasing agent supervisor at Ft. Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis. He retired there in November 1991.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed his family reading and stamp collecting.

Mr. Golden was born in Newport, Tennessee, on November 26, 1934, the son of the late Buford and Lucy Vianna (Taylor) Golden.
Mr. Golden was reared and educated in Parrotsville, Tennessee and moved to Lebanon, Indiana in 1952. He served seven years in the Indiana National Guard and was assigned to the Lebanon Unit.
He was married to Wanda M. (Witt) Golden in Boone County, Indiana on November 28, 1958. Mrs. Golden survives.
Mr. Golden worked in Lebanon for periods at McDaniel T.V. and Appliances and Monlon Corporation. In 1982 he was employed by the Lebanon Consolidated School System as a maintenance technician until he retired in 1996.
Mr. Golden was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. In addition to his family he enjoyed travel, golf, yard work, and gospel music. He also liked carpentry. Along with his brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Nancy Golden, they finished the lower level of the Knotty Pine Restaurant into a gift shop.

Gladys (Jewell) Goodknight
Gladys (Jewell) Goodknight of Kokomo, Indiana died on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was 74 years old. She had battled cancer for more than a year.
Gladys graduated from Forest High School in 1950 and went to work for Delco General Motors (now Delphi Electronics) in Kokomo immediately after graduation. She retired with 47 years of service where she was a crystal grower at the electronics company.
Gladys was born at Lucas in Barren County, Kentucky on January 15, 1930. She was the youngest child of the late Fielding Parsley Jewell and Alma Mae Whitney Jewell. Gladys and her father moved to Forest, Indiana shortly after the death of her mother in 1938 when Gladys was eight years old. Gladys was married to and divorced from Brice Goodknight. They had no children.
She is survived by a sister Anna Marie Morrow of Lebanon, Indiana and a brother Billy Jewell of Shoals, Indiana. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death - Johnny, Charles Thomas and Jack Jewell and Louise Jewell Lewis, formerly of Park City, Kentucky. Ten nieces and three nephews also survive her. One nephew, Timmy Morrow, of Lebanon, Indiana preceded her in death. The nieces are Joyce Lewis Wilson, Jewell Lewis Shane, Joanna Lewis Bissonnette, Betty Lewis Dawson, Bertha Lewis Shane, Patricia Morrow Edwards, Suzie Morrow Marlatt, Kathy Jewell Bolton, Jackie Jewell, and Jan Jewell. The nephews are Jerry Michael Lewis, Johnny Allen Jewell, and Kevin Jewell.
Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, will conduct services. Visitation is Wednesday, July 21, 2004 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon with funeral services following immediately at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Born in Kirklin, Indiana June 15, 1926 to Parents Jean Gordon Gorham, and Clara (Loveless) Gorham.
He had been raised and educated in Kirklin, and joined the Army during WWII. He had been stationed in Germany. Upon completion of his military duty he returned home and resumed his education graduating with the Kirklin H.S. Class of 1946.
He was married April 22, 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Carol J. Wyman who survives.
He had worked at Allison Division of General Motors for 20 Years. He had also owned the Northside Shell Station on Lebanon Street, for a period of 6 years, and was in business as a locksmith in Lebanon until his retirement in 2002.
Memberships include St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Lebanon. The American Legion, Lebanon. He had been a volunteer with Project Help, and was a former member of Vesty. He had been a member of the NRA, and National Locksmith Assn.
In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by children, Rebecca A. Gorham of Lebanon; Rick and his friend Michele, and Jon and wife Jerri Gorham, both of Terre Haute, Indiana. Grandchildren include: Stephanie O’Neal and husband Chad; and Jeffery T. and Nathaniel W. Gorham of Terre Haute, In. and Amy Decker and Martin Gorham of Lebanon. Great Grandchildren Josh and Kaleigh Decker of Lebanon, In; and Clayton and Hailey Jo O’Neal , Sabrina and Erika Valentine of Terre Haute. Sisters Betty Turner of New Ross, IN. Mrs. Lawrence (Mary) Cook; Martha Park; Mrs. Bill (Marjory) Brooks and Judith Gorham all of Frankfort, IN. Several nieces and nephews still survive.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey H. Gorham who died in 1983.

Memorial Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday October 30, 2004 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Lebanon, Indiana
Visitation is planned from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday October 30, 2004 also at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
Committal of the Ashes will follow at the columbarium of the Church.

Mr. Gott was born in Newtown, Indiana on April 28, 1926, and was a son of the late Lee Murray Gott, Sr. and Mary (Wildman) Gott.
He moved to Boone County at age four from Newtown, Indiana. Mr. Gott graduated from Dover High School in 1944. He lived most of his life in Lebanon.
Mr. Gott was married to Donna Lee (Tanselle) Gott on December 15, 1946, in Rev. Raymond Duff’s home near Dover, Indiana. Mrs. Gott survives.
Mr. Gott served in the U.S. Army during World War II, 1944-1946. In 1956 he became active in the Indiana National Guard and served in Lebanon and later in the Air Guard in Shelbyville, Indiana for a total of twenty-five years.
He retired from Detroit Diesel, Allison Division of General Motors in 1988 where he worked for thirty-six years as a supervisor. He then managed the Lebanon Veteran of Foreign Wars for twelve years.
Mr. Gott enjoyed golfing, bowling, reading, Christmas decorations, and spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends.
