Idabelle I. Bowen
1919-2003
Mrs. Bowen was born near Whitestown in Boone County, Indiana, on February 18, 1919, a daughter of the late Grover and Hazel (Engledow) Staton.
A life-resident of Boone County, she had lived in Whitestown, Advance, and Perry Township.
Mrs. Bowen was first married in Boone County, Indiana, on July 2, 1939 to James C. Roberts. They divorced in 1946. Her second marriage was to Frank Maddox in 1950 and they divorced in 1958. In December 1966 she married Tyner James Bowen in Lebanon. Mr. Bowen died May 30, 1986.
She worked at Pitman-Moore and then in the kitchen at West-Side Cafe.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed her family, being a homemaker, flowers, gardening, and traveling.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 23, 2003, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Interment will be at the Salem Cemetery near Zionsville, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, 2003, at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon.

Mr. Isenhower was born on March 29, 1925, in Boone County, Indiana. He was the son of the late Orville and Ruth (Brock) Isenhower.
He was married to Ruth Naomi (Hendrix) Isenhower on April 29, 1945, in Boone County. She died on June 28, 1993.
Reared and educated in Boone County Mr. Isenhower graduated from Whitestown High School. He farmed for a number of years and drove a truck twenty-two years for Pete’s Feed Company in Frankfort, Indiana. He retired at age sixty-two and remained active mowing grass and as a driver for the Indianapolis Car Exchange.
Mr. Isenhower attended the Mechanicsburg Christian Church.
Mr. Isenhower was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation is planned for Friday, February 29, 2008, at Myers Mortuary from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Center Cemetery east of Lebanon, Indiana.

A life-resident of Lebanon, Mr. Jamison was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on November 25, 1961. He was the son of the late Kenneth Leroy Jamison, Sr. and Edna Mae (Chapman) Jamison. He served in the Indiana National Guard.
Mr. Jamison was employed in various capacities in the Lebanon community. He was self employed the longest period and hauled recycling materials. He had also operated heavy equipment and most recently had been employed at Pearson Education and then at Hachette Books in Lebanon.

Mr. Jenkins was born in Jackson County, Cortland, Indiana, on September 29, 1930, the son of the late Temple B. and Lenore (Bennett) Jenkins.
Mr. Jenkins was raised in Jackson County, Indiana and moved to Indianapolis at age eleven. He graduated from Broadripple High School in Indianapolis. He continued his education at Purdue University and studied engineering. He then served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict 1951-1952.
He returned to the study of engineering and moved to Lebanon. He worked in Lebanon for Winkler Brothers 1953-1955; ran a Pure Oil Service Station in Fishers, 1956-1957; employee of J.D. Gould, Indianapolis, 1958-1959. Then he ran his own manufacturing business most recently to include VALCO and Jenkins Engineering in Lebanon, Indiana where he retired in 1993 due to his health.
He was married thirty-four years to Linda Sue (McLain) Jenkins and resided in Carmel, Indiana during that period until they divorced. He was married in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, on July 11, 1989, to Kathryn M. (Coffing) Totis. She survives.
Mr. Jenkins enjoyed flying and was a private pilot. He also vacationed in Canada where he enjoyed scuba diving. He liked to create metal products and enjoyed building all types of vehicles and bikes. He also enjoyed rebuilding and maintaining old clocks.

Funeral Services will be held at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, on Saturday, March 13, 2004, at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation is planned for Saturday, March 13, 2004, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon.
Burial will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana.

John H. Mullikin
1925-2003
Mr. Mullikin was born on May 16, 1925, in Lebanon, Indiana, the son of the late William Hobert and Verna L. (Hoffman) Mullikin.
Mr. Mullikin was reared and educated in Lebanon where he graduated from Lebanon High School in 1943 and later attended Indiana University Purdue University Incorporated.
He served in the Marines during WWII in the Pacific in the Philippines from 1943-1946.
He married Sue (Hart) Mullikin on October 11, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Mullikin survives.
He had moved to Valparaiso, Indiana for fifteen years and returned to Lebanon in 1987.
In addition to being a farmer for forty years in Boone County and a carpenter for twenty years, he was a project inspector for Everett I. Brown Company in Indianapolis. He retired in 1987 after fifteen years of service. Since retirement he had worked as a greeter for Myers Mortuary in Lebanon.
He had been a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed his family, woodworking, and traveling.

Ms. Johnson was born in Lebanon, Indiana on September 6, 1963. She was the daughter of the late Lyle Edward and Lesta Sue (Shirling) Johnson.
A native of Lebanon, Ms. Johnson moved to Osceola where she graduated from Penn High School in Mishawaka. She received an Associates Degree from Vincennes University in Museum Studies. In addition, she studied culinary arts at St. Joseph Junior College.
For periods she resided in Warsaw, Idaho, and Indianapolis returning to Lebanon about 1992.
She was employed in several capacities and organizations including Conner Prairie in Hamilton County and as a security courier.
She was a devoted mother, and sister who enjoyed her family and their activities. She like knitting and was an avid reader. She enjoyed cooking for her family.

Lyle E. Johnson
1938-2003
Mr. Johnson was born in Lebanon, Indiana on July 11, 1938, the son of the late Homer Charles and Gladys Margarette (Shelburne) Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was a life resident of Boone County with the exception of the period he spent in the U.S. Army. He attended Lebanon schools. After school he joined the U.S. Army and served July 1955 to July 1959. Following his return to Boone County, he served in the Indiana National Guard for five years.
He was married in Elizaville, Indiana on June 16, 1961 to Lesta Sue (Shirling) and they divorced in 1968. He was married in Lebanon, Indiana on November 6, 1970 to Dorothy Ellen (Linklatter) Gambrel Johnson. Mrs. Johnson died on March 19, 2003.
He worked at Stewart Warner Corporation in Lebanon for 18 years. He then worked at a variety of positions in Lebanon including Webb Wheel, Lau Blower, Oak Hill Cemetery, Jack Culley Gulf, and Bill Culley Sunoco. He last was employed as a security guard until he retired in 1998.
