Date of Death: Monday afternoon, August 23, 2004, at 4:05 p.m.

Place of Death: Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana

Cause of Death: Natural Causes

Mr. Kinslow was born on December 25, 1936, in Barren County, Glasgow, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Willie Moss and Anna Mae (Steenbergen) Kinslow.

He was married on April 17, 1971, in Lebanon, Indiana to Mary Ellen (Hood) Kinslow. She survives.

He was reared and educated in Kentucky and moved to Lebanon in 1960.

Mr. Kinslow worked for several years as a truck driver. He began working for Essex and Kouns Grain Company in Whitestown, Indiana from 1970 to 1980. His last employment was at the Waitt Company in Cicero, Indiana, where he a millwright. He retired in 1999, due to his health.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to being an avid hunter, Mr. Kinslow enjoyed sports, including Nascar.

Funeral Services are to be held on Friday, August 27, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2004.

Interment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County, Indiana.

Place of Death: St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis, Indiana

Cause of Death: Natural Causes following an extended illness

Mrs. Klepser was born in Cardwell, Missouri, on March 20, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Ray and Dorotha Marie (Jackson) Lofton.

She was reared in Cardwell, Missouri where she graduated from high school and lived until she moved to Danville, Indiana in the 1960’s. Since 1966 she resided in Lebanon.

She was married on February 19, 1971, to Harold Glenn Klepser. Mr. Klepser died on October 18, 1978.

Employed as a bartender, she worked in various establishments until she retired due to her health at the end of 2003. During her marriage to Mr. Klepser they owned the Shady Lane Trailer Court in Lebanon.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed her family and their activities as well as reading, gardening and flowers, cooking, and her cats, Tinkerbell and Prissy.

Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.

Date of Death: Saturday, June 5, 2004, at 6:20 p.m.

Place of Death: At Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon, Indiana

Cause of Death: Natural Causes following an extended illness

Mrs. Knight was born in Henry County, New Castle, Indiana, on September 21, 1933, the daughter of the late Albert L. and Mary E. (Hunter) Johnson.

She spent her early life in New Castle, Indiana where she graduated from high school in 1951. She then attended from Ohio State University where she studied nursing. She served in the U. S. Air Force for 1952-1953 and returned to New Castle where she resided until 1969. She lived in Indianapolis prior to residing at the current Advance address where she moved in 1977.

In addition to being a homemaker, she was employed in Indianapolis for thirty years at A T & T. She was a clerk and a supervisor until she retired March 17, 1989.

She was married to James William Knight on November 16, 1981, in Boone County, Indiana. Mr. Knight died on September 11, 2001.

In addition to her family she enjoyed sewing, reading, and genealogy.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 319 East South Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, on Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at 9:00 a.m.

Visitation is planned for Tuesday, June 8, 2004, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon.

Burial will follow military rites at the Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown, Indiana.

A Vigil Service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at 7:30 p.m. at Myers Mortuary.

Steven Lee Jouns, Sr.

1943-2003

Mr. Kouns was born on December 24, 1943, in Lebanon, Indiana, the son of the late John Ingram Kouns and Violet Lucille (Smith) Kouns Clingler who survives.

Mr. Kouns was reared and educated in Boone County and lived most of his life in Lebanon with the exception of a year spent in Texas. As the valedictorian of his class he graduated in 1962 from Dover High School.

He was married to Norma Jean (Hale) Kouns on July 30, 1962 in Lebanon, Indiana. Mrs. Kouns survives.

In high school, he helped on the family farm and was interested in hot rods. He studied tool and die training and worked as a master tool and die maker and designer in Indianapolis and Lebanon. He was employed in Indianapolis at Johnson Engineering, R.C.A. and then Von Duprin. In 1986 he started K & M. Tool and Die Company in Lebanon having remained active as long as his health permitted. He was known for his innovative design of unique equipment in tools and machines. He developed medical technology equipment and catheter equipment designs.

He had been a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed his family and particularly his grandchildren having been involved in their activities. He was a Boys and Girls Club volunteer and coach, a history enthusiast, an avid sports fan including Lebanon basketball and baseball, and an avid supporter of the National Hot Rod Association.

Officiating: Rev. Dennis Woodard

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.

Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation is planned from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon.

Mrs. Krouse was born in Oak Ridge , Tennessee on May 15, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Annette Steincipher Rhoderick.

Until age six, Mrs. Krouse resided in Oak Ridge , Tennessee and her family moved to Indianapolis .

Mrs. Krouse was married in Hardy, Arkansas, on August 6, 1984, to Ervin G. Krouse. Mr. Krouse died on March 19, 2005.

Mrs. Krouse worked as a deputy in the Tax Assessor’s Office in Marion County for several years. She then worked thirteen years in the Indiana State Treasurer’s Office. She and Mr. Krouse retired to reside in Florida in 1988. The couple resided in Daytona Beach , Florida for four years and moved to the present Whitestown address in 1993. They had resided periods of the year between Whitestown and Florida until becoming year-round residents in Whitestown in 1993.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Mrs. Krouse enjoyed her family and friends. She was interested in her family and their activities.
