Mr. Posey was born on September 16, 1934, in Clementsville, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Vitus and Helen Elizabeth (Wethington) Posey.
He was married on March 30, 1957, in Thorntown, Indiana to Lorene Muriel (Holt) Posey. Mrs. Posey survives.
He was reared and educated in Clementsville, Kentucky where he graduated from High School. He served as a corporal during the Korean War in the United States Marine Corps. Following service, he moved to Lebanon where he was an employee of J and L Steel. He worked for a period at Linclon Memory Gardens. He was last employed at Triple A Warehouse in Indianapolis where in 1964 he was injured at work and since was quadriplegic. He was known for his positive attitude and was instrumental in having counseled and encouraged other stroke and accident victims through depression and challenges of their respective changed lives.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and had been an avid fisherman. In addition to his love for his family, he was dedicated to the love of his life, Lorene, who was his beloved caregiver.

Funeral Services are to be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2008.
Interment will follow military rites at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.

Mr. Price was born in Success, Missouri on March 9, 1912. He was the son of the late Charles Price and Sarah Elizabeth “Sadie” (Dunn) Price .
He was a resident of Success, Missouri until age thirteen when he moved to Paragould , Arkansas . He was a medic in the Army during World War II. Following the period in the Army, he returned to Paragould .
He was married to Elizabeth Ivy (Durrant) Price in London , England on July 21, 1945. Mrs. Price died on January 7, 2002.
He farmed until the couple moved to Louisville in 1951. He worked at Louisville Cooperage making barrels. Following retirement, he helped at Churchill Downs and Louisville Downs were he cared for the horses. He moved to Lebanon in 2002.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Funeral Services are to be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street , in Lebanon , Indiana .
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon .
Cremation will precede services.

Ms. Price , a long time resident of Kirklin, died Friday morning at her brother’s home in Canton, Georgia.
A native of Marion County , she was born December 2, 1931, in Indianapolis , the daughter of the late William Kurt and Madge Doyle (Corwin) Curl.
She was formerly married to Russell Price and they divorced.
She worked for a number of years in Frankfort at Federal Mogul where she retired about 1997. She spent the last two years with her brother in Canton .
She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed family gatherings. In addition to her family, she enjoyed fishing, gardening, crossword puzzles, and Bingo.

Rev. Ralph S. Price
1916-2003
Rev. Price was born in Clinton County, Indiana, on May 30, 1916. He was the son of the late John Thomas and Lettie Bell (Ellis) Price .
He married Elsie B. (Wainscott) Price in Clinton County, Indiana, on June 11, 1936. Mrs. Price survives.
Rev. Price was reared and educated in Clinton County where he graduated from Sugar Creek High School in 1934. Following high school he was in the Army for two years. He later served during WWII in the Navy Sea Bees from 1944 - 1946.
A minister for the Church of the Nazarene, he first founded a Nazarene church in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1959 he founded the First Church of the Nazarene in Lebanon, Indiana. During his career he served various other churches including Oakland, Landis, Sugar Creek, Sheridan, Kokomo, and West Lebanon, Indiana, where he retired in 1985. In addition to the ministry, he had been active as a direct sales representative for various companies.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he enjoyed his family and his church work. He also enjoyed horseshoes, golf and sports on TV.

Ann K. Pruitt
Mrs. Pruitt was born in Boone County, Indiana on July 19, 1920, the daughter of Ora Artie and Nora Ellen (Burress) Kincaid. She was reared in Boone County and moved to Clinton County following her marriage. She graduated from high school and worked for several years at L. S. Ayres and Company in Indianapolis.
She was married on September 27, 1941, in Kokomo, Indiana, to the Harold K. Pruitt. Mr. Pruitt died on June 9, 1972.
She was married and resided on a farm in southeastern Clinton County. Following Mr. Pruitt’s death, she moved to Frankfort. She was employed as an executive secretary in the Human Resources Department at Mallory’s in Frankfort for twenty years.
She was a devoted wife, homemaker, and employee. She enjoyed her family and golf.

Mrs. Puckett was born in Thorntown, Indiana, on February 20, 1917. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Byrul (Joseph) Taylor.
Mrs. Puckett was a resident of Thorntown and a 1936 graduate of Thorntown High School. She worked as a telephone operator in Thorntown for five years and as a waitress at Millers Restaurant in Colfax. She moved to Indianapolis in 1963 and worked a number of years in Indianapolis employed at the Indiana Insurance Company until she retired in 1982. She was a nanny for several Lebanon families in her retirement for thirteen years.
She was formerly married to James D. Puckett.

Family Graveside Funeral Services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2008, at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown, Indiana.
No Visitation was held.
Myers Mortuary in Lebanon was in charge of arrangements.
