1938-2003

Mrs. Schultz was born in Advance, Indiana on November 22, 1938. She was a daughter of the late Albert N. and Dorothy L. (Brown) Robison.

Mrs. Schultz was reared and educated in Boone County and attended Jackson Township Schools.

She had been a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her family, crafts, crocheting, and collecting dolls.

Mrs. Schultz had worked primarily as a cook and a waitress. During her career she had worked at Ulen Country Club, Blue & White Truck Stop, Crawfordsville High School, and Wabash College. Mrs. Schultz had also worked for Richwine Auction House in Brownsburg. She retired from Clarion Hospital in Crawfordsville in 2001. During her retirement she worked as a clerk at IGA in Lebanon.

Funeral Services are planned for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2003 at Myers Chapel of Memories, Lebanon, Indiana

Interment of ashes will be at a later date in Flynn Cemetery, Stuttgard, Arkansas.

Visitation is planned for Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, Lebanon, Indiana.

Two sons: Mr. James M. “Jimmy” Schultz, Jr. - Lebanon, Indiana

Mr. Freddie L. Schultz - Jacksonville, Florida

Two brothers: Mr. Freddie L. Robison - New Ross, Indiana

Two Sisters: Mrs. Jack (Yvonne) Deckard - Crawfordsville, Indiana

Ms. Beula Asbury - Lebanon, Indiana

Deceased: Mrs. Schultz was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Sue Halford, a granddaughter, Tammy H. Schultz, and two brothers, Bobbie E. Robison and Donald Gene Robison.

Vernon E. McFarland

1963-2003

Mr. McFarland was born on August 29, 1963, in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of the late Vernon Franklin McFarland and Carolyn Iolene (Gorrell) McFarland of Sullivan, Illinois.

Mr. McFarland was reared and educated in Sullivan, Illinois and he graduated from Sullivan High School in 1981. He attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where he studied engineering mechanics and materials as well as math. He received his B.S. Degree in December 1985. He later attended Purdue University where he received an M.S. Degree in mechanical engineering.

He was married to Dawn Kay (Back) McFarland on July 11, 1987 in Greencastle, Indiana. Mrs. McFarland survives.

Mr. McFarland had been employed in Indianapolis at Rolls-Royce Corporation (formerly Allison Gas Turbine) since 1986 where he managed programs for the development of commercial and military jet engines.

He had been a devoted husband and church member.

Memberships: Grace Baptist Church in Lebanon where he was a Deacon and he and Mrs. McFarland were youth leaders

Funeral Services are planned for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at Grace Baptist Church in Lebanon.

Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation is planned from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon.

Mother: Mrs. Carolyn I. McFarland - Sullivan, Illinois

One Sister: Mrs. Paul (Michele K.) Harshbarger - Arcola, Illinois

James E. Watkins

1931-2003

Mr. Watkins was born in Danville, Indiana on June 15, 1931, the son of the late Arny Moore and Martha Alice (Stum) Watkins.

As a resident of Danville, Mr. Watkins graduated from Danville High School in 1950. He trained as an electronics technician.

He moved to live in Lebanon between 1956 and 1966 and worked for Al Walkington. He moved to Indianapolis in 1966 where he had since resided. He also worked as a technician in Indianapolis repairing radios and televisions. He retired in 1989.

Officiating:

Private Graveside Services will be held following cremation.

No Visitation is planned.

Myers Mortuary in Lebanon is handling arrangements.

Interment will be at Danville South Cemetery in Danville, Indiana.

Survivors:

One Sister: Mrs. John L. (Doris J.) Hayden - Lebanon, Indiana

Two Nieces: Ms. Liz Hay - Charlotte, North Carolina

Ms. Maggie Shull - Indianapolis, Indiana

One Nephew: Mr. Mike Hay - Guilford, Connecticut

Jeffrey M. Wells

1977-2003

Mr. Wells was born in Lebanon, Indiana on January 18, 1977, the son of Wesley Wayne and Debra Darlene (Johnson) Wells.

A life-resident of Boone County, Mr. Wells graduated from Western Boone High School in 1996. He then completed a year of study in collision/refinishing technology at Wyoming Technical Institute in Laramie, Wyoming.

He had worked in various capacities in automotive restoration for dealerships and repair shops in the Indianapolis and Lebanon areas. He had particularly enjoyed painting motorcycles. In addition, he was seasonally employed by the Asplundh Tree Service of Lebanon. He had been working in Michigan at the time of his death.

In addition to being a devoted son, he was interested in music, animals and dogs, and photography.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2003, at Myers
Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation is planned for 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at Myers
Mortuary in Lebanon.

Interment will be at Browns Wonder Cemetery east of Lebanon, Indiana.

Bonnie L. Welton

1933-2003

Mrs. Bonnie L. Welton, Age: 70, of Indianapolis died May 4.

Mrs. Welton was reared and educated in Petersburg, West Virginia, where she graduated from Petersburg High School in 1950.

She was the widow of Dale G. Welton.

In Indianapolis she had been a retail sales clerk for several years at Tall Fashions.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on May 9, 2003, at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, IN. where visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on May 8, 2003.

Interment will be at the Zionsville Cemetery in Zionsville, Indiana.

Survivors include Three Children, Steve A. Welton and Matthew J. Welton of Indianapolis and Donna K. Welton - Lebanon, Three Brothers, Ronald J. “Jack” Moyers, Denver, CO, William David Sherman, Livermore, CA, and Dale D. Sherman, Geneva, Florida, One Sister: Shirley J. Kimbale, Keyser, W. V., and Two Grandchildren, Bryan A. Welton and Eliza K. Welton.

Wilma F. Kelley

1933-2003

Born in Travelers Rest, Kentucky on February 11, 1933, Mrs. Kelley was the daughter of the late Luke Dow and Eliza Jane (Estes) Flannery.

She was married to Kenneth WAYNE Kelley on September 6, 1952, in Lebanon, Indiana. Mr. Kelly died on December 15, 1987.

Mrs. Kelley was reared and educated in Kentucky and moved to Rush County at age fourteen. She worked as a waitress at the Airport Inn in Rush County. Following her marriage she had resided in Lebanon.

In Lebanon she worked in various positions including as a clerk at the Haag Drug Store, as a nurse aide at Oak Park Manor Nursing Home, Parkwood Health Care Center and Witham Memorial Hospital, J.C. Penneys, Arbor Acres, 3-D, and as a caregiver for various Lebanon residents.

A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed her family, reading the Bible and quilting.

Funeral Services are planned for Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 8, 2003, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana.

Interment with will be at Mts. Runn Cemetery, Lebanon, Indiana.

Deceased are seven brothers, Dale Kendrick, Kernel Kendrick, Farris Flannery, James Flannery, Lyman Flannery, Willie Flannery, and Wilbur Flannery, and two sisters, Anna Boyd Murphy and Nanny Margaret Mofield.

Sharon Booker, 54, of Charlestown, passed October 27, 2008 at Midwestern regional Medical Center in Zion, IL. Visiting will be held at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM and Friday from 10 to 11 AM. The funeral will be held at Christ GospelChurch on Friday at 11 AM, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.

Wilma Booth, 91, of Clarksville, passed October 25, 2008 at her residence. The memorial service will be held at Crawford Couty Consolidated United Methodist Church on Thursday at 1 PM, with burial in Fredonia Cemetery.

Carol Leuty, 84, of Sellersburg, passed April 17, 2009 at Providence Retirement Home. Visiting will be held at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM. The funeral will be held at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday at 1 PM, with burial in Graceland Cemetery.

Zachary Rambo, 20, of Sellersburg, passed April 5, 2009 at Clark Memorial Hospital. Visiting will be held at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel on Tuesday from 3 to 8 PM. The funeral will be held at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel on Wednesday at 1 PM, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.

Richard Houchins, 61, of Jeffersonville, passed April 2, 2009 at Riverview Village. Visiting will be held at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel on Sunday from 1 to 8 PM. The funeral will be held at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel on Monday at 10 AM, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Cemetery.

Harold "Tom" Ellingsworth, 77, of Jeffersonville, passed April 1, 2009 at his residence. Visiting will be held at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel on Friday from 1 to 8 PM. The funeral will be held at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel on Saturday at 1:30 PM, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.

James "Jay" Applegate, 74, of Jeffersonville, passed March 30, 2009 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. Visiting will be held at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel on Thursday from 2 to 7 PM. A private memorial service will be held. Cremation was chosen and will be done by Falls City Crematory.

Tamra Mauck, 47, of Jeffersonville, passed March 29, 2009 at Clark Memorial Hospital. Visiting will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. The funeral will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday at 1 PM, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Cemetery.

Brenda Dooley, 64, of Jeffersonville, passed March 25, 2009 at Clark Memorial Hospital. Visiting will be held at Scott Funeral Home's Main Street Chapel on Friday from 2 to 8 PM. The funeral will be held at St. Augustine's Church on Saturday at 10 AM, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.

Evelyn Trinkle, 90, of Louisville, passed March 22, 2009 at Regency Healthcare. Visiting will be held at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel on Wednesday from 2 to 8 PM. The funeral will be held at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel on Thursday at 11 AM, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
