Catherine Kay Wade, 90, of 1900 Jeanwood Drive, formerly of 1125 McPherson St., died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 8, 2002) at Elkhart General Hospital. Mrs. Wade was born in Elkhart on April 9, 1911, the daughter of W.E. and Lillian (Helsel) Thomas, and married Herman Konow on May 28, 1942.

Timothy D. Wentz, 55, of 758 W. Lincoln St., died at 7:37 p.m. Monday (Jan. 7, 2002) in the emergency room at Elkhart General Hospital. Mr. Wentz, the son of Gerald and Ruby (Trussel) Wentz of Warren, was born in Hartford City on July 20, 1946, graduated in 1964 from Hartford City High School.

John F. Howard, 56, of Heatherwood Green, Cromwell, and formerly of Elkhart, died Thursday (Jan. 31, 2002) in a plane crash. He was born in Washington, D.C., and lived in Elkhart from 1982 to 1998, when he moved to Cromwell. His wife, Angela, survives.
