Loretta Fehd
ELBERFELD, Ind. - Loretta M. Fehd, 78, died Tuesday morning at Woodlands Convalescent Center in Newburgh. A 1941 Purdue University
graduate, she was a 4-H Club leader for 20 years and a member of Warrick County Farm Bureau.
She was a member of Zoar United Church of Christ in Elberfeld, where she was church organist for 55 years and a member of the Women-s Guild.
Surviving are three daughters, Karla Fehd of Indianapolis, Carol Held of Alliance, Ohio, and Linda Griffin of Alexandria, Va.; a son, Alan of Elberfeld; a sister, Verneda Ashby of Evansville; and a brother, Marvin Heilmann of Evansville.
Her husband, Elmer, died in 1996.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zoar Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Simpson Funeral Home Volkman Chapel, and from 1 p.m. to service time Thursday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zoar United Church of Christ in Elberfeld.
Noma Alldredge
MOUNT VERNON, Ind. - Noma Alldredge, 84, died Monday night at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was a member of Enfield (Ill.) Gen
eral Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Sue Murphy of Mount Vernon; four sisters, Blanche Meade and Pauline Poor, both of Enfield, Audia Rose of Mount Vernon and Goldie Jordan of Advance, Mo.; a brother, Franklin Russell of Enfield; three grandchildren, Debra J. Williams, Brenda K. Wagner and Roger L. Alldredge; four great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Albert B., died in 1979, and a son, Albert E., died in 1969.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Boone Funeral Home Mount Vernon Chapel, with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Imogene Riddle
OAKLAND CITY, Ind. - Imogene Brenton Riddle, 85, died Tuesday morning at Regina Continuing Care Center in Evansville.
A 1929 graduate of Oakland City High School and a 1932 graduate of Oakland City College, she taught at Lincoln Heights and White Oak schools in Columbia Township, Spurgeon School from 1954-57 and Oakland City Elementary School until her retirement in 1977.
She and her husband operated a grocery store for many years.
She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are five nieces, Norma Tolbert Cardinal of Mattoon, Ill., Helen Frederick Crow of Franklin, Vonda Brenton Dorsey of Petersburg, Wilma Brenton Stocker of Chandler and Lynn Brenton Grier of Hemingway, S.C.; a nephew, Wilbur Frederick of Evansville; and a great-nephew and his wife who cared for her, Jim and Donna Blanton of Evansville.
Her husband, Arthur, died in 1978.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, with burial in Montgomery Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to service time Friday at the chapel.
Cecile Porter
BOONVILLE, Ind. - Cecile Porter, 87, died Tuesday morning at St. Mary-s Warrick Hospital.
She was a member of Main Street General Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Ernest; two daughters, Jeanene Eberhard of Boonville and Jeanette Lawwill of Homosassa, Fla.; a son, Alvin of Madisonville, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bradley-s Colonial Chapel in Boonville, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Elzadie Nance
PETERSBURG, Ind. - Elzadie Nance, 97, died Tuesday morning at Petersburg Health Care.
Surviving are two daughters, Jerry Siebe of Petersburg and Lucille Combs of Ottawa, Ill.; a son, Gordon of Greenfield; two sisters, Opal Hayne of Cocoa, Fla., and Melva Biddle of Lafayette; a brother, Bob Purl of Winslow; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe C., in 1974, and by two sons, Paul and Maurice.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. EST Friday at Harris Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Hills Cemetery.

Elizabeth Helming
FERDINAND, Ind. - Elizabeth M. Helming, 98, died Monday afternoon at Scenic Hills Care Center.
Surviving are three daughters, Almeda Bettag of Ferdinand, Marian Zoll of Nicholasville, Ky., and Alice Obaroski of Port Charlotte, Fla.; two sons, Arthur and William, both of Ferdinand; 25 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward in 1988, a daughter, Gladys, and a son, Norbert.
Services will be at 10 a.m. EST Thursday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Becher Funeral Home, where St. Ann Sodality and parish members will conduct a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. today.
Betty Irvin
LYNNVILLE, Ind. - Betty Ann (Youngblood) Irvin, 64, of Glendale, Ariz., formerly of Warrick County, died Saturday in Sun City, Ariz.
She attended Lynnville High School and North Friendship General Baptist Church in Lynnville.
Surviving are her husband, Norman; two daughters, Becky Underhill of Indianapolis and Bonnie Irvin of Glendale; three sons, Bill of Indianapolis, Bob of Boonville and Bryan of Spencer; four sisters, Mildred Ogden of Heyworth, Ill., Ruby Kujawski of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mary Geske of Colfax, Ill., and Thelma Bates of Evansville; two brothers, Kenny Youngblood of Jacksonville, Fla., and Bob Youngblood of Muncie; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Barry.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Sunwest Cemetery in El Mirage, Ariz.
Sunwest Funeral Home in Sun City is handling arrangements.
Stanley Austin
ENGLISH, Ind. - Stanley 'Joe Bud' L. Austin, 69, died Sunday at his home.
Surviving is a brother, Charles of Tell City.
Services will be at 11 a.m. EST Thursday at Denbo Funeral Home, with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Annizene Howard
TENNYSON, Ind. - Annizene Howard, 76, formerly of Tennyson and Evansville, died Tuesday morning at St. Anthony Hospital in Effingham, Ill.
Surviving are a son, Russell H. of Effingham; a sister, Jeanette Byers of Evansville; and four grandchildren, Amy and Melinda Howard, and Troy and Travis Starwalt.
Her husband, Horace E. 'Shorty,' died in 1988.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel, with burial in Garrison Cemetery near Tennyson.

Marvin Boerner
Marvin G. Boerner, 65, of Evansville, died Tuesday afternoon at Welborn Baptist Hospital. He retired in 1993 after 30 years at Whirlpool Corp. He was a Navy veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Sue (Abney); a daughter, Karen L. Boerner of Evansville; and a sister, Delores May of Evansville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, the Rev. John L. Rogers officiating, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park, where Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military rites.

Marguerite Burklow
Marguerite L. Burklow, 79, of Evansville, died Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Anna Faye Vibbert of Evansville. She was a member of the
Dorcas Class at Grace Baptist Church.
Also surviving are two daughters, Shirley Jean Papp of Marshallville, Ohio, and Marion Louise Dennis of Green, Ohio; a son, William Carl Jr. of Sumner, Wash.; a sister, Virginia Grey of Grand Rapids, Va.; a brother, James Humphrey of Hudson, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, William Carl, died in 1995.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, the Rev. Tom Savage officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Lawrence Miller
Lawrence Evart Miller, 81, died Wednesday at the Rathbone Home. He reorganized his father's block business into Miller Block Co., now one of the oldest family owned businesses in Evansville.
He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He helped establish and build the Methodist Temple and was a past president of the Downtown Optimist Club and founding member of Rolling Hills Country Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Selle of Portland, Ore., and Paula Grout of Nashville, Tenn.; a son, Larry of Evansville; seven grandchildren, David and Andrew Selle, Elizabeth, Jennifer and Chad Grout and Marisa and Justin Miller; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel.

Melvin Emge
Melvin Raymond Emge, 59, of Evansville, died Wednesday morning at Deaconess Hospital of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He had worked at DSM Engineering for 30 years.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and an Air Force veteran.
Surviving are his mother, Gertrude Emge of Evansville; five sisters, Sister Judith Emge of Belcourt, N.D., and Mary Pat Smead, Sue Berry, Kate Wittgen and Barbara Rexing, all of Evansville; three brothers, Richard of South Bend, Ind., Walter of Riverdale, N.Y., and David of Manhattan, N.Y.; and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are pending at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel.

'Annie' Anderson
Lois R.M. 'Annie' Anderson, 37, formerly of Evansville, died in Indianapolis. Her death is being investigated by Indianapolis authorities. She was a Harrison High School graduate and a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Alexandria; her father, Lois Edward Anderson; a sister, Roberta Anderson Staten; and two brothers, Robert Lewis Anderson of Memphis, Tenn., and George S. Anderson of Evansville.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nazarene Baptist Church, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Wake services will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Mason Bros. Memorial Chapel.
Barbara Triplett
Barbara L. (Calcaterra) Triplett, 69, of Newburgh, died Tuesday afternoon at home.
Surviving are her husband, Robert; four daughters, Jennifer Ferguson and Julie Smith, both of Evansville, Sandra McDonald of Jerseyville, Ill., and Susan Triplett of La Canada, Calif.; and two sisters, Jo Anne Chapman of San Pablo, Calif., and Margaret Calcaterra of Houston.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, the Rev. Daniel Rasmussen officiating, with graveside services at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Oakwood Cemetery in Carterville, Ill.

Randy Taylor
Randy Taylor, 51, formerly of Evansville, died Wednesday morning at his home in Florence, Ala., of natural causes.
He was a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran, a Baptist and a member of the Reitz High School class of 1964.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; three daughters, Robin Taylor of Alabama, Candy Taylor of Kingsport, Tenn., and April Taylor, at home; a son, Randy Jr. of Florence; his father, Merrill Taylor of Evansville; a brother, Terry of Evansville; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Greenview Memorial Chapel in Florence, Ala., with burial in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence.

John Bruce
John William Bruce, 81, of Evansville, died Wednesday morning at Welborn Baptist Hospital.
He retired in 1978 after 20 years at Evansville Waterworks.
Surviving are four daughters, Elizabeth Temme, Rebecca Wortz, Linda May and Donna Dennison, all of Evansville; four sons, Vernon, John Wilford, Michael and Alan, all of Evansville; a sister, Edna Hudnall of Evansville; four brothers, James, Louis and Leonard, all of Evansville, and Cecil of Indianapolis; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
His wife, Mary, died in 1991.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, the Rev. Eugene Main officiating, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
