'Gary' Conner
CHANDLER, Ind. - William 'Gary' Conner, 57, died Thursday morning at St. Mary's Medical Center of natural causes. He retired after 30 years
at Ameritech. He was an Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Patsy (Tieman); three daughters, Deborah Stewart and Denise Conner, both of Virginia Beach, Va., and Deidra Conner of Newburgh; his father and stepmother, William F. and Eileen Conner of Chandler; two sisters, Barbara Jeffries of Newburgh and Faith Green of Boonville; three brothers, Norman Eugene of Newburgh and Ric and Michael, both of Evansville; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Fellowship.
Geneva Juncker
MOUNT VERNON, Ind. - Geneva W. Juncker, 78, died Wednesday afternoon at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was a member of Im
manuel United Church of Christ.
Surviving are a daughter, Elaine McGilvray of Martinsville; two sons, Thomas A. of Mount Vernon and Alan K. of Evansville; a sister, Viola Benthall of Mount Vernon; a brother, Lester Pfeiffer of Mount Vernon; and four grandchildren, Laura and Jennifer McGilvray and Arnie and Nicolette Juncker.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Norvell Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the church.
'Gene' Norrington
NEW HARMONY, Ind. - Floyd Eugene Norrington, 77, died Wednesday morning at New Harmonie Healthcare Center.
He was a coal miner and retired in 1982 after 27 years as a ranger at Camp Pahoka.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Bethesda General Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Brenda J. Thompson of New Harmony; a son, D. Scott of Brandon, Fla.; a sister, Ulah Walder of Oakland City; four grandchildren, D. Scott Jr., Troy and Jason Norrington and Kevin Thompson; and four great-grandchildren.
His wife, Mary, died in 1995.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Norvell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, with burial in Beech Grove Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ralph Coleman
VINCENNES, Ind. - Ralph L. Coleman, 74, died Wednesday at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He worked 30 years at Lynn Tire Co. and from 1975-1986 for the Vincennes Community School Corp.
He was a member of Franklin Heights Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Lillian (Reeves); a daughter, Janet Daugherity of Vincennes; a son, Ralph Jr. of Vincennes; a brother, Alpha Jr. of Brownsburg; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with burial in Vincennes Memorial Park Cemetery.

Elsie Fine
PETERSBURG, Ind. - Elsie M. Fine, 83, died Thursday afternoon at Amber Manor Nursing Home.
Surviving are a sister, Alice Cavally of California; and a brother, Frank Bilderback of Griffin.
Her husband, Adren A., died in 1983.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Harris Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Hills Cemetery.

Rosalie Sims
LOOGOOTEE, Ind. - Rosalie A. Sims, 57, died of natural causes Wednesday morning at Daviess County Hospital in Washington.
She was a registered nurse and a Mary Kay cosmetic consultant.
She was a member of Loogootee United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Charles; a daughter, Jodi Webb of Indianapolis; a son, Brian of Indianapolis; a sister, Janet Gray of Otwell; and a granddaughter, Katelin Webb.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Titzer Funeral Home, with burial in Public Cemetery in Iva, near Otwell.

Norma Uhl
Norma L. Uhl, 78, of Evansville, died Sunday night at Deaconess Hospital.
She was in the Army Nursing Corps during World War II.
She was a member of Osage (Iowa) Eastern Star.
Surviving are three daughters, Catherine Uhl Mills of Asheville, N.C., Mary Uhl Andrews of Poland, Ind., and Martha Uhl Morrison of Evansville; a son, William C. of St. Louis; a sister, Dorothy Twitchell of Aberdeen, S.D.; and four grandchildren.
Her husband, William F., died in 1995.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the Deaconess Hospital chapel, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
There will be no visitation at Simpson Funeral Home Meyer Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Deaconess/Ohio Valley Hospice or to Deaconess Hospital progressive care unit.
James Otte
James C. Otte, 68, of Evansville, died Monday morning at St. Mary's Medical Center.
He retired in 1989 from Terex Corp. in Chattanooga,
Tenn. He also worked for Servel and Bucyrus-Erie in Evansville. In 1982 he moved with Bucyrus-Erie to Erie, Pa..
He was a member of the Bucyrus-Erie 25 Year Club and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for 52 years, before moving to Erie.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Marianne Ritter of Evansville and Kathelyn Eckert of Princeton, Ind.; three brothers, Robert of Evansville, Eugene of Manchester, Mo., and Charles of Hummelstown, Pa.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Church, the Rev. Ted Tempel officiating, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, and from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at the church.

Erinne Ray
Erinne Christine Ray, 7 year-old daughter of Becky and Robert Ray of Evansville, died Sunday morning at Welborn Hospital, from injuries sustained after she was hit by a car.
She was in the first grade at St. Agnes Catholic School and was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. She was a member of the St. Agnes Brownie Troop, and she enjoyed bowling, reading and riding her bicycle.
Also surviving are a sister, Heather Ray of Newburgh; a brother, Rian Ray of Evansville; and grandparents, Arella Ray, and Mary Lee and Joe Reis.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, continuing at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, the Rev. Raymond L. Kuper officiating, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where a memorial service will be at 7 p.m. today.
William Blackburn
William B. Blackburn, 79, formerly of Evansville, died Saturday in San Diego, where he lived.
He worked for International Harvester in Evansville, and retired from International Harvester in Chicago. He had worked in the Evansville Shipyards during World War II. He graduated from Bosse High School.
Surviving are a son, Michael of Newhall, Calif.; a brother, Charles E. of Evansville; and two grandchildren, Jennifer and Daniel.
Burial arrangements in Evansville are pending.
Telophase Cremation Society in San Marcos, Calif., handled the arrangements.
William Braun
William C. Braun, 69, of Evansville, died Monday morning at Deaconess Hospital.
He retired from Chrysler Corp., and was a member of Holy Trinity Pro Cathedral and St. Anthony Catholic Church.
He was an Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1114.
Surviving are a sister, Beverly Shaefer of San Diego; caregivers, Debbie and Mark Werner of Evansville; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, continuing at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, the Rev. John Davidson officiating, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where a memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Porter Travis
Porter Samuel Travis, 64, of Evansville, died Monday morning at Welborn Baptist Hospital.
He formerly owned Porters McCutchanville Key Market for nine years. He also owned Home Grown Tomatoes.
He was a Korean War Navy veteran and was a member of the National Guard.
Surviving are a son, Porter Samuel II of Evansville; and a brother, Elmer of Clarksville, Md.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Browning Funeral Home, the Rev. Stephen Lintzenich officiating, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

James Girten
James W. Girten, 74, of Evansville, died Monday morning at his home.
He retired from plant operations at Welborn Baptist Hospital after
18 years. He formerly worked for R.O. Williams Pest Control.
He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and was a life member of Funkhouser American Legion Post 8 and 40&8.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1114, Riverbend Association, Darmstadt Retirees, and Moose. He was a delegate to the Council of Clubs and a past commander of the American Legion and 8th District commander of the Indiana American Legion.
He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, and he and his wife were senior volunteers at the Bayonet Point, Fla., Regional Medical Center.
Surviving are his wife, Verna L.; three daughters, Patricia Ann Davenport, Susan Marie Krack and Anita Louise Nellis, all of Evansville; two sons, Richard James of Richland, Ind., and Michael Wayne of Wadesville, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a foster great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, continuing at St. Agnes Church at 2 p.m., the Rev. Raymond Kuper officiating, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park, where Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military rites.
