Lorene Casper
Lorene Casper, 82, of Evansville, died Wednesday morning at Good Samaritan Home.
She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mary Alice Bitter, Margaret Ann Ploch and Patricia Eileen Casper, all of Evansville, and Lois Jean Hauke of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sons, James Michael of Aurora, Ind., and Daniel Wayne of Evansville; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Louis, died in 1975.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, continuing at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony Church, the Rev. Jay Davidson and the church pastoral team officiating, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Home.
Mary Schmidt
Mary Jeanette Schmidt, 69, of Newburgh, died Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Eagles.
Surviving are two daughters, Cathy Gustafson of Houston and Beth Greer of Newburgh; a son, Eric of Evansville; three sisters, Betty Haire, Marion Niemeier and Margie Dick, all of Evansville; three brothers, James Snyder of Newburgh, David Snyder of Evansville and Ralph Snyder of Boonville, Ind.; three grandchildren, Michael Moore, Darren Gustafson and Saxton Schmidt; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Edwin, died in 1989.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana.
Brothers George Wolf and Joseph Wolf
George E. Wolf, 85, and Joseph F. Wolf, 83, both of Evansville, died Wednesday at Deaconess Hospital.
They were co-owners and partners in Wolf Brothers Greenhouse with their brother Henry, who died in 1982. George also retired after 20 years at Stippler Tools and Supply.
Both were members of St. Theresa Catholic Church. George was a veteran.
Surviving are a sister, Clara Herr of Evansville; nephews who cared for them, Henry J. and Stephen A. Wolf, both of Evansville; and other nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Browning Funeral Home, continuing at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, the church pastoral team officiating, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to 7 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home, where memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Cecil Lichtenberger
Cecil Lichtenberger, 81, died Friday in Portland, Ore.
He worked for a railroad and Lewis Electric Co.
He was a deacon at Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Portland.
Surviving are his wife, Edna; two daughters, Sandra Bross and Cecilia Hepburn; five sisters, Evelyn Creek and Roberta Lewis, both of Portland, Ruth Glenn of Boulder City, Nev., and Wilma Wilson and Lois Smith, both of Princeton, Ind.; two brothers, Bob of Ruskin, Fla., and Chester of Oak Grove, La.; and four grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday at Finley's Mortuary in Portland.
Robert Bridges
Robert Allen Bridges, 49, of Cedar Hill, Texas, formerly of Evansville, died Sunday at home of natural causes.
He was a manager at the Social Security office in Dallas.
He was a Vietnam War Army veteran and a member of Southern Hills Church of Christ in Dallas.
Surviving are a daughter, Valerie Irving of Atlanta; three sons, Ranando Cooksey of Evansville and Robert A. Jr. and Travis Gerald Bridges, both of Cedar Hill; his father, Samuel Bridges of Evansville; three sisters, Joan Reed, Kim Bridges and Barbara Bridges, all of Evansville; three stepsisters, Darla Farris and Cindy Gaines, both of Evansville, and Juna Farris, of Terre Haute, Ind.; five brothers, Samuel Rasheed of East Palo Alto, Calif., and James and John Bridges, both of Oakland, Calif., Rodney Bridges of Evansville and Samuel Perkins of Holland; a stepbrother, Robert Farris of Henderson, Ky.; two grandchildren, Ranando Jr. and Cierra Cooksey; and nieces and nephews.
His wife, Dorothy Jean, died in 1992.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Southern Hills Church in Dallas, with burial in Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas.
Friends may call from noon to 9:15 p.m. Friday at Cedar Crest Place Funeral Home in Dallas, where wake services will begin at 8:15 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
Mildred Dunlap
Mildred J. Dunlap, 61, mother of Ronald Benjamin of Evansville, died Tuesday in Beverly Hills, Fla.
She was a secretary and a member of the Bell Telephone Co. Pioneer Club.
Also surviving are her mother, Verba Barger of Dunnellon, Fla.; a sister, Mary A. Adams of Dunnellon; a brother, Daniel Barger of Dunnellon; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
There will be no services or visitation. Fero Funeral Home in Beverly Hills is handling arrangements.
Ruth King
Ruth (Faulk) King, 87, died Tuesday morning at McCurdy Healthcare Center.
She retired from Clayton's Dry Cleaning and was a member of Alexander AME Church.
Surviving are a niece, Estella Baker of Cairo, Ga.; and a nephew, Olen Faulk of Richland, Ga.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at W.G. Gaines Funeral Home, the Rev. James E. Bacon officiating, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Dr. Robert deBaca
VINCENNES, Ind. - Dr. Robert C. deBaca, 67, formerly of Vincennes, died Saturday at his home in Huxley, Iowa.
He was an animal scientist and a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, American Society of Animal Science and Beef Improvement Federation.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Mary (Marchino); two daughters, Dr. Monica deBaca of Berlin, Germany, and Suzanna deBaca of New York City; a son, Louis of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Oma Gallegos of Santa Fe, N.M., and Celina Strand of Las Vegas, N.M.; and two brothers, Luis C. of Newkirk, N.M., and Carlos C. of Santa Fe, N.M.
Services were Tuesday in Ames, Iowa, with burial in Story Memorial Gardens.
Beatrice Hemenway
JASPER, Ind. - Beatrice Y. Hemenway, 82, died Tuesday afternoon at Huntingburg Convalescent Center.
She was a member of Ayshire Valley Baptist Church in Winslow and Sun Ridge Baptist Church in Sebring, Fla.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Heichelbech of Jasper; a son, Larry Batch of Redlands, Calif.; three sisters, Opal Cook of Bloomingdale, Delma Laswell of Oakland City and Reba Deffendol of Winslow; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Freeman Batch and James Hemenway.
Services will be at 1 p.m. EST Friday at Becher and Kluesner Downtown Chapel, with burial in Augusta Cemetery.

Oland infants
BOONVILLE, Ind. - Jacob Wilder and Austin Lee Oland, twin infant sons of Jason Lee and Lisa (Wilder) Oland, were stillborn Monday at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.
Also surviving are grandparents, Richard and Lindy (Hosler) Wilder of Boonville and Jerry and Sherry (Payne) Oland of Lafayette; and great-grandmothers.
There will be no services or visitation.
Anna Rainey
MOUNT VERNON, Ind. - Anna V. Rainey, 82, died Wednesday afternoon at Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a punch operator at Faultless Caster and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are her husband, Leroy; three daughters, Linda McDaniel and Tammy Rush, both of Mount Vernon, and JoAnn Hunter of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, James of Mount Vernon and Daniel of Greencastle; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Boone Funeral Home Mount Vernon Chapel, with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery.

Louise McClanahan
She retired in 1977 as manager of the
cafeteria at Harrison High School. She formerly managed cafeterias at Hebron and Plaza schools.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and a past member of the Indiana School Corp. Food Service.
Surviving are a son, Jack of Evansville; a sister, Erma Roundtree of Indianapolis; a brother, Donald Ray Hadley of Winterhaven, Fla.; four grandchildren, Randy and Lee McClanahan, Debbie Rothert and Becky Kleeman; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, in 1960 and her daughter, Sandy Hughes, in 1993.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Posey Gaines officiating, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park mausoleum.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Dalyce Barrett
Dalyce Barrett, 95, of Evansville, died Friday morning at Newburgh Health Care Center.
Surviving are three grandchildren, Gail Lennartz and William and Kent Brooks; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Charlotte Williams
Charlotte E. Williams, 69, of Evansville, died Friday morning at Deaconess Hospital.
Surviving are her husband, Joe C.; two daughters, Lana Barnett of Lakeland, Fla., and Karla Jones of Chandler, Ind.; four sons, Terry of Elkton, Ky., and Michael, Glenn and David, all of Evansville; a sister, Loyce Omer of St. Philip, Ind.; a brother, William Utley Jr. of Gainesville, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, the Rev. Larry Spicer officiating, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Ethel Taylor
Ethel Lee Taylor, 87, of Evansville, died Thursday morning at Welborn Baptist Hospital of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, the Maryknoll Order and Altar Society.
Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Mulligan of Owensboro, Ky.; a son, William J. Sr. of Evansville; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, in 1968 and a daughter, Betty Lee Holland, in 1979.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, continuing at 10 a.m. at St. Benedict Church, the Rev. Gregory Chamberlin officiating, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where memorial services will be at 7 p.m.
