Donald J. 'Joe' Jones
PERU -- Services for Donald J. "Joe" Jones, 55, of 74 Airport Road, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.
He died at 7:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, in Howard Community Hospital, Kokomo.
Born June 18, 1944, in Peru, he was the son of Ottoway and Cleyla Garner Jones. On Dec. 22, 1963, he was married to Bonnie K. Frantz, who survives.
Mr. Jones was a job setter at the Chrysler Transmission Plant in Kokomo. He was a member of UAW Union 685.
He was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended Anoka United Methodist Church in Cass County.
Also surviving are his mother, of Peru; one daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Keith Cromwell, St. Augustine, Fla.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher and Vicki Jones, Columbia City, and David and Shirley Jones, Taylor Mill, Ky.; and four grandchildren, Brandon, Aliceson and Cal Jones, and Keelie Cromwell.
The Rev. Jim Abbott will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery, Cass County.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, to Wishard Hospital and to Anoka United Methodist Church.
Betty J. Brough
PERU -- Services for Betty J. Brough, 77, of 401 Hoover Ave., will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.
She died at 2:35 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, in Dukes Memorial Hospital.
Chaplain Steve Fleck will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Mary Catherine Darland Ray
INDIANAPOLIS -- Services for Mary Catherine Darland Ray, 73, of Indianapolis, formerly of Cass County, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in G.H. Herrmann Funeral Home.
She died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, in Bethany Village of Indianapolis.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis.
Dollie M. Ranz
ROCHESTER -- Graveside services for Dollie M. Ranz, 87, of 491 W. State Road 14, will be held at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday at Rochester Citizens Cemetery.
She died at 2:03 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, in Woodlawn Hospital.
The Rev. Michael Wilkins will officiate at the services.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday in Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home.
Mary Ellen Deane
Services for Mary Ellen Deane, 81, of Miller's Merry Manor, Peru, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel.
She died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, in the nursing home.
There is no visitation.

Ruth L. Klumpp
Ruth L. Klumpp, 89, of 801 W. Columbia St., Flora, formerly of Route 1, Camden, died Sunday in Brethren Health Care Center in Flora.
Arrangements are pending at McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home.
Clarence E. ‘Bub’ Beckley
Services for Clarence E. "Bub" Beckley, 57, of 123 E. North St., Royal Center, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 10:07 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, in the emergency room of Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Sept. 24, 1942, in Logansport, he was the son of Ralph H. and Katherine A. Kistler Beckley. In May 1965 he was married to Beverly Fitz, who died May 6, 1985.
Mr. Beckley retired in 1997 from Logansport State Hospital as a maintenance man. Prior to that, Clarence owned and operated a lawn maintenance business.
He served in the Indiana National Guard and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3790 in Logansport.
A member of the Four Seasons Square Dance Club of Monticello and the Bridge City Squares of Logansport, he was an avid farm toy collector and outdoorsman.
Surviving are his companion, Nancy Wert, Idaville; one daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Ralph Houk, Logansport; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Melissa Beckley, Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Jane Pullen, Cutler, and Carolyn Spear, Port Charlotte, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Brittany and Joshua Houk and Dustin and Sarah Beckley.
The Rev. Dick Byers will officiate at the services. Burial, with military rites, will be in Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Cancer Society.
Revia Fisher
WINAMAC -- Services for Revia Fisher, 85, of 515 E. 13th St., will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Frain Mortuary.
She died at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, in ExtendaCare of Winamac following several years of failing health.
Born May 13, 1914, in Salyersville, Ky., she was the daughter of Adam and Margarett Arnett. On Jan. 19, 1931, in Kentucky, she was married to Ottis Bailey, who died Dec. 19, 1954. She was married July 7, 1961, in Royal Center, to John Fisher, who died April 20, 1980.
Mrs. Fisher was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winamac. She lived most of her life in the rural Logansport area and was an avid flower gardener.
Surviving are two daughters, Frances Miller, Macy, and Versie Miller, Logansport; three sons, Jason Bailey, Demotte, Claude Bailey, Logansport, and Ottis Junior Bailey, Lafayette; two stepdaughters, Ponda Bray, Dunlap, Calif., and Audi Sue Fox, Rochester; one brother, Robert Arnett, Salyersville, Ky.; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Lonie Miller, one son, Austin Bailey, one sister, Eula Conley, and two brothers, Russell and Price Arnett, preceded in death.
The Rev. David Lallathin will officiate at the services. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church and the Alzheimer’s Association.

CULVER -- Services for Laura M. Keller, 90, of 6323 Washington St., Monterey, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Monterey.
She died at 5:55 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, in Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac.

He died at 7 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, in his residence.
Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate at the services. Burial will be in IOOF Memory Gardens, Delphi.

Alta F. Ray
BURLINGTON -- Services for Alta F. Ray, 93, of Forest Park Healthcare Center, Kokomo, formerly of Burlington, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Neptune Funeral Home.
She died at 1:25 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, in Forest Park Center.
Born Feb. 25, 1906, in Colburn, she was the daughter of Emerson and Estella Crouse Rex. On Dec. 1, 1925, she married Leon Ray, who died July 6, 1985.
Mrs. Ray was a homemaker and resident of Burlington for over 50 years. She was a member of the Burlington United Methodist Church and the Burlington American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Pauline and Gene Davis, Burlington, and Helen Maroney, Logansport; one son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Beulah Ray, Kokomo; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
One daughter, four brothers, and three sisters preceded in death.
The Rev. David Duke will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery.

Dale H. Furnivall
ROCHESTER -- Services for Dale H. Furnivall, 68, of 728 W. Eighth St., will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Foster & Good Funeral Home.
He died at 10:43 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, in his residence. He had been in failing health.
Born Nov. 12, 1930, in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of Frank and Nina Mathews cq Furnivall. He was married on March 24, 1951, in Rochester, to Elizabeth "Liz" Klingerman, who survives.
He retired in 1996 from Enyart’s Auto Sales and Enyart’s True Value Hardware.
He had lived in Rochester since moving here from Chicago in 1947.
A past president of the Lions Club, he also was a member of the Fraternal Order of Elks No. 2120 and Manitou Moose Lodge No. 1107, all of Rochester. He also served with the National Guard at the Logansport Armory.
Also surviving are one daughter, Susan Furnivall and her friend, Ron Steelman, Rochester; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Ann Furnivall and Michael and Terri Furnivall, all of Rochester; five grandchildren, Ashley, Craig and Corbin Furnivall, Jon Wooten, and Julia Bradley, all of Rochester; two great-grandsons, Matthew and Joshua Wooten, both of Rochester; and four brothers, Donald Furnivall, Rochester, Duane Howard and his wife, Julia, Grants Pass, Ore., David Furnivall and his wife, Linda, Warsaw, and Delon Furnivall and his wife, Terri, Tippecanoe.
The Rev. Rick Taylor will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice or Fulton County Cancer Fund.

DELPHI -- Graveside services for Jean Kramer Gros, 87, of 322 E. Main St., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oddfellows Cemetery.
She died at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.
The Rev. James Rankin and the Rev. William Gros will officiate at the services.

She died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, in her residence.

Mr. Lybrook died at 11:25 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Kingdom of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Logansport.
