Rozetta D. Patterson, 81, of 201 W 600 N, Winamac, IN, passed away at 1:32 PM Friday, June 23, 2006, in Hickory Creek @ Winamac, Winamac, IN.
She was born April 4, 1925 in Nashville, TN to Thomas and Ina May Hay Deal.
She married William B. Patterson on August 22, 1964 in Gary, IN. Rozetta was a cook. She was a former Gary, IN resident.

FRED HENRY PINGLE
Fred Henry Pingle, 82, of 12153 W 275 N, Medaryville, IN, passed away at 10:25 PM Sunday, June 11, 2006 at Our Lady of Holy Cross Care Center in San Pierre, IN.
He was born July 7, 1923, in Medaryville, IN, to Gustof and Clara Junge Pingle.
Fred was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Medaryville, IN. Fred enjoyed collecing Nutcrackers and Santa Clause figurines. He also collected newspaper clippings of events occuring in and around Medaryville.

Services will be held at 11 AM CDT Thursday, June 15, 2006, in St. John's United Church of Christ, Medaryville,IN with Pastor Lynn Rosiejka officiating.
Friends may call from 4-8 PM CDT Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home in Francesville, IN and after 10 AM CDT on Thursday at the church.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or to the Heart Fund.
DONALD J. MARKLEY
Donald J. Markley, 66, of 2791 S 175 E Winamac, IN, passed away at 9:23 AM Sunday, June 11, 2006 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN.
He was born December 11, 1939, in Winamac, IN, to Harris and Naomi Shaw Markley. He married Judy Bitterling on survives.
Don was a lifetime member of the VFW in Logansport, IN. He was a member of the Indiana Blacksmith Association and the Northwest Territory Alliance and served as their blacksmith. Don was a longtime member of the Twin Rivers Muzzleloaders Club in Logansport, IN. Don crafted all of the iron latches and other parts necessary for the Pulaski County Historical Society log cabin project in Winamac. Don was retired from Chryler Corp in Kokomo, IN and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. He was a skliied trades machine repair journeyman. He was the former owner of the Mill Valley Forge blacksmith shop in Winamac, IN. Don enjoyed spending time fishing at his cabin with friends and his grandchildren. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and spending time outdoors camping, hunting and fishing. Don served in a Army National Guard tank Co and in the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic in an air refueling unit. Don was a licensed TV and radio repairman.

Military funeral services will be held at 11 AM CDT -12 Noon EDT Saturday, June 17, 2006, in Frain Mortuary, Winamac, IN.
Friends may call from 9 AM CDT - 10 AM EDT until the hour of services on Saturday at Frain Mortuary.
Burial will take place in the Mt. Zion-Franklin Twp Cemetery in Winamac, IN.
Memorial contributions may be given the the Pulaski County Family YMCA.
ANN E. PRANGE
Ann E. Prange, 75, of 1157 S SR 119, Winamac, IN, passed away at 7:25 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN.
She was born October 4, 1930, in Fort Wayne,IN, to Hubert and LaVerne Connell Bollhauve. She married Russell “Rusty” Prange on 06/13/1953 in Winamac, IN. Russell survives.
Ann was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winamac, IN. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and sang in the church choir. Ann was a member of the Bunco Club. She was former beautician and had worked as a secretary for Farm Bureau Insurance in Winamac. She had also worked in Shank's Ladies Store in Winamac at Buckeye Feeds in Monterey, IN and at Sander's IGA in Winamac. Ann enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing picture puzzles, and playing games. Ann lived most of her life in Winamac.

SOPHIE D. SZWET
Sophie D. Szwet, 82, of 2409 W 500 N, Winamac, IN, formerly of Dyer, IN, passed away at 12:15 AM Monday, June 5, 2006 at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac, IN.
She was born May 1, 1924, in Chicago, IL, to Thomas and Sophie Opyt. She married Karol Szwet on May 25, 1946 in Chicago, IL. He survives. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anviversary.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Winamac. She was also a member of the PLAV Post # 39 Auxillary, Harvey, IL.
She was a former of resident of Dyer, IN.
She enjoyed gardening and being a homemaker.

ROBERT H. PFLEDDERER
Robert H. Pfledderer, 85, of 420 S. Bill St., Francesville, IN, passed away at 1:51 AM Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Porter Valparaiso Hospital Campus in Valparaiso, IN.
He was born May 5, 1921, in Francesville, IN, to George and Marie Remm Pfledderer. He married Norma Kahler June 26, 1948, in Francesville, IN. She survives.
He was a farmer and a brick mason.
He was a Sgt. in the US Army during WWII. He was awarded the Bronze Star by General Patton. He was a member of the Francesville American Legion.
He was a member of the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church.
He was a former member of the Francesville Town Board.
He enjoyed helping others through volunteer masonary work on many churches. He found much joy in serving his family.

Services will be held at 9:30AM CDT/ 10:30AM EDT Tuesday, June 6, 2006, in the Apostolic Christian Church, Francesville, with the Ministers of the Church officiating.

Friends may call from 1-8PM CDT/2-9PM EDT Monday, June 5, 2006, in Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home, Francesville, IN, and one hour before the service Tuesday in the church.
The American Legion will conduct Military Graveside Services.

Mr. William Randolph Fitzpatrick Sr.,
Mr. Fitzpatrick was born June 24, 1925 in Francesville, IN.
He was an independent business owner of an LP Gas Co. & water conditioning company and was in property management. He was a WW II Army veteran. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Forty and Eight. Mr. Fitzpatrick was an active member of the BPOE, Knights of Columbus, and the Men’s Club of St. Elizabeth Seton Church.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanette Fairfield Fitzpatrick, on son, William R. (Loredanna) Fitzpatrick Jr., Paradise Valley, AZ, one daughter Sherry English, Lake Geneva, WI, 6 grandchildren, one brother Peter, Ocala, FL, and one sister Margaret Hough, Kouts, IN.
Two brothers proceeded him in death.
Graveside Services will be held at the Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, IN at 11 AM CDT on Wednesday, June 14, 2006. Military Graveside Services will be conducted. Father Paul White will officiate.
Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home in Francesville, IN is in charge of arrangements.
