Mr. Timothy W. "Tim" Turoci, 50, of 14609 West 450 North, Medaryville, IN passed away at 4:10AM on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Methodist Hospital Southlake Campus in Merrillville, IN.
He was born June 28, 1958 in Fayetteville, NC to George and Dell Burton Turoci. Tim married Joann Melvin on August 28, 1998 in Winamac, IN. She survives.
Tim was a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local 1014 at US Steel Gary Works.
Tim enjoyed caring for his animals, and working with his fellow steel workers. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, friend and co-worker.

Services will be held at 2PM EDT Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Medaryville, IN with Pastor Leonard Allen officiating.
Burial will take place at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Medaryville, IN.

DONNA RHEA BROAD

Donna Rhea Broad, 86, of 624 East 13th Street, Winamac, IN, passed away at 4:20 AM Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac, IN.
She was born March 13, 1923, in Streater, IL, to Ovid and Anna Ator Chamberlain. Donna married Kenneth L. Broad on November 29, 1943, in the Central Church of Christ in Streater, IL. Kenneth died on July 18, 2001.
She moved to Pulaski County in 1961, coming from Illinois.
Donna was a graduate of Streater High School in Streater, IL and had attended Illinois Wesleyan University on music scholarship. She was a member of the Kewanna Church of Christ.
Donna had worked as a seamstress at Harris Garment Factory in Winamac. Donna bred and raised purebred Daschund puppies.
Donna enjoyed reading her Bible daily, sewing, gardening, and was an avid reader. She gave private music lessons for several years. She was an accomplished musician who played violin, cornet, piano and organ.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM EDT Monday, March 30, 2009, in Frain Mortuary, Winamac, IN. with PAstor Jeff Strite officiating. Burial will take place in the McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery located at Winamac, IN.
Friends may call 4-8 PM EDT Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Frain Mortuary.

JOSEPH THOMAS BUCINSKI

Joseph Thomas Bucinski, 55, of 5293 E. 250 S., Kewanna, IN, passed away at 5:17 PM Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN.
He was born October 27, 1953, in Rochester, IN, to Leo and Virginia Hanson Bucinski. Joe married Debbie Alliss on July 16, 1977 in Highland, IN.
He was a lifelong resident of Kewanna. Joe graduated from Winamac High School in 1971 and from the Purdue Winter Ag short course in 1977. He took wiring and hydraulic classes and completed Welding I and II at Ivy Tech Community College.Joe was certified to work on automotive air conditioners. Joe was a private pilot and a member of the Mentone Flying Club of Rochester, IN. He was a member of the Rochester Moose Club and the Winamac Knights of Columbus, 1561. He was a 4th degree Knight of the Rensselaer Council. Joe was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Winamac, IN. He was an avid farmer and had quite a collection of Corvettes. Joe enjoyed working on anything that would fit in his shop. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Joe and Deb enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and taking cruises. Much to the chagrin of his family, Joe was a Jeff Gordon fan.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM EDT Friday, March 27, 2009, in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Winamac, IN with Rev. Martin Sandhage officiating.
Burial will take place in the St. Peter's Cemetery, Winamac, IN.
Friends may call from 3-8 PM EDT Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Frain Mortuary, Winamac, IN.
A Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 3:30 PM EDT and a Rosary Service will be held at 7:30 PM EDT on Thursday at the funeral home.

Kelley M. Camblin
Memorial services for Kelley M. Camblin, 49, formerly of Logansport, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Kroeger Funeral Home.
He passed away after a long illness, on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, in Patriot Ridge Hospital in Fairborn, Ohio.
Kelley’s family lived in Logansport for many generations.
Surviving are aunt, Donna Morris Biddinger, Quiogue, N.Y.; and several nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jane Ellen and Richard Camblin; and brothers, Robert Camblin and Scott Camblin.
The Rev. Doug Mankell will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Evelyn V. Freel
WINAMAC - Services for Evelyn V. Freel, 94, Culver, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Frain Mortuary.
She died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver.
Born Nov. 22, 1914, in Lawton, she was the daughter of John and Nellie Tanton Smith. She was married Nov. 28, 1934, in Kewanna, to Charles E. Freel, who preceded in death Dec. 15, 1998.
Evelyn was a lifetime resident of Pulaski County. She graduated from Monterey High School in 1933. Evelyn lived most of her married life in Monterey. She moved to Winamac in 1992. She spent her life being a homemaker and a loving mother. Evelyn loved growing vegetable gardens and having her own fresh berry patches, which she continued to grow into her 90s. She enjoyed sewing and was an excellent cook and baker.
Surviving are children, Daisy (Richard Gene) Siler, Walker, Pauline (Raymond) Hausz, Ninevah, Patsy (Charles) Hardin, St. Cloud, Fla., Betty (Von) Powell, Louisville, Ky., and Charles W. “Bill” (Barbara) Freel, Portland; sister, Margaret Jelsema, Allendale, Mich.; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother-in-law, Marvin Freel.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Moose, Mabel Lolmaugh and Daisy Lidgard; one brother, Roy Smith; and her parents.
The Rev. Glen Meyers will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lake Bruce.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
Bruce Colley
Bruce Colley, 65, passed away peacefully at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009, at his residence in Lake Bruce.
A celebration of Bruce’s life will begin at 1 p.m. May 2 at Retro Bistro Restaurant, 1746 W. Golf Rd., Mount Prospect, Ill. A celebration of his life will also be held at a later date for his lake family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bruce Colley may be given to Hope Hospice, 420 Main St., PO Box 621, Rochester IN 46975.
Cremation is being handled by Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Kewanna Chapel.
Leslie Russell Meyers
MUNSTER - A memorial service for Les Meyers, 98, St. John, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Munster.
He passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009, in his winter home in Bradenton, Fla.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Meyers (nee Collins); loving father of three daughters, Cathy McClain, Montrose, Colo., Beverly Messer, Austin, Texas, and Carol (Terry) Moore, O’Fallon, Mo.; four sons, Les (Jan), Phoenix, Dennis (Barbara), St John, Larry (Jill), St. John, and Rich (Patty), Munster; 22 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Former owner and chairman emeritus of Hammond Insurance Agency, Les began his insurance career in 1940 and built the family business before his retirement in 1979. The agency remains a family business.
All friends and family are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be given to TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34238.

Susan Lynn Odom
Services for Susan Lynn Odom, 57, Logansport will be 11 a.m., Tuesday in Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.
She passed away at 2:17 a.m., Friday, May 8, 2009, in St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo.
Born on April 15, 1952, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Robert D. and Dorothy C. (Rivers) Harvey. On Jan. 14, 1978, she married Michael J. Odom, who preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2001.
Susan attended Logansport High School. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary No. 3790. She was an Elvis and avid Cubs and Bears fan.
She was employed at Carlisle Industrial Brake and Friction, Logansport for over 35 years.
Survivors include sons, Michael J. Delp, Logansport, William “Jack” Delp and wife Brenda, Logansport, and Michael R. Odom and wife Denise, Lafayette; daughter, Susan L. McDole and husband Mark, Darlington; brothers, Brian E. Harvey and Brad L. Harvey; and sister, Cynthia E. Harvey, all of Logansport; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael D. Harvey.
Burial will be in Ever Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral chapel, where there will also be a V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary service at 5:30 p.m.
