Ida M. Ulery
Services for Ida M. Ulery, 53, Logansport, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Marocco Funeral Chapel.
Ida passed away at 5:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009, in Chase Center, Logansport.
She was born May 25, 1956, in Logansport, to the late Basil Ulery and Anna Howard.
Ida was a former housekeeper for Rehab Health Care Center in Elkhart.
Survivors include companion, Jesse Robinson, Logansport; daughter, Tina Ulery, Logansport; brothers, Harvey Ulery, Elkhart, and Dale McGraw and wife Michelle, Peru; sisters, Frances Dossey, Sheila Kyle and husband Dallas, Collette Shaffer, and Deanna Kyle and husband Michael, all of Elkhart, and Ellen Snay and husband Patrick, Logansport; and stepmother, Betty Ulery, Elkhart.
The Rev. Dr. Mary Schertz will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
Friends may call one hour before the service Friday at the funeral chapel.
Myrtle Lillie Overmyer Packard McKeever
Services for Myrtle Lillie Overmyer Packard McKeever, 89, Kokomo, formerly of Logansport and Camden, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
She passed away at 11:08 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, in Windsor Estates, Kokomo.
Born April 10, 1920, in Cass County, she was the daughter of John W. and Elizabeth J. Miller Overmyer. She was married to Donald Bryant Packard, who preceded her in death July 6, 1972. She was married to Donald H. McKeever, who preceded her in death Aug. 7, 1985.
In 1977, Myrtle retired from General Tire, where she had worked for many years as a quality control inspector.
She was a member of Flora United Methodist Church. An avid reader, she also enjoyed oil painting and crocheting. Her family was very important to her, and in her later years, she learned to use the computer and enjoyed sending e-mails and cards to her family.
She is survived by three sons, Rodney B. Packard and his wife, Thelma, Kokomo, Tom G. Packard, Deer Creek, and Darol D. Packard and his wife, Denise, Camden; two daughters, Patricia Cook and her husband, Robert, Tipton, and Juanita R. Wallace, Delaware, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Judy McKeever Polley and her husband, Larry, Lafayette, and Karen McKeever Fiedler and her husband, Chuck, Crawfordsville; two brothers, John A. Overmyer, Logansport, and Benjamin Overmyer, Texas; one sister, Normagene N. Overmyer Mitchum, Florida; 12 grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 24 stepgreat-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and nine stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, five sisters, one grandson, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Pastor James Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Camden Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour before services Friday at the funeral chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Southern Care Hospice.
Connie Kay McKee
A memorial service for Connie Kay McKee, 65, Logansport, will be at 6 p.m. Friday in Trinity Episcopal Church in Logansport.
She died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born Sept. 14, 1943, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Donald and Leila Sweet Kleckner. Connie had been married to Harold McKee from 1961 until 1996, and he preceded her in death in 2007.
Connie was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She graduated from Logansport High School in 1961, and was the former secretary at Daniel Webster School, and owner of A Stitch in Time. She retired in 2007 from Wachovia Bank as a teller, in Melbourne, Fla. She lived in Melbourne for the past 10 years and had moved back to Logansport in January 2008.
Connie was an animal lover of any kind. She loved to cross-stitch, read, entertain and be with her family. Connie had a big heart for giving.
Surviving are daughter, Brandi (Matt) Mullin, Logansport; son, Brook McKee, Logansport; sister, Donna Weida and her partner, Joe Fettig, Logansport; grandchildren, Bo and Blake Brown, Logansport, and Tia McKee, Melbourne, Fla.; great-granddaughter, Adi Mussleman, Melbourne, Fla.; nephew, Mark (Cathy) Weida, Nevada; nieces, Traci Weida, Logansport, and Teri Folsom, California; three great-nephews; and one great-niece.
Clark Miller will officiate. Burial will be private.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday at Kroeger Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
Jeanne L. McGuin
A Mass of Christian burial for Jeanne L. McGuin, 88, Logansport, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in All Saints Catholic Church.
She passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born March 6, 1921, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Fred and Mary Klotz Morris. She was married to John M. McGuin, who preceded in death on April 6, 1983.
Jeanne was a 1939 graduate of Logansport High School, where she played on the girls basketball team. She was an active woman who enjoyed bowling and golfing. She was also an avid bridge player. Jeanne had assisted in delivering Meals on Wheels.
Jeanne was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and All Saints Ladies Society.
She served her country during World War II as a Navy WAVE, where she earned the rank of lieutenant.
She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors are daughters, Kathleen (Chuck) Acton, Tampa, Fla., and Maureen (Don) Bobay, Bristol; sons, Michael (Melanie) McGuin, Monticello, Thomas (Michelle) McGuin, Osceola, and Tim (Sharon) McGuin, Huntington; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan John McGuin.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kroeger Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
Burial, with full military honors, will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
Brandon Damien Keller
A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Brandon Damien Keller, 18, Rochester, at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Monterey.
He went to be with God on Monday, June 2, 2008.
Brandon was born May 5, 1990, at South Bend to Tonya Keller and David Breyfogle.
Surviving family includes parents, Tonya Keller and Mario Martinez, Logansport, and David and Heather Breyfogle, Rochester; grandparents, Jerome and Rea Keller, Monterey, and Robert and Doris Breyfogle, Culver; great-grandmother, Marilyn Powlen, Winamac; brothers, Emmanuel and Mario Martinez, Logansport; sister, Eva Martinez, Logansport; uncle, Jeff and Kathy Keller, Monterey; aunts, Amy and Rahul Sarkar, Rochester, and Stephanie and Josh Thomas, Monterey; uncle, Scott Breyfogle, Plymouth; aunts, Katherine Breyfogle, Culver, and Karen and Sal LaDuca, Phillipsburg, N.J.; and cousin, Sarah Keller, Monterey.
Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Clement and Marjorie Keller Sr., and Richard Powlen; and paternal great-grandparents, Harold and Sara Breyfogle, and Robert and Mildred Dooley.
Visitation with the family will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Bonine-Odom Funeral Home, Culver, with a Spiritual Wake service led by Father Bert Woolson at 7:30 p.m. Brandon will be laid to rest in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Monterey.
Memorials may be given to Riley Hospital or Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
Linda M. Almos
Services for Linda M. Almos, 52, Logansport will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Marocco Funeral Chapel.
She went home to be with the Lord at 10:55 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2008, at Parkview Health Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Born Oct. 26, 1955, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of David and Helen O’Brian Manus, who survive.
Linda’s greatest passion was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Michael Almos, Cary, N.C.; three daughters, Sherry Lucas and David Cunningham, Peru, Maria Almos and James Peterson, Logansport, and Tara Leahy, Lafayette; parents, David and Helen Manus, Logansport; one brother, Terry Manus, Logansport; one sister, Patti Waye-Benson and Gary, Cary, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Richard Manus, and one granddaughter, Taylor Lucas.
Pastor Andy Weil will officiate at the service, and burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday and one hour before services Friday at the funeral chapel.

David L. Emmons
Services for David L. Emmons, 54, Logansport, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Fisher Funeral Chapel.
He died at 8 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2008, in St. Vincent Heart Center of Indianapolis.
Born July 3, 1953, in Greenville, Ohio, he was the son of the late John E. Emmons and Juanita Watson Emmons, who survives in Logansport. He was married July 17, 1971, in Logansport, to Janice Piercy, who survives.
A 1971 graduate of Logansport High School, David worked for Logansport Auto Tech Auto Parts in outside sales. He attended Yorktown Road Church of Christ.
David was a NASCAR fan, especially when it came to Jeff Gordon. He enjoyed all sports but baseball was his favorite.
Surviving with his wife and mother are two sons, David Emmons Jr. and Dustin Emmons, both of Logansport; three sisters, Diane and Denny Johnson, LaGrange, Shirley J. and Ron Kuzmaul, Camden, and Sharon and Jerry Widner, Winamac; brother, George Emmons, Logansport; four grandchildren, Veronica Emmons, Louisville, Ky., Brooke and Bailey Weaver, Royal Center, and Jarryd Woodruff, Logansport; his mother-in-law, Donna Grandstaff Piercy, Logansport; sisters-in-law, Susan and John L. Carlson, Port Clinton, Ohio, and Sheila Piercy, Logansport; aunts and uncles, Carolyn Fultz, Mary Jane and Robert Powell, and Tom and Juanita Watson, all of Logansport, Dwight Emmons, Greenville, Ohio, and Mary Jane Wittaker, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Emmons; one son, Travis Wayne Emmons; one brother, John Paul Emmons; and his father-in-law, Estal Wayne Piercy.
The Rev. Rick Woodall will officiate. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery, near Burnettsville.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.
