DELPHI - Services for Grace M. Sherman, 85, Delphi, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Davidson Funeral Home.
She died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in Monticello Assisted Living and Health Care, Monticello.
Pastor Brent Oliver will officiate at the services.

Dorothy I. Whiteman
MONTICELLO - Services for Dorothy I. Whiteman, 73, Monticello, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home.
She died at 11:42 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008, in St. Elizabeth Regional Health Lafayette.
Pastor Keith Raderstorf will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Riverview IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mary L. Marocco
A Mass of Christian burial for Mary L. Marocco, 100, Logansport, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church.
She passed away at 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.
Born March 13, 1908, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Anna Kuntz Petrie.
She was a 1924 graduate of St. Joseph’s Commercial School. She formerly worked for Home Telephone Co. in Logansport. She and her husband, Floyd, were former co-owner’s of Polsinelli’s Tavern. She worked in the kitchen, where spaghetti and meatballs were a specialty. She also formerly co-owned the Palace Tavern.
Mary was a lifetime member of All Saints Catholic Church, All Saints Ladies Society and was honored in 2001 as the first 75-year member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lou Kesling and her husband, Norman; one son, Louis R. Marocco and his wife, Margo; son-in-law, William E. Albright; sisters, Anna M. Petrie and Florence T. Tobias, all of Logansport, and Evelyn J. Dietze and her husband, Herman, Monticello; sister-in-law, Helen L. Petrie, Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren, Lou Ann, Brian and Mark Marocco, Tiphanie Campbell, Ashlee Straub, Marsha Fewell, David Albright, Cynde Barnes, Staci Wedekind, Shelle Liebner, and Beth and Mark Kesling; 28 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. Marocco, on Dec. 12, 1984; two sons, Dewey and John A. Marocco; one daughter, Judith A. Albright; one brother, John F. Petrie; and one sister, Henrietta Laing.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at Marocco Funeral Chapel, where there will be a Scripture service at 6:30 p.m. and a Daughters of Isabella service thereafter.
Father Mike McKinney will officiate the service. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Catholic School and/or the John A. Marocco Scholarship Fund through the Cass County Community Foundation.
Clara M. Felke
ROCHESTER - A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Clara M. Felke, 96, Rochester, at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Plymouth.
She died at 10:37 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008, in Hickory Creek of Rochester.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.

Judith Ann Huse
DELPHI - Services for Judith Ann Huse, 67, Monticello, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Delphi First Assembly of God Church.
She passed away at 2:25 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2008, at Florida Hospital Celebration Health in Celebration, Fla.
Pastor Brent Oliver will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Zion Citizens Cemetery in Bringhurst.

Shirley J. Adams
AKRON - Services for Shirley J. Adams, 67, Burkett, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hartzler Funeral Home in Akron.
She died at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at her residence.

James C. Rouch
A celebration of life will be held at a later date for James C. Rouch, 49, Royal Center.
He passed away at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2008, at his parent’s residence in Royal Center.
Born Oct. 2, 1958, in Winamac, he was the youngest son of Estel E. and Janet W. Rouch. He was married Jan. 24, 1981, to Rita M. Seger.
He graduated from Culver Military Academy and majored in Fine Arts at Indiana University in Bloomington.
He farmed until his illness, and he was an artist and talented musician. His greatest enjoyment was composing and recording original music in the studio in his barn.
He is survived by his companion, Rita Seger; his parents; and his three brothers and their families, Tim and Jenny Rouch, Manassas, Va., and Terry and Vicky Rouch, Steve and Marcia Rouch, and Murry Rouch, all of Royal Center; nieces and nephews, Margie and Jimmy Wu, Hanover, N.H., Ben and Angela Rouch, Bloomington, Joshua Rouch, Royal Center, Megan Rouch, Manassas, Va., Errett and Dayna Rouch and sons, Silas and Liam, Indianapolis, Frank Rouch, Chicago, Stephen and Sara Rouch, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Emily Rouch, Astoria, N.Y.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association, Indiana Chapter, 6525 E. 82nd St., Ste. 115, Indianapolis IN 46250.

She died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at her residence.

Jonas Palm
INDIANAPOLIS - Funeral services were held on July 20 for Jonas Palm, 97, Indianapolis, at Harry Moore Family Mortuary in Indianapolis.
He died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, in Indianapolis. He was born June 6, 1910, in LaPorte.
He was the owner of Palm’s Beauty Salon and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Jonas was the beloved husband of Elaine Palm, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Nancy Klein, Naples Fla.; a stepdaughter, Kathy Barrett and her husband, Bob, Logansport; three grandchildren, Shelly Cummings, Chicago, and Erin Dixon, and Erica Buba, both of Indianapolis; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial was held in LaPorte.
Raymond H. Alderson Jr.
Services for Raymond H. Alderson Jr., 80, Logansport, will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Marocco Funeral Chapel.
He died at 10:35 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born May 30, 1927, he was the son of the late Raymond H. and Irene Romig Alderson.
Mr. Alderson was a Logansport High School graduate, and retired from the Logansport Community School Corporation. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.
He enjoyed painting sun catchers, working with crafts and the company of his dog “Brandy.”
Surviving are three sons, Jeff Foreman, Twelve Mile, Brad Foreman, Logansport, and Matt Foreman, Fort Wayne.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret L. “Peg” Alderson, who died Feb. 24, 1999.
Pastor A. Art Maloney will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at a later date.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Veronica L. Bikey Parsons
PERU - A memorial Mass for Veronica L. Bikey Parsons, 78, Peru, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Charles Catholic Church.
She died at 1:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, in her residence.
The Rev. Frank I. Kilcline III will officiate at the services.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home in Peru, where a prayer service will be held at 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross and to the Wabash-Miami Home Care and Hospice.
Ryan M. Holmes
PERU - Services for Ryan M. Holmes, 34, Fishers, formerly of Peru, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Luke United Methodist Church in Indianapolis. Graveside services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Charles Cemetery in Peru.
He died at 10:51 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, in Evanston Hospital, Evanston, Ill.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church in Indianapolis.

Danny G. Clawson
Memorial services for Danny G. Clawson, 73, of Logansport will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Marocco Funeral Chapel, Logansport with calling one hour before the service.
He passed away at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on April 25, 1935 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Proctor) Clawson.
Danny was a former movie theater film operator in Logansport, and he also owned and operated The Smoke House for many years. Danny enjoyed the horse tracks and playing poker.
Survivors include one daughter Danelle White and husband, Jay, and two grandchildren, Zachary and Erica White, all of Logansport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Paul and Donald Clawson; and one sister, Norma Martin.
Father Jeff Martin will officiate the service, and burial will be at a later date at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
George E. Todd
George E. Todd, 66 of Logansport, went to be with his Lord at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, in Memorial Hospital.
Born April 2, 1942, in Windfall, he was the son of Max and Lois Hannah Todd.
On April 8, 1964, he was married to Loretta Baker, who preceded in death March 13, 1989. He was married Nov. 25, 1995, in Logansport, to Beverly Pope Monda, who survives.
In 1964, he graduated from Tri-State University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration. George was the retired owner and president of S.U.S. Cast Products.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Logansport Rotary. George was currently serving as a board member for the Memorial Hospital Foundation and had been a past board member for the Logansport-Cass County Chamber of Commerce. He was also a member of Elks Lodge 66.
George enjoyed fishing, classic cars and spending time with his family and friends. George’s love will live on as his final gift was that of being an organ donor.
Surviving with his wife are one son, Jeff Todd and his wife, Tammy, Logansport; one daughter, Angela Hindman and her husband, John, Longmont, Colo.; five stepdaughters, Dana Schau and her husband, Charles, Kristin Roberts and her husband, Wayne, Kerrie Bowman and her husband, Michael, and Jody Timmer and her husband, Scott, all of Grandville, Mich., and Sara Monda and her fiancé, Damon Dorato, Punta Gorda, Fla.; one sister, Patricia Mock, Kenesaw, Ga.; 20 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Kassandra Marie Todd.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fisher Funeral Chapel and one hour before the services on Saturday at the church.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. William Shannon and Pastor Barry York officiating.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Chesterfield Cemetery, Chesterfield.
Contributions may be made to the Kassandra Todd Memorial Fund in care of the Cass County Community Foundation.
