Dale C. Clark, 82, 4009 Indiana 28 East, Lafayette, died at 5:30 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2003, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Born October 14, 1920, in Tippecanoe County, he had lived in the county all of his life and was a graduate of Stockwell High School. On May 8, 1942, in Talbot, he was married to Dorothy Virginia Ransom, who survives. A farmer, he owned and operated his own farm in Tippecanoe County. Mr. Clark as the great-grandson of Daniel J. Clark, founder of Clarks Hill. He was a member of the Stockwell United Methodist Church, the Indiana Farmers Union and Farm Bureau. He was a former Lauramie Township trustee and past director of Tipmont REMC. Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Nancy Stone (husband:Michael) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and Jill Thompson (husband Bruce) of Naperville, Illinios; five grandchildren, Daniel, Patrick and Ryan Stone, and Alexis and Jacqueline Thompson; and one great-grandchild, Cameron Stone. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanette Clark. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lafayette Urban Ministry.

Services for James Robert "Bob" Seehase, 79, of 2940N 925E, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Fisher Funeral Chapel. He died at 11:44 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2003, in Logansport Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 11, 1924, in Chicago, he was the son of Otto and Laura Feckner Seehase. He was married April 7, 1945, in Logansport, to Frankie Parker, who died May 24, 1992. A graduate of Royal Center High School, Mr. Seehase was a member of the Indiana National Guard. He was a retired railroad worker and a farmer. He was owner and operator of Oak Ridge Farms until his retirement. He was a member of the Tipton Lodge, Scottish Rite, Indianapolis, Murat Shrine, American Legion Post #60, FOE, a charter member of Indiana Beef Cattle Association, charter member of Cass County Beef Cattle Association, a lifetime member of the American Angus Association and a member of the Cass-Miami Historical Society. He was very active in the Cass County 4-H auction. Mr. Seehase attended Miami Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons, Jim Seehase Jr., Royal Center, and Fred Seehase and Rick Seehase, both of Logansport; one daughter, Cindy Scott and her husband, Kevin, Logansport; one granddaughter Stephanie Mollenkopf and her husband, Blake, Logansport; and three grandsons, Wes, Duane and Cody Scott, all of Logansport. The Rev. Paul Reeder will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery, Twelve Mile. Friends may all from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral chapel, where a Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Twelve Mile Responders, P.O. Box 13, Twelve Mile, Cass County 4-H Beef Project in care of Cass County Beef Cattle Association , in care of Joe Carlson, Community State Bank, Royal Center.

Helen L. Miller, 90, died at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003, in Regency Place. Born Aug. 21, 1912, in Osage City, Kan., she graduated from Paseo High School in Kansas City, Mo., and the Chicago School of Interior Design. She married Stuart W. Miller in Kansas City in 1934. He survives. Mrs. Miller was interested in arts and crafts. She was a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Delta Chi Sigma and Sigma Phi Gamma sororities, Business and Professional Women and Lafayette Little Theatre. Surviving with her husband is a daughter, Sonya Lee Koch (husband: Duane) of Lafayette. Surviving are 4 grandsons, Mike, Tony, Ted and Barry, and 7 great-grandchildren, all of Lafayette. Preceded in death by two brothers, Max and Guy Clemens.

Ruth M. Rhoades, 80, Logansport, died at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2003, in her residence. Born Dec. 21, 1922, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Charles "Roy" and Anna Spillman Grigsby. On March 22, 1941, in Jeffersonville, Ind., she was married to Donald M. Rhoades. He preceded in death Feb. 25, 1993. A homemaker, she and her husband had owned and operated the former D & R Trailer Sales. She was a member of the Cross-Wind United Methodist Church. She was also a 50-year member of the Fidelity Chapter No. 58 Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Rhoades was a breast cancer survivor. An avid reader, her hobbies included crocheting. She had crocheted several items for the Riley Hospital for Children. Prior to her husband's death, she enjoyed working with him on projects. She also loved spending time with her children and grandson. Surviving are one son, Kenneth Rhoades, Boise, Idaho; one daughter, Carol Reeser, Logansport; Velma Mooney, North Weymouth, Massachusetts; and one grandson, Aaron Reeser. Four brothers and three sisters preceded in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation, the Riley Hospital for Children or the Cross-Wind United Methodist Church.

Francis J. Grolo, 82, Clarks Hill, Indiana, died at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2003, in his residence. Born April 4, 1921, in Greenhill, Indiana located in Warren County, he was the son of Joseph N. and Cora Smith Grolo. On August 25, 1946, in Tippecanoe County, he was married to Rosemary Fidler, who survives. Mr. Grolo was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during WWII. Since 1952, he had worked at Stockwell Lumber as a carpenter in the woodshop. He was a member of the Clarks Hill Christian Church where he served as an elder. Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Linda Lucille Certain, Clarks Hill, Indiana; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, four sisters, and one nephew. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clarks Hill Christian Church.

Georgia M. Gick, 79, of 2417 Crestview Court, died at 1:35 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2003, in Home Hospital. Born Nov. 5, 1923, in Fountain County, she graduated from Newtown High School in 1944. She married Henry P. Gick on June 8, 1954, in Oxford, and he died Sept. 11, 1992. Mrs. Gick was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Cathedral. She was also a member of Tippecanoe County Extension Homemakers club. She enjoyed flower gardening, working puzzles, cooking and sewing. Surviving are a son, Mark Gick, and a daughter, Becky Chapman (husband: Bert), and a sister, Irene Held, all of Lafayette. A sister-in-law, Melissa Luster of Kingsport, Tenn., survives. Preceded in death by a sister and a brother. Memorial contributions: American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or St. Mary Cathedral.

Larry W. Fields, 64, Logansport, died at 4:35 a.m. Sunday, July 27, 2003, in Logansport Memorial Hospital CICU. Born March 23, 1939, in Jasonville, he was the son of Oscar E. and Myrle Turley Fields. His mother survives in Vincennes. On July 21, 1961, in M.C.R.D. Base Chapel, San Diego, California, he was married to Carolyn Tobin, who survives. Mr. Fields was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1958 to 1963. He was retired from Logansport Municipal Utilities where he worked as electrical distribution manager. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church. He was Past Master of McCulloch Masonic Lodge, Marion. He was a former Chapter Adviser of the McCulloch DeMolay Chapter and had served as Associate Guardian of the Job's Daughters in Marion. He was a fan of NASCAR and Indy Racing. He enjoyed gospel and bluegrass music. Surviving with his wife and mother are one daughter, Lorri Fields, Logansport; two sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony J. Fields and Carey L. Justice, and Robert M. Fields and Pat Stephens, all of Logansport; one sister, Ruthann Hulan, Denver, Colorado; one brother, James Fields, Vincennes; one sister-in-law, Linda Harris and her husband, Bill, Florida; and three grandsons, Connor, Rhys, and Simon Fields, all of Logansport. Memorial contributions may be made to any Masonic charities.
Robert Jennings Randolph

He was a lithographer for Warren Products in Lafayette where he retired. He enjoyed fishing and made his own poles and lures. He loved gardening , and was very proud of being in the rodeo. Survivors include: Wife, Ruth Imogene Randolph: Sons, William Randolph of Monticello, Robert Randolph of Mooresville, IN, Wayne Randolph of Muncie, Thomas Randolph of Martinsville: Brothers, Donald Randolph of Brownsburg, and Charles Randolph of Indianpolis: Sister, Marilyn Love of Plainfield, IN, 15 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by Father: Jennings Boyd Randolph Mother: Marian Rose Randolph, and Sister: Dorothy Ward.
