Bernice M. Dierckman, 81 of Morris, Passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 17 from 4-8 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 am on Saturday, March 18 at St. Anthony’s Church in Morris.
The family requests memorials to the Morris Fire Department.
Paul E. "Chief" Hime, 78
Paul E. "Chief" Hime, 78, of Greensburg, passed away at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at the Heritage House in Greensburg, IN.
Paul was born on April 19, 1927 in Milford, IN.
He was the son of Albert O. and Mildred (Hinkle) Hime.
He married Sara Lois Norris on February 19, 1946.
Paul was a 1945 graduate of Burney High School.
He was a WWII Army veteran and he retired from Naval Avionics after 36 years of service.
Paul was a lifetime member and very active in the Burney United Methodist Church, he was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge of Waldron, and a Charter Member the Greensburg Power of the Past.
Paul was an avid Green Bay Packers and Indy 500 fan.
Survivors include his wife: Sara L. (Norris) Hime of Greensburg, daughter: Paulette Sexton of Columbus, IN, sons: Mickey Joe Hime, Sr. of Fairland, IN, and Scott (Vicky) Hime of Greensburg, IN, 5 grandchildren, 1 step granddaughter, 1 great granddaughter, and 4 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at the Gilliland- Howe Funeral Home on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at the Milford Cemetery.
Pastors Bill and Tammy Leak and Pastor Stanley Shaw will be officiating.
Friends may call at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral on Friday, March 17, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. With a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
Anna Maria Hess, 46
Anna Maria Hess, 46, of New Point, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2006, at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Madison, Ind., on April 30, 1959, the daughter of Kenneth Harold Marsh; he predeceased her.
She was raised in the Westport area.
She was a 1978 graduate of South Decatur High School.
She worked at Harvest Market, and was a member of Mt. Aerie Baptist Church.
Her hobby was collecting boats.
She was married to Michael Andrew Hess on March 30, 1991, in Sevierville, TN.
She is survived by her husband in New Point; son David Kenneth Garris, Crothersville; step-son Timothy Michael Hess, Milan; sister Jane Marsh, Vevay.
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Aerie Cemetery in Westport on Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Richardson officiating.
Arrangements were handled by Bass & Gasper Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital through the funeral home.

Floreen Steinfort-Gibson, 79, of Batesville, died Sunday, March 12, 2006.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville.
Funeral services will be at 10 am on Thursday at Holy Family Church in Oldenburg.
The family requests memorials to The Waters of Batesville Activty Fund.
Harold L. Davis, 75
Harold L. Davis, 75, Hamilton, Ohio, died at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2006 in the University Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was a former Greensburg resident.
Born, December 12, 1930 in Rush Co., Indiana, he was the son of William G. Davis and Francis Louise (Reames) Craft.
He had worked at Hillenbrand Industries for 25 years.
He was a member of the American Legion, lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, Eagles in Hamilton, OH.
He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a POW for 33 months.
He was married to Roslyn Sweezy on August 15, 1981 and she survives.
He is survived by his wife Roslyn Davis, Hamilton; step mother, Edy Davis, Rensselaer; 2 sons, Hans Davis, Florida, Johann Davis, Florida; 1 daughter, Anna Smith, Greensburg; 1 step son, Ed (Janet) Schroeder, Hamilton; 1 brother, Elmo Davis, Ft. Wayne; 3 sisters, Gwendolyn Bowen, Greensburg, Martha Stuehrenberg, Greensburg, Betty Wall, Ft. Wayne; 5 Grandchildren, 1 step granddaughter, several great grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, William E. Davis; 2 brothers, John E. Davis and Larry Wayne Davis.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Monday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 13, 2006 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with officiating.
Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
