Johnathan Michael Obermeyer, age of 8 days, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Clarion North Hospital in Indianapolis.

Calling is Friday from 9-10:30 am at the Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville.

Funeral services will follow at 11 am at St. Louis Church.

Memorials may be made to the Johnathan Obermeyer/ Clarion Hospital Memorial Fund.

Thomas P. Sailor, 57

Thomas P. Sailor, 57, of Laurel passed away on Friday, March 10, 2006 at Decatur County Hospital.

He was born in Rushville on September 10, 1948.

He was the son of the late Carroll and Edith (Kiefner) Sailor, and was the husband to Cheryl Sailor, married on December 27, 1969.

He was employed as a Print Press Operator at Print Pack Inc. in Greensburg, In for 34 years.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; Son, Mathew T. Sailor, Rushville; Son, Travis C (Rachel) Sailor, Fla; Brother, John W. Sailor, Laurel; Brother, Byron W. (Bonnie) Sailor, Greensburg.

He is also survived by five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Sister - Judith Sailor and Brother - Lewis (Bud) Sailor.

Visitation will be at Burns Funeral Home on Monday, March 13, 2006 from 5-7 pm.

Funeral services will be at 10 am on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at the Burns Funeral Home in Milroy, In with Rev. Larry Callahan officiating.

Burial will follow in the Laurel North Cemetary in Laurel, In.

Memorials may be made to South Eastern Indiana Hospice.

Helen F. Hopkins Marsh 84

Helen F. Hopkins Marsh 84 of Greensburg, Indiana passed away Tuesday March 14, 2006 at Heritage House Nursing Home Greensburg.

She was born November 6, 1921 in Pickens, South Carolina the daughter of Forrest E. and Effie (Barkley) Hopkins.

She worked at Oliger’s Paint Store as a Bookkeeper for 12 years and was a Case Worker for the Office of Family & Children for 25 years retiring in 1987.

She was a member of the Sandcreek Baptist Church and enjoyed Crocheting.

She married Marion W. Marsh on February 11, 1950 in Havelock, North Carolina and he survives her.

She is also survived by Brother-In-Law Vernon Marsh and wife Mary of Greensburg, Indiana and a Sister-In-Law Gene Piles of Georgia.

Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by Two Brothers: Lt Col Paul Hopkins and Jim Hopkins, Three Sisters: Marguerite Harvey and two in infancy.

Friends may call at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Thursday March 16, 2006 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Funeral Services will be held Friday March 17, 2006 at 10:00 Am at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home in Greensburg, Indiana with Dr. Lee Riggs officiating.

Burial will follow in the Tangelwood Cemetery in Versailles, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sandcreek Baptist Church.

Carol A. Large, 47, of North Vernon, died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at 1:00 p.m., at Pickett Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary East officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to time of service.

Burial will be at Rock Creek Cemetery.

Sylvia M. Erhardt, 69

Sylvia M. Erhardt, 69, of Morris passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at St. Andrew’s Health Campus in Batesville.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 19 from 1-5 pm at St. Anthony’s Church in Morris.

Funeral services will be at 10 am on Monday, March 20 at the church.

The family requests memorials St. Anthony’s Cemetery Fund or Hospice of Margaret Mary.

Edith M. Young, 88

Edith M. Young, 88, Greensburg, died Thursday, February 9, 2006 at the I.O.O.F. Home in Greensburg.

Born, August 27, 1917 in Monroe Co., Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles A. and Mary A. (Fleener) Galyan.

She was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone in Bloomington for several years.

She was a member of the Little Union Baptist Church in Unionville.

She was married to Forrest Ray Young on November 12, 1938 in Franklin, Indiana and he preceded her in death on June 27, 1996.

She is survived by 2 sons, Stephen R. Young, Greensburg, Randall G. Young, Beech Grove; 2 brothers, Carl Galyan, Brooklyn, In., Charles J. Galyan, Bloomington; 2 sisters, Mary Chitwood, Spencer, Frances Richardson, Bloomington; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; 1 brother, Clarence Galyan; 5 sisters, Norma Ragle, Bertha Goodall, Myrtle Monday, Pearl Richardson, Grace Lind.

Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. Monday at the Little Union Baptist Church, 5511 N. Brummetts Creek Rd., Unionville, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2006 at the Little Union Baptist Church in Unionville, Indiana.

Internment will be held in the Little Union Baptist Cemetery in Unionville.

Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg has been entrusted to handle the funeral arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southeastern Indiana.
