Bruce Brechbiel

Services for Bruce Brechbiel, 74, of Logansport will be at 10:00 a.m. August 9, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St. in Logansport.
He died at 10:58 p.m. Tuesday August 5, 2008 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born June 16, 1934 in Pontiac, Michigan, he was the son of the late Ralph and Lois (Risser) Brechbiel. Bruce married Patricia Fillion of Lynn, Mass. in 1961.
He was a 1952 Burnettsville High School Graduate.
Bruce was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served 15 months as a Hospital Corpman with the 3rd Battalion 1st Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Navy in 1970 after 20 years. He was also Chief Lab Tech at Logansport Memorial Hospital for 18 years retiring in 1989.
He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. #3790, a member of the American Legion #60, Logansport Elks Lodge and he enjoyed golfing and bowling. Bruce was also an avid Nascar and Cubs Fan.
Survivors include his wife Pat Brechbiel, of Logansport, 1 son Scott Brechbiel and his wife Christina of Florence, Mass., 1 brother Mick Brechbiel of Logansport, and 4 grandchildren, Aaron Brechbiel and his mom Pam of Wayne, PA., and Marie, Addie and Ashton Brechbiel of Florence, Mass. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday August 8, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel.
Chaplain Larry Phillips will officiate at the service.
Burial with Full Military Rites will be conducted at Legion Circle in Mt. Hope Cemetery by the Cass County Veteran’s Council.
Memorial Contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
Charles M. Snow

Charles M. Snow, 93, of Logansport died at 5:40 p.m. Sunday August 3, 2008 at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.
Born May 4, 1915 in Kokomo, Indiana, he was the son of late Meredith A. and Hester H. Snow.
A Graduate of Kokomo High School, Charles worked as an interior designer.
Survivors include friends Rick Odom and Betty Odom, both of Logansport.
There will be no services or visitation.
Marocco Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Steven W. Adair

Services for Steven W. Adair, 55, of Logansport will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday July 25, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel in Logansport.
He crossed the finish line of his Great Race at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at his home.
Born on May 29, 1953 in Logansport, he was the son of the late William and Delores (Burns) Adair Asher. Steve was a U.S. Army Veteran and was currently a multi-slide setup operator for Humphrey Tool in Logansport.
He enjoyed being outdoors, working on cars, NASCAR and Nationwide Series Racing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Adair and partner Frank Woodward, daughter, Sadie Evans and husband Travis, sisters Cyndi Mackey and husband James, Tereasa Knight and husband Bill, brothers Richard Adair, Ron Adair and wife Jan and James Adair all of Logansport, grandchildren, Justin Adair, Ethan, Emily and Evan Snyder, and Blake and Elizabeth Evans, all of Logansport.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sharon Smith.
Calling will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday July 24, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, Logansport.
Pastor Andy Weil will officiate the service and burial with full military rites will be conducted at Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.
John P. Lamb

Memorial Services for John P. Lamb, 63, of Logansport will be at 8:00 p.m. Friday July 25, 2008 at the First Assembly of God, 831 Burlington Ave, Logansport.
He died at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday July 23, 2008 at the Caring Hands Healthcare Center, Peru.
Born on June 16, 1945 in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the son of the late John K. and Dorothy (Hunter) Lamb. On August 10, 1975 he married DeAnna S. (Smith) Brown, she survives.
He attended Aubenaubee School in Leiters Ford, he was a U.S. Air Force Veteran retiring after 20 years from the Air Force Reserves, and was also a retired Guard from the Miami County Prison.
John was a member of the First Assembly of God and was an avid gun collector.
Survivors include his wife, DeAnna S. Lamb of Loganport, 1 son Dana Brown and wife Debra of Barnesville, Georgia, 1 daughter, Kristeen Weed of Zionsville, 1 sister Pauline Beery and husband Jack of Rochester, 9 Grandson’s and 1 Great Grandson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.

Evelyn Ruth Quack

Memorial Services for Evelyn Ruth Quack, 84, of Logansport will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday August 9, 2008 at the Logansport Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She passed away at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday July 22, 2008 at Brownsburg Health Care Center.
Born on March 13, 1924 in Walton, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Lilly (Foss) Martin. On November 18, 1944 she married James C. Quack and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1974.
She was a longtime Seamstress in the tailor shop at J. Adkins Broadway at Fifth Clothing Store retiring in 2004 with over 20 years of service.
She was a 47 year member of the Logansport Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and she was also an expert seamstress.
Survivors include daughter Deborah A. Lamberth and husband John of Stewart, TN, son Mark S. Quack of Stewart, TN., daughter, Brenda L. Faust and husband Larry of Indianapolis, brother, David Martin and wife Nancy of Georgia, sisters, Eileen Runyon and Jessie Koch both of Logansport, 17 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 son, Timothy A. Quack and sister, Roberta Turner.
Graveside Services will be private with burial at Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.
Danny G. Clawson

Memorial Services for Danny G. Clawson, 73, of Logansport will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 24, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, Logansport with calling 1 hour prior to the service.
He passed away at 5:45 p.m. Saturday July 19, 2008 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on April 25, 1935 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Proctor) Clawson.
Danny was a former movie theater film operator in Logansport and he also owned and operated The Smoke House for many years. Danny enjoyed the horse tracks and playing poker.
Survivors include 1 daughter Danelle White and husband Jay and 2 Grandchildren, Zachary and Erica White all of Logansport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Paul and Donald Clawson and 1 sister Norma Martin.
Father Jeff Martin will officiate the service and burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park at a later date.
Harold L. Foust

Harold L. “Hap” Foust, 87, of Logansport died at 9:45 p.m., Tuesday July 15, 2008 at his residence.
Born April 30, 1921 in Medaryville, he was the son of the late Otto and Myrtle (Harper) Foust. On June 8, 1949 he married Marilyn Bower, she survives.
Harold was a retired Masonary and Cement Contractor, a WWII Navy veteran, a lifetime member of the Logansport V.F.W. #3790 and he was also a member of the Monticello Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Marilyn Foust of Logansport, 3 sons, Pat Foust of Peru, Rick Foust and his wife Bonita of Peru and Mark Foust and his wife Cynde of Logansport, 2 sisters, Hazel F. Schrock and Emma M. Miller and her husband Donald both of Logansport, 10 grandchildren, Tracey Williams and her husband Mike, Ashley Scannell and her husband Byron, Adam, Amy, Jason, Chad, Nicki, J.R., Russel and James Foust and his wife Tammy, 5 Great Grandchildren, Cail Brown, Katelynn Foust, and Andrew, Ally and Kate Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son Mike Foust, 2 brothers Arnold and Ronald Foust and 1 sister, Rusty Amelio.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary L. Marocco, 100 of Logansport will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 19, 2008 at All Saints Catholic Church.
She passed away at 10:00 p.m. Tuesday July 15, 2008 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.
Born on March 13, 1908 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Anna (Kuntz) Petrie.
She was a 1924 Graduate of St. Joseph’s Commercial School. She formerly worked for Home Telephone Co. in Logansport. She and her husband Floyd were former co-owner’s of Polsinelli’s Tavern where she worked in the kitchen, where spaghetti and meatballs were a specialty. She also formerly co-owned the Palace Tavern.
Mary was a lifetime member of All Saints Catholic Church, All Saints Ladies Society and was honored in 2001 as the first 75 year member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include 1 daughter Mary Lou Kesling and her husband Norman, 1 son Louis R. Marocco and his wife Margo, son in law, William E. Albright, sisters Anna M. Petrie and Florence T. Tobias all of Logansport and Evelyn J. Dietze and her husband Herman of Monticello, sister in law Helen L. Petrie of Indianapolis, 12 Grandchildren, Lou Ann, Brian and Mark Marocco, Tiphanie Campbell, Ashlee Straub, Marsha Fewell, David Albright, Cynde Barnes, Staci Wedekind, Shelle Liebner, and Beth and Mark Kesling, 28 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd L. Marocco on December 12, 1984, 2 sons, Dewey and John A. Marocco, 1 Daughter Judith A. Albright and 1 brother, John F. Petrie and 1 sister Henrietta Laing.
Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Friday July 18, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St. in Logansport where there will be a Scripture Service at 6:30 p.m. and a Daughters of Isabella Service thereafter.
Father Mike McKinney will officiate the service. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Graveside Services for Patricia Lilley, 76, of Huntington formerly of Logansport will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday June 26, 2008 at Atwater Cemetery in Portage County, Ohio.
She died at 3:05 am Saturday June 21, 2008 at Hickory Creek of Huntingon.
Born on May 31, 1932 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Jean (McKim) Lilley.
Survivors are cousins, Max and Claire Peck of Kent, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 24, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel.

Barbara E. Turnipseed

She passed away at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Waters of Muncie.
Born in Peru, Indiana on January 14, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Vivian (Shafer) Turnipseed.
Survivors include sister Alice Graf of Macy, Indiana.
She is preceded in death by sister Virginia Stahl.

Linda M. Almos

Services for Linda M. Almos, 52 of Logansport will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday June 13, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, Logansport.
She went home to be with the Lord at 10:55 p.m. Monday June 9, 2008 at Parkview Health Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Born October 26, 1955 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of David and Helen (O’Brian) Manus, they survive.
Linda’s greatest passion was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Michael Almos of Cary, North Carolina, three daughters, Sherry Lucas (David Cunningham) of Peru, Maria Almos (James Peterson) of Logansport and Tara Leahy of Lafayette, Parents, David and Helen Manus of Logansport, one brother, Terry Manus of Logansport, one sister, Patti Waye-Benson (Gary) of Cary, North Carolina, 9 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Richard Manus and one granddaughter Taylor Lucas.

Dan J. Regan

Graveside and Masonic Services for Dan J. Regan, 94 of Logansport will be at 12:00 Noon Saturday June 7, 2008 at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
He passed away at 4:00 a.m. Thursday May 29, 2008 at Hendricks Regional Hospital in Danville, Indiana after an extended illness.
Born on May 20, 1914 in Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John and Bessie (Sullivan) Regan. On August 15, 1936 he married Geraldine T. Fisher and she preceded him in death on April 25, 1996.
Dan was a Burnettsville High School Graduate who formerly was employed at Allisons Transmission in Indianapolis and retired in 1974 from General Tire in Logansport as Superintendant of Maintenance after 22 years.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Elks, Moose and Eagles Lodges all of Logansport and a 69 year member of the Royal Center Masonic Lodge F & AM #585.
Dan was known as “Gampy” by all who loved him, and he never met a stranger. His passions were his grandchildren and caring for his two dogs, Marley and Bailey.
Survivors include two daughters, Lori Hiatt (Clayton Clark) of Plainfield and Cheryl Sharps (Paul) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, one son Dan J. Regan, Jr. (Doris) of Logansport, one brother Charles Vanalst of Burnettsville , two sister Margaret Flowers of Logansport and Dorothy Vanalst of Burnettsville,8 grandchildren, Jimmy Hiatt (Lelani Claiborne), Jennifer Hiatt (Kevin Murphy), Julie Jones (Steve), Christopher Sharps, Meredith Sharps and Jeff, Eric (Sonya) and Michael Regan, 5 great grandchildren, Maddox Hiatt, Samantha Jones, Jarret, Beau and Mathias Regan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and 11 brothers and sisters.
