Glenn Richard Meyer, 86, died Sunday in Margaret Mary Hospital, Batesville.

Visitation is Tuesday, 5-8 p.m., at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville.

Services are Wednesday, 11 a.m., in St. John United Church of Christ, Rev. David Johnston officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery with military graveside rights.

Alma Creech, 84

Alma Creech, 84, Anderson, died Monday at Community Hospital in Anderson after to an extended illness.

Born Sept. 17, 1920 in Owsley County, Ky. the daughter of Arthur and Leah (Hall) Creech.

She was an Anderson resident since 1943. She graduated from Clarksburg High School in 1939. She attended Central Wesleyan Church in Anderson and was a member of the UAW Local No. 662. She also participated in Life Enrichment Series. She liked gardening and crocheting. As part of her enjoyment in serving others, she made over 1, 000 lap quilts and walker bags for local nursing homes.

Survivors include sisters Bertie Creech of Anderson and Georgia Cohen of Shelbyville, a brother, Steve Creech of Midway, Ky, and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Stanley and Whitley Creech, four sisters, Lillie Shoaf, Geneva Fields, Agnes Ring, and Allie Cox.

Visitation will be today, from 5 until 7 p.m. services at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, with Rev. Robert Pavey and Rev. Richard Carr officiating. Burial will be in South Park Cemetery in Greensburg on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

Gerald G. Barnes, 90

Gerald G. Barnes, 90, Plainfield, died Sunday.

Graveside services will take place today at 3 p.m. at the Sandcreek Cemetery in Greensburg.

Marie Frances Pfeifer, 89

Marie Frances Pfeifer, 89, died Wednesday.

Visitation will be today from 4-8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7 p.m. at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will take place Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Denis Catholic Church in Westport.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Greensburg.

Ellen Marie Covington Ryle, 81

Ellen Marie Covington Ryle, 81, died at her Arizona home on Nov. 21, 2004.

She was born on Aug. 9, 1923, in McClain Co., Okla., the daughter of the late Ethel B. and James O. Stephenson.
